Sew Posh recovered a couch for me last April. That was done on a timely basis and we were…read moregenerally happy with the result. There was a slight problem with the firmness of the cushions and that was addressed, but the cushion manufacture sent new padding to Sew Posh. Since then we have yet to receive the new padding. Ari also took two of our pillows to make new cushions on two chairs. It is now March and have not received the new padding or our pillows. Our phone calls have gone unanswered. This is no way to run a business.

She reupholstered two lazy boy chairs, increased the quality of the chairs by adding padding on the side as well as adding a lumbar pillow. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at this business. They did a TERRIBLE job on two chairs…read more They admitted it was an awful job and tried to blame it on the fabric. It was a Perigold fabric and they didn't mention forseeing any problems with it when I dropped the chairs off. They said they had been in business, I believe, 30 years. I am surprised that they even allowed these chairs to leave the premises but I guess they would try to pass them off on me if I would accept them. I said I would like my money back-the amount I paid to have them uphols and the cost of my fabric. This is when it got ugly and Emily, who runs the office, used the "F" word while speaking to me. I told her how unprofessional that was and all I was asking was for them to "make me whole financially". She seemed to be unable to do basic math as it was very simple, what I had paid and what I was owed. That said, those chose to only partially reimburse me. Then she said they had 1/2 of the fabric leftover (approximately 7 yards). So I asked why they had me buy twice the amount needed and why it wasn't returned to me when I came to pick up the chairs...

I am sure that this business is great if everything works out well and you get what you need…read more Unfortunately, that is not what happened in our case. It is a very long story, but there is definitely an imperfection in our wallpaper that this business is unwilling to acknowledge nor consider, the owner, Larissa actually accused me of lying to her, which was a huge insult to a client who spent a fair amount of money with them. she did tell us that they recommend us hiring a professional wallpaper installer because sometimes non-professionals use too much glue and the paper can stretch. However, my husband has wallpapered many many walls over his lifetime and has helped build houses and certainly knew what he was doing, and did due diligence and got the right glue and looked at you tubes and did not stretch it out and did a fantastic job. It's the paper itself that has lines through part of it. So in the middle of my huge wall I have a huge rectangle of just lines. It looks horrible and everybody that comes over. Says it looks horrible. This is a Phillip Jeffries grass cloth seamless. when you take the wallpaper off the roll to put it on, you cannot tell that there is this drifting. You can only see it once it up and you walk away from it so if you are looking at my picture please zoom in. I am devastated as we don't know what to do other than buy a picture to put over it and we already spent over $1000 on one wall. I just wish the business could have tried to be an intermediary with the manufacturer and try to work out a deal in essence be an advocate for their client. but they would have none of it. They said they did everything they could but I honestly don't know what they did. They did contact the sales rep for me who came over said my husband did a great job and said this is the way it supposed to look well. The sample we received does not look like this. I can see nothing online on the YouTube or any comments about this paper that talks about these drifting lines nothing so I guess it's buyer beware, which is why I am writing a review
