Iris made slipcovers for a loveseat and ottoman for me. I was not happy that they did not follow…read moreinstructions on how to lay out the print on my chair, but that was secondary to the fact that the new slipcovers do not fit. Iris told me that they could use the previous slipcovers as a pattern but the new slipcovers are too small around the bottom. The slipcover for the chair will not zip all the way and the one for the ottoman would not pull down. The reason I used them in the first place was that they said they said they could make the slipcovers without my having to give them the furniture - just the existing slipcovers. Now they say they need the furniture to fix the covers. This will require a truck and movers to get it there and back. This is turning out to be very expensive for a less than professional job.

They came out and gave me a quote and told me that the job was difficult, it would take all day, and require someone with a special expertise in this type of work. I was promised the job would come out perfect and the door would look like new. They charged me a thousand dollars. On the day the repair man came, he showed up very late. He once again told me the job was difficult, would take all day, would probably go into the next day but, that it would come out prefect in the end. He then left for home depot to get tools as he did not show up with the right equipment, even after they came out to see the job several days before hand. Well, he worked on the job for a few hours, and then stated that that was the best he could do, although the door looks much better it is by no means perfect and still shows signs of a dent. In total for a thousand dollars these people made about 350 and hour, and left me with much less then what they promised. To make more money they pumped up that the job was difficult and would take an expert and time but it would be perfect. What they delivered was much less then perfect and no where near worth a thousand dollars. I was conned into a price by being told the job was tough, required and expert, and would take all day if not two. What I got was a handy man in a pick up truck who did not have the proper equipment to fix the job and was by no means an expert in the field. Me or anyone I know will never hire them again, you just as easily could get a handyman and the job would be much much cheaper. As a matter of fact what I got was a handyman who claimed to be an expert to get the price higher. I paid for an expert but got much less. They are the perfect example of the saying " a jack of all trades a master of none".
