katie is so kind and considerate to me/all patients…read more i had her fix 2-3 cavities with NO SHOT PER MY REQUEST. i have a high pain tolerance. she described what she would be doing and would stop regularly making sure i was tolerating what was going on. she would give me a shot if it got too much...it did NOT. she gives great info explaining in detail as she progresses. she could see when it did hurt me; she changed drills to make it faster in that specific area during the entire procedure. i highly recommend her to everyone; so happy i got her after my dentist for many decades RETIRED to live the "good life". lol since i have insurance, they file the claim for me. i recently got my 1st bill since i now have AETNA health/dental insurance. i'm trying to figure out how to pay this online with my credit card; so far no luck; but not giving up. thanks katie and asst. for your kindness and graciousness knowing i have to have my eyes covered due to 55 yrs. of chronic lyme disease / borrelia burgdorferi and bartonella/cat scratch disease, 2 species MISDIAGNOSED for 35 yrs. by up to 50 drs!! also i can't have the chair lowered very much due to a hiatal hernia in the breast area. they work WITH the patients to make them as comfy as possible.

After a bad experience at a different dentist many years ago, I stopped going to dentists. Fast forward to finding out I needed knee surgery and got scheduled faster than expected... knowing I had some bad issues going on in my mouth. I gave Grandgenett a call and explained my urgent situation and they got me in right away. After X-rays it was clear I needed a lot done to clear infection and the problems causing it right away or I would not be able to have knee surgery safely. The staff quickly found time that day and the day after to get everything done and my ailing mouth returning to health. I think I had every staff member working on me by the time all four quadrants of my mouth were worked on. Every one of them were concerned for my welfare and comfort.... And more importantly, that I got every issue I had taken care of completely. I still hate going to dentists... but Dr Grandgenett and his staff have renewed my faith in them! Btw, the day after my treatments, my headaches are gone, my aches have subsided, and I can feel my teeth and mouth healing and getting stronger each and every day!

Dr Hampton pulled one of his teeth and left a section of root in his gum causing infection and pain until the root finally worked it's way out of the gum. In the mean time, Dr Hampton prescribed several antibiotics that really messed up Larry's digestive system so he still has chronic diarrhea. I generally just go for cleaning every 6 months and although I have some problems I'm hesitant to share and get the care I need. The hygienist doesn't clean the front of my teeth at all. Apparently I am troublesome and in need of punishment for my very existence. I guess we need a new dentist.

While the receptionist was polite, her concern was getting paid and the next step, and the next step and the next step. I just wanted this crown removed to see if the pain would stop, I was thinking I would make future plans after I had this done. Possibly remove other crowns and have them replaced. I just wanted to take things one step at a time. She decided to put me on hold to speak to the dentist. No one ever came back on the phone.
