High Recommendation for the Excellent Work of Campus Commons Physical Therapy!! Wonderful healing work, friendly, understanding, and all you really need in physical therapists. Mark Eddy has done an amazing job assembling a strong team who deliver. I have had three significant physical injuries during the past five years, and every time Mark & Team have been able to evaluate and heal. This is no ordinary Physical Therapy Office!! Much Appreciation to Mark, Ryann, Jasmine, and all the great folks at Campus Commons Physical Therapy!! read more

I recently completed rehabilitation for a shoulder injury at Campus Commons Physical Therapy (CCPT). At other physical therapy facilities, I have normally worked with the same physical therapist, which was fine. At CCPT, in order to do PT twice a week, I wouldn't necessarily work with the same physical therapist, which worked out quite well. I felt that each of the physical therapists that I worked with were all very good. They each continued and built on my rehab program, bringing something slightly different and ultimately quite helpful to the table. The physical therapists were great about addressing my concerns, and at the end of my rehab, provided a plan to continue strengthening and stretching my shoulder. I would recommend CCPT without any hesitation. read more

My physical therapist, Jasmine Currimao, is outstanding at her job. Following my meniscus injury, she did a very thorough assessment of my pain, limitations and goals and started me on my journey to recovery. At each appointment she listened to my current pain issues and made adjustments to the therapy, as needed. She knew when to push me and when to back off. When I "graduated" from PT, she made sure I had a copy of all the exercises I needed going forward to keep strengthening my knee. It is not just a job for her - it is a calling, because she truly cares about her patients. The entire office is a well-oiled machine with reminder texts about appointments, and smooth check-in/check-out procedures. Can't recommend them enough! read more

Best PT experience, ever. They rehabbed my shoulder post-surgery, my knee post-injury, and are now rehabbing my old back. The staff is great. Everyone is caring, engaging, and interesting. No one wants to be in a situation where they need physical therapy, but, if you are, this is truly the place to go. (Thanks, Jack) read more

So here I am on a Friday afternoon, waiting with my mom who is patient here. She has been here several times already and speaks very highly of this office . Just so you know , my mom is very easy going and likes just about everyone she meets! Me on the other hand ...well I'm just as easy going but I'm more judgmental in most situations! I would like to share that this office really has a great staff ! Their front staff appears professional, organized, kind, and warm. They greet patients right away in person and on the phone . When I saw a gentleman in the front having a little coughing fit , one of the young ladies right away got some water for him. Another older gentleman who looked like he was going to be a new patient needed some help filling out a paper form . It was so sweet to see the young lady in the front come out and sit next to him to help fill out the form. Despite being busy , it seemed like all the patients were brought back promptly. My mom really likes her PT and and the treatment and attention she is receiving. From what I have seen of this office from the waiting area, if I had to see a PT , I would be happy to visit this office . It seems a few of the negative reviews are due to insurance issues . What most people don't understand is .... THEIR insurance benefits and how the insurance companies work. I suspect that If insurance wasn't involved and people were paying money direct to the office there would be no confusion about cost and responsibilities. However since most people have some form of insurance , it's usually a courtesy that medical offices verify coverage for the patient and explain to the patient what their benefits and copay's are. Many insurance companies can be difficult to work with and usually it it not the medical offices that dropped the ball , but rather the fault of the insurance companies with delays in providing accurate information. Anyway , I just thought I would share a different perspective! Happy Friday! read more

Campus Commons Physical Therapy - Waiting area - Physical Therapy Near Me - Sacramento, California

I just finished my course of treatment at Campus Commons under Jack Nelson and it was excellent. Unfortunately, due to a major injury a decade or so previously, I have had a lot of experience with therapy. Jack is the best I have had. He is both knowledgeable and thorough. He actually researched my prior injury (a brain fistula) so he could understand it. The entire from the receptionists to the interns were great and very helpful. A great choice read more

On the positive side, the PTs are all technically highly proficient at their jobs. That said, there is a lot of room for improvement in their customer service, friendly banter, and smiling portion of their services. read more

Writing this review after both my wife and I received PT here for extended period of times. 4-6 months. My wife came for mysterious back pain and I for a shoulder injury. My wife saw the owner due to the severity and complexity of her issue - she spoke glowingly of him. After 6 months of pain, it took him only 6 weeks for her to find relief. She eventually solved 98% of the pain... I have spent 3 months with Jessica Cordero and my time with her prompted this review. After years of nagging shoulder pain that finally took me out of the gym - I came here. Jessica took the time and thought to craft a plan specifically for me and altered each exercise for my issues and goals. She also added several forms of "manual therapy" - the combo of the exercises and MT was very effective. It was obvious she would improvise each week to find a exercise and MT, that worked. Other employees often commented, they'd never seen that before. We are not complete but the progress is great. This location serves the neighborhood that is primarily elderly, many Medicare patients. We are much younger and they still did a great job. I highly recommend CCPT - ask for Jess. read more

Just completed my 2 month physical therapy treatment plan here at CCPT and was very pleased with the type of care, treatment I received from Joe and Ally. I needed hands on guidance on exercises to execute, applying correct form to help me recover from a sprained knee and all the other aches and pains to accompany osteoarthritis. They were patient, listened to my issues and worked with me to recover and what to apply to my daily life. At CCPT, you get assigned the same physical therapist and appointments were available so you receive treatment following the frequency that was needed. Prior to coming to CCPT, I had already spent 5 months at the local medical center PT group and had minimal progress because of limited appointment times and rotating PT assigned to you so there was no consistency in treatment. read more

I just "graduated" after 12 sessions at CCPT and couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received. I've been to other PT clinics and this one far excels any other. For those who like easy parking, this place has it! The facility itself is immaculate, the girls at the front desk are cheerful and welcoming every single time. My main therapist was Joe McIntire and he is wonderful. For one session, I had Zara......she's amazing, too. The assistants are all great.......Zandra, Armando, Stuart....all of them. My main problem this time was gaining strength after back fractures. I am 81 and have osteoporosis. I was given an exercise program geared to my issues, including balancing, and have seen significant improvement over these past few weeks. I highly recommend CCPT....even if you have to drive a distance to get there. It's the best! read more

This place rocks! I've come here twice for PT now. Once a few years ago for my ankle and now for my lower back. The first time, they helped me get the range of motion back in my ankle after a bad sprain. This time, I'm working with Madison to improve my issues. She is amazing and super helpful! But really, everyone there is super friendly and professional. This is the kind of place you can trust to recommend to your mom!! read more

Special thanks to Mark, Kathleen, and all of the friendly and professional staff at Campus Commons. I am working through getting back range of motion in my broken finger that had surgery. They are determined to help and get you back to your full potential. You open the door of CCPT wounded and not sure what to expect. You are welcomed by a very knowledgeable staff that explain your insurance coverage and will later schedule your visits after you meet with a physical therapist. My physical therapist was Jack Nelson who assessed my initial needs and proceeded with a plan to start therapy. During my following visits Jack reassessed by my progress to continuously adjust treatment as I began to heal. I wish to thank Jack and all the physical therapy assistants who helped me regain my strength and mobility. The atmosphere in this facility is electric which created an environment of knowing that you will be in a better physical condition because of their expertise, caring, and friendship. Although I know there is physical therapy available closer to home I have been going to Campus Commons PT. CCPT is exceptionally well equipped and well staffed! The therapists and aides services are well coordinated. Clients reflect a mix of ages and needs. In fact, mine are pretty special but every single staffer who works with me rises to the occasion and puts me at ease...which I greatly appreciate. read more

I was originally directed to UC Davis Health PT at Point West but they were backlogged over a month and I needed to start my PT right away (and was used to being scheduled right away when I needed PT in the past). So I was offered CCPT, which was closer to home. They contacted me within 24 hours and I started PT the next week. I was assigned Joe McIntire and worked with him for almost 5 months. I can't speak highly enough of my experience. Joe is knowledgeable, compassionate and encouraging. Whenever I asked, he would educate me on my conditions, showing me anatomy images. I also worked with other therapists and assistants, and all were just as helpful. The reception staff are friendly and professional. The facility offers private rooms and an open area for therapy. I was sad to say goodbye but my condition improved to the point where I ended PT, and I have exercises/stretches that I continue to do daily. I'd recommend CCPT to anyone in Sacramento. Also, they require masks so everyone is protected from Covid. read more

Unprofessional front desk staff who cannot explain what they're collecting money for.

If you are needing physical therapy, CCPT definitely is the place to be. The physical therapists, PT assistants, and front desk staff are professional and extremely competent. Having had two hip replacements and one shoulder replacement within the last two years I can say I am back to feeling like my normal self again. I received the right type of exercises and support from the excellent therapists and PT assistants that worked with me. I am extremely grateful for the exceptional physical therapy and caring attitude of the staff that helped in my recovery. CCPT is the best! read more

I had right hip replacement surgery and needed physical therapy after the operation. Jill and other physical therapists that work there were knew their stuff and helped me improve a lot during the 8 weeks that I was there. It felt safe, since everyone wore masks, the equipment was constantly sanitized and temperatures were checked and recorded each visit. The front desk workers were friendly and helpful, too. I highly recommend Campus Commons Physical Therapy. read more

I came here a few months back for my scoliosis pain. When I first came to the clinic, I couldn't even bend or sit down without experiencing extreme pain and stiffness. I was recommended to Campus Commons Physical Therapy where I worked with Tyler who helped me strengthen my back and core which made a world of difference! Him and all the aides who helped me through workouts were all kind and helpful! If I ever have any issues that need physical therapy, I know where to go to! read more

I have been a patient of CCPT off and on over the last three years, beginning with my shoulder and ending with therapy after hip replacement. From the beginning I have had the utmost respect for this organization, especially their professionalism and patient centered care. Over the years I have experienced other PT businesses and never felt as though I was the most important person in the room. This health center focuses on diagnostics, therapy regimens, home exercise care, evaluation and growth, leading to successful healing. I cannot say enough about the supportive staff as well who at every move, encourage and lead with positive reinforcement.....Today was my last day of therapy and I truly can say, "I have moved from Wobbly to Wow!" Thank you CCPT for all the guidance and love you showed during therapy as well as the after care, at home regimen continueing my growth in healing. I am eternally grateful for all that everyone at CCPT has done for me on this healing journey! Special thanks to Madison Ho, Joe McIntire (and Zara for one session!) and the fantastic young assistants! You are the BEST! read more

I've been trying to get an appointment for my knee injury and have been getting the run around. It's going in week two of me waiting and calling as they are delayed with verification of my insurance. It's not rocket science, I have Anthem Blue Cross POO. Gave them all the information to verify and was required to repeat myself over and over again when calling. The people answering the phones are lazy. Still waiting and still suffering with a knee injury. I bet once they finally verify me it will be another two weeks to get an appointment. Meanwhile my knee is swollen and slides out of socket so painfully. Bad start so far! I'm scared now read more

Prior to coming to Campus Commons the rehabilitation for my right shoulder was at a plateau and still experiencing pain. Over the past several months, I have worked primarily with Madison and some of the other therapist at the clinic. If you are looking for a Physical Therapist in Sacramento, I would fully recommend Madison and any of the other therapists. read more

I have chronic lower back pain and have struggled for years to get relief. I have never had a real positive experience with physical therapy and was skeptical. But, my pain management doctor insisted that it be part of my treatment plan. I searched online and found Campus Commons Physical Therapy, which was across the street from my primary care physician. The front desk team is wonderful and it was easy to get in for my first appointment. I met with Mark (the owner) and he did a very thorough assessment. One challenge was that I was eight months pregnant at the time. So, I was limited as to what I could do. But, Mark completely customized a program that gave me some relief, but was safe for my baby. Mark did some manual therapy (which is like massage at targeted areas) and I did it up until I gave birth. Fast forward a few months and I'm able to do a lot more exercises and treatments. Mark is so knowledgeable, but talks to you in a way you can grasp. I am finally hopeful about physical therapy and seeing some real changes with my pain. Thanks, Mark and the rest of CCPT! read more

I couldn't be more happy! I went to Campus Commons Physical Therapy for the first time today to deal with an on going issue that I have dealt with over the years! Up until today...I have always just gone to my chiropractor to help me out, but I always feel like I am just treating the consequences and never the actual culprit! Problem being I didn't really ever know what the real culprit was! My appointment was with Mark Eddy and I can not say enough about him! He was patient, thorough, and I appreciated that he actually spent the time to try and get to the root of my issue. I could tell that he was really trying to figure "me" out. He pushed, pulled, measured, and helped me find some specific exercises to target my problem and get me running again! He gave me my exercises on little cards...that were actual color pictures of the exercises...not just drawings that are difficult to figure out that you get at other practices...and complete with a little Campus Commons carabiner. The receptionist was super friendly and overall the whole experience was top notch! I have my homework to do over the next three weeks, but I am looking forward to going back for a re-evaluation and getting back to my marathon training!! read more

I had been experiencing terrible buttocks and leg pain that prevented me from running or walking any distance, even driving and sitting hurt. My doctor referred me to Campus Commons for PT. I couldn't be more happy with my experience. Everyone from the front desk staff, the PT Assistants, and my wonderful Physical Therapist, Daimi, has been truly exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, caring, patient, kind, and supportive. Daimi quickly assessed and diagnosed me as having piriformis syndrome and directed a treatment plan that had me back on my feet and functioning in 3 months. All in all, an A+ experience! read more

I liked the place, but it is just too far away for me to travel all of the time. Thanks for the party though.

I was a patient at Campus Commons PT for months with a nagging work-related knee injury. A partially torn interior ligament was observed in a scan. The doctor's advice was to utilize PT instead of arthroscopic surgery, given my age. I worked with a series of PT's but spent the longest amount of time with Tyler. Tyler took seriously my desire to gain full recovery and was really positive when listening to my questions and concerns. He gave me exercises but also explained how those exercises would work to improve aspects of my mobility, strength and pain reduction. I dutifully completed my daily exercises and would, at the next session ask additional questions or give comments on my knee's progress. Tyler would listen, observe and evaluate. He would offer additional exercises for my therapy. Tyler would also work on knee manipulation, discerning what I was trying to describe, when it came to pain or stiffness/inflamation when exercising. Upon hearing one of my comments, Tyler examined my kneecap. He noticed that it was stuck and he worked to loosen it up. With my next question, he showed me how to manipulate it myself, including that it would be best done with the leg extended on a surface. When Tyler was working with other patients, there were a number of assistants who would be assigned to patients, instructing us as we went through our exercises, or post-exercise treatments, such as ice compression, etc. Stuart and the other assistants are really positive and want to see the patients have a very positive experience. I highly recommend Campus Commons PT. My knee is still in recovery mode, at 80-85%, but my goal is 100%. I believe I have been given the tools to keep working toward this recovery goal. read more

I came to Campus Commons following an left knee meniscectomy with a micro fracture procedure. I was a runner, snowboarder and volleyball player before the surgery and I wanted to get back to these activities. Mark and his staff made sure they focused my rehab on getting back to competitive sports and made sure I put in the work as well. The only reason I am giving this a 1 star is because Tyler is such a great physical therapist. I have had a terrible situation with Campus Commons administrative staff and I think if you are looking for PT do NOT go to this place. I had a knee replacement and am on Medicare. I had 2 sessions with Tyler and was scheduled for 18 more sessions. At 5pm last night I got a call saying there is an issue with Medicare and they canceled my appointments. Under the California Business and Professions Code, "patient abandonment" is defined as terminating patient care (1) without written notice that treatment will be discontinued, and (2) before the patient has had a reasonable opportunity to obtain the services of another physician. This code applies to physical therapists as well. I called Medicare this morning and found out that the issue is that Medicare takes up to 14 days to release a patient from home health care and I am in that 14 day window. So the solution for Campus Commons was to boot me to the street. I am shocked at the fact that this company absolutely does NOT care about patients. They care about bottom line. I got everything straightened out this morning with Medicare but I absolutely will not go back to Campus Commons and I have advised my surgeon of the situation and he is quite unhappy as well. Remember, folks, your patients are real people with health problems. I should not have been treated like I was a dollar amount. I am the victim of patient abandonment by Campus Commons, which is illegal and a violation of my patient rights. read more

I was involved in a car accident several months ago, and I have been treated at Campus Commons Physical Therapy for lower back/left buttock area with radiating pain towards my left knee and some numbness on my both upper feet! This place is terrific. I had two great therapists in the past months right before Covid, Annellise and Sarah, who unfortunately are no longer working with CCPT. However, recently I have started to continue treatment for my lower back pain and have been communicating with the owner Mark about my condition and the treatment I needed. He has been extremely responsive and attentive to my areas of pain and was able to schedule me with an amazing Physical Therapist, Dimi. I hope I spelled her name right! I believe she recently graduated from her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. She is very hard working and extremely attentive to my care. I have started doing excellent core strengthening and stretches under her supervision. I have learned so much already and most importantly to always try to control my posture and keeping my bellybutton pulled toward my spine. It is not easy, but I am doing my best every day to control that so that I protect my lower back. Dimi is also excellent on soft tissue manipulation and gives great advice on daily routines in terms of what exercise to do at home together with stretches and strengthening the core. Thank you so much Mark and Dimi and the entire staff! I feel blessed to be treated at CCPT. read more

I came to Campus Commons Physical Therapy a wreck after a ski accident. I fractured my humerous and shoulder. I was in a lot of pain and had no movement in my arm. I thought I would never be able to life my arm over my head again. After two surgeries and physical therapy at Campus Commons I now have full range. My surgeon was impressed with my progress. Because of the work with Campus Commons I was able to give him a high-five a month after my second surgery. I am forever grateful to Campus Commons Physical Therapy who never gave up. They worked with me and showed me the exercises needed to get full movement and build the strengt back in my arm. Mark and his staff are great! They are professional and have years of experience. As painful as it was at times, they made it bearable and fun and I always looked forward to my appointments. The ladies at the front desk are helpful and friendly as well. They get back to you promptly if you leave a message to reschedule or have a question.. I have been to other physical therapy businesses and this one has to be the tops in the Sacramento area. I hope never to break a bone in my body again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to gvie them a call. Hope this review helps you in your road to recovery. read more

If I could give them a minus I would. After 10 months of completing therapy, I received a bill. I had payed every time I went into the office.
