I stayed at Campus Circle for the fall semester of 2023, and despite its modern and renovated look, my experience was a complete disappointment. First off, the soundproofing is practically nonexistent. The walls are so thin that I could hear every word from my neighbors and in the hallway. Plus, the open vent above the doors means that you can hear everything happening in the kitchen, even late at night, which is incredibly disruptive.
The management was equally frustrating. Communication was a nightmare--most of my emails went unanswered, and I was left hanging when I needed assistance. The trash situation is ridiculous; there's only one trash bin for the entire complex. While they claim this is to keep the place clean and roach-free, I still encountered multiple roaches during my stay. Residents frequently left trash in the hallways because it's such a hassle to walk to the bin.
What really pissed me off the most were the late-night parties from my neighbors. Despite multiple complaints to the office, the noise continued. They eventually stopped, but I never received any updates about how the situation was handled. To make matters worse, the neighbors had a dog that barked incessantly, often for 15 minutes at a time (multiple times per hour) and even in the middle of the night. When I reached out to the management for help, their response was: "They paid their fees; dogs bark; that's what they do. I don't know what you want us to do about it". They could at least have talked to the residents about it.
Ultimately, I was so happy to get out of my lease, even though I had to pay a fee to cancel it. Once you sign a lease, it feels like the management shifts their focus entirely. There seems to be little regard for the residents' experiences or well-being after the lease is signed. This lack of attention can make living here frustrating and unfulfilling. I strongly advise anyone considering living at Campus Circle to think twice. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere! read more
