The staff and owners are wonderful, so very nice! Nobody bothers you and there is so much to do nearby! Each cabin has different amenities and we have never been disappointed with our accommodations. Our first cabin had a bath, 2 double beds, a small kitchen and table. Our second had a fireplace, bath, double bed (no kitchen or fridge but we stayed for 3 days so a cooler was easy) and with outdoor grills and picnic tables, you can cook there or go nearby for some great food and drink! Our third was in front of the pool (probably our least favorite) it was next to a motel strip of rooms, had a bed and a bath) again a 3 night visit so it was fine for that! This time a whole week in the Hilltop! 2 beds, nice bath, medium fridge, perfect for the week. Recommend to anyone! Singles, couples, families! You can't go wrong!

The staff was very nice and the cabins were VERY clean and had maid service which I didn't expect. The only issues I had was our cabin didn't have a fridge and the location, everything around it seemed to be shut down. There is a Stewart's shop and gas station down the street which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin we selected included a queen bed, a table for two, a small kitchenette, bathroom, and AC. The outdoor space was really the highlight, featuring hanging lights, a picnic table, a firepit with three bundles of wood, and a hammock. Check-in was done virtually, with a code texted to your phone. When we entered the cabin, we were greeted with a personal note, a box to store away phones, and a snack package that included a s'mores kit. The cabin itself was small but had all the essentials. They really encourage disconnecting from technology. There's no TV, and they provide a designated box to put your phones away so you can be more present in nature. That said, I was happy to see there is Wi-Fi available if you need it. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the firepit and relaxing in the hammock. It felt peaceful, cozy, and different from our usual getaways. This was a completely novel experience for us and one we would absolutely do again!

We enjoyed the old movie and music theme in this updated prior rectory. After spending the last several years of travel in hotels and Airbnb's, we have come to remember how personal and inviting B&Bs are. This particular one, however, is one of the best. The BB is two blocks from Warren Street for quick access to restaurants and shops. There is also a retail shop on Warren Street where you can spot many of the unique items from the house. The shop is very well curated. We stayed in Room 5 which has a private deck off the room that my husband used every morning and evening. It's the room with the beautifully updated blue bathroom. The only thing missing from the room and the bathroom was brighter light - our eyes no longer perform as well in dim lighting! We spent most of the mornings and afternoons on several hikes throughout the area - all of them peaceful and beautiful. The waterfalls at the end were stunning.

The breakfasts in the morning were banging yummy. The rooms were quiet, quaint and well appointed. Great bathroom products and the bedding was super. There is absolutely no other place with better value. As seen in all other reviews, Barry could not be a better host. He gave us detailed recommendations on everything we asked for, and even called a bar, Helsinki, to check if there were any tables left as this place has minimal standing room (only he knew this as he is the expert on everything in town). Then, again we booked last-minute train tickets back home and gave him just 20 minutes notice. Barry insisted on making us breakfast-to-go and driving us to the train station there even though we had time to walk. In just 5 minutes, Barry made us the most savory yet simple sandwich (which was the topic of conversation for part of the train ride back.) His breakfast was the best meal we had during our entire weekend in Hudson - 100% fact. Eating breakfast outside on the porch was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip. Location is walking distance from the best shopping and food in Hudson, as well as Amtrak. If anyone else is looking, this is the only place I'd recommend.

The communal lodge area is especially welcoming, featuring a cozy fireplace, billiards, board games, and multiple seating options. Amenities include a sauna and a pool, both of which were not in service at the time. The ice rink was available, and we did enjoy the s'mores on the west deck in the evening. Our room was simple but very cozy, with mountain views and a balcony. However, the room did not have a fridge or microwave. I also appreciated that the hotel is dog-friendly and offers a Pupstar package. There is a restaurant and bar on site, but prices were high. Dining options in the area were limited during the off-season weekdays, which made this a bit challenging for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the amenities we were able to experience. Carlos at the front desk provided outstanding customer service every interaction and was extremely helpful. Even though a few things were unavailable, the property itself is lovely, and we would consider returning when all amenities are open and the local area is more lively.

My husband and I have stayed here twice in the past five months, and it's easily my absolute favorite spot in the area. One of the best features: it's located right across the street from Hunter Mountain, making it a perfect option for any skiers hoping for convenient and comfortable lodging. The lodge's common area is warm and inviting, centered around a large fireplace. Whether you're relaxing with a drink from the downstairs bar, enjoying a pool game, or sitting at the bigger tables for some takeout or board games with friends, the atmosphere is always lively and fun. Downstairs, the Prospect restaurant is top-notch. We've enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there, and honestly, everything on the breakfast menu is fantastic. If you want excitement, comfort, and amazing food on your mountain escape, Scribner's Catskill Lodge is the place to be!

(If you advertise the rewards and include it in your surveys, you should follow through). Regarding the room, everything was clean EXCEPT the shower curtain. It was so stained yellow that you can tell it's been a while since it was cleaned or even replaced. Also the tub did not drain so that was kinda gross.
