Got another excuse about ice surrounding the mailboxes which is not my responsibility to care for. It's the parks responsibility.. so I was told to give them a couple of hours and then go pick up my package. I get to the post office. Oh, I can't find it. I said to them I called you guys at 9:15 and I said I would come and get my package. Oh well the woman didn't have look for it yet. What was the response thet I got. Apparently the post people deliver when they want to because I had a stack of mail dated September October just a few weeks ago whole big pile and the postmaster does not a damn thing about it not even close..

Just recently started having problems with this post office where mail isn't being delivered. This wasn't the first time it's happened, it happened a week ago as well. The excuse given is that my neighbor has a few dogs who are out on the property, so they won't deliver mail to my address for that reason. The dogs are not aggressive and are super friendly, and all the carrier has to do is place mail into the mail box on the side of the road without leaving the vehicle. But no, they won't do that. They are outright refusing to deliver mail.

There is a sandy beach below this great bridge with lots of sand bars to walk along up the river. There are shallow spots but also a section that is really deep. The highlight is the rope swing under the bridge. There's always a line of people waiting to swing off into the water.

The reflection of the covered bridge in the lake, with the white snow as a blank canvas in front of it, was beautiful. And I really like the name of the property where it resides: Jack-o'-lantern resort. Would probably be great for a walk around during peak leaf time. New Hampshire has about 60 covered bridges and I only hit four. Gonna have to come back.
