I was very disappointed in salesman James Render. We stopped in after going to the Boat & RV show. We asked to look at some toy haulers and I gave him a list of what I was looking for and our budget. He ignored pretty much everything I told him. Then when I got frustrated at his lack of listening to my "list" he assured me that he understood what we were looking for. He told me that he would send me videos of some RV's from other dealerships. I expressed my concerns at buying a camper that I couldn't walk thru. He assured me that he would send me videos of campers that fit what we were looking for and if I liked them he could have them shipped to his dealership for me to do a walkthrough. I told him that would work. It's been 3 weeks and I have sent him 3 messages asking for updates on when he would be sending me some videos. What I have gotten back is nothing. No response to my calls or emails. I guess this is the level of customer service I should expect from a Camping World/Ganger Mountain dealership. I've heard stories and from the looks of it, they were spot on for poor customer service. It would seem that I have fellow toy hauler owners who feel the same way. This company brought me a camper that was not working on day one. I was told that someone would call me back and it took almost 3 weeks for someone to even call me. I was then told someone from their service department would be out to fix my camper, that again was not usable from day one. I took off two days of work for the tech guys to come and all I got was ghosted. I then call Phil Durham - sales manager for him to act like there is no problem and somehow this is my fault. This is the worst company I have ever worked with so buyer beware. This guy Phil will lie to you at every opportunity. I asked him about my time and he stated "so what I'm hearing is somehow you want me to reimburse you". I told him well my time is valuable and he stated " that's great but I don't owe you anything " . Then he said I basically need to shut up and listen to him. Bought rv at Tulsa Boat and Travel show- weren't allowed to leave without getting Good Sam extended warranty- literally every salesman from trainee to senior salesperson insisted we had to have it. I don't feel extended warranties are worth it but we were basically held there and finally, in desperation, agreed. Unfortunately, my husband's health and flooded campgrounds kept us from camping til October. It rained and water ran down the walls. The toilet leaked so bad we had to leave the water turned off until we needed a shower or dishes cleaned. I would run outside in cold rain, turn water on, run inside while husband showered and dump bowl of water leaking from toilet every 2-3 minutes. Then he did the same for me. We thought "no problem ". We have an amazing extended warranty. Nope, roof warranty for 90 days. $1600. to reseal the roof. Other repairs are covered, thank goodness. In conclusion, we are a senior couple deeply disappointed with Campingworld and their hard sell tactics of a worthless warranty. Shame on you. read more

My EV was purchased here with an add on of a lithium ion battery. Shortly after my alarm started going off and things stopped working. This was 3 weeks after purchase. They said the battery is not compatible with my unit and wanted me to pay for a replacement. I said if the unit was not compatible why wasn't I told at sale or pickup? Their sales said well it was my fault for requesting it and they were just doing what I asked so not their problem and they were not going to cover it under warranty. After my husband gave them a piece of of mind the service manager helped to get a swap for free and waive the service fee. I give kudos to the service manager for that. Recently I've been using mobile techs instead and they told me the battery I have is not great and pretty cheap. Of course it is! I don't recommend buying from them. We purchased a new RV, well we thought it was new. Turns out it sat on their lot for a year before we bought it. During that time none of the suggested roof inspections were performed. We purchased it in February and during the first rain storm in March we noticed a leak. I have been rounds with Camping World about getting it repaired and have been told I have to take it to a store that sells this brand to service it. Either take an insured and reputable mobile RV tech with you to do an inspection or shop elsewhere. read more

I do not recommend doing any business at Tulsa RV Campworld. My first, and last, experience at Campworld in Tulsa was when I viewed a 14 year old diesel pusher motorhome. As we viewed the motor home, the low air pressure warning light and audible alarm continued to remain on even though the primary and secondary air pressure systems were at 120 psi. There was evidence of something leaking on the radiator fins which doesn't seem right on a vehicle with only 13,000 miles. Even though they don't have the proper skills to perform repairs, I was still considering purchasing the motorhome. Our situation had changed and we couldn't complete the purchase which enraged the customer service staff. We liked the 2008 Gulf Stream Cresendo and, we prematurely placed a deposit on the motorhome. We were not informed the deposit wasn't refundable and we did not sign any documents. The service manager, lacking any professionalism and rasing his voice to me, stated that to prep the vehicle would cost over $1000.00 because their shops hour labor rate is $199.00 per hour so they weren't going to refund our deposit. This I find is unacceptable. They will take our $1000.00 then the next person that purchases it will pay to have the vehicle prepped again, which sounds like scam to me. They want to charge me for work on a vehicle that I do not own. I don't like the idea of paying to have a vehicle prepared for another purchaser. I want my $1000.00 deposit. I will never do any business with RV Campworld anywhere. If the Tulsa location has this kind of customer service, I do not want to do business with them. I will purchase a motorhome from a reputable dealer. Upon reading some of these reviews it is apparent we are not the only ones that have suffered these high pressure angry tactics. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you have 10 to 15 sales people standing around, playing on their phones, vaping, and going outside to smoke cigarettes while you have one retail sales person, hustling and bustling around this place to check out retail customers. I have waited just over a month to see if my issues would be resolved. If you are considering buying please read this review! The buying experience: My sales guy was Toby. Looking at units was little disorganized and had trouble finding any of the units we wanted to look at it. The big red flag that almost had me walking out was when we sat down to talk numbers on the unit we wanted. I don't recall the exact numbers but will round them up. The price of the unit on website listed at 21k Toby explained and tried to justify there was a $1600 freight fee, $800 prep fee, $200 doc fee and I told him no way I'm doing this. BAIT & SWITCH! He talked to his boss and came in and said he was busy with other deals so we had to wait. They eventually waived the freight fee but still had to pay a prep & doc fee. They say prep fee is to cover cleaning, inspection and a tech will show me everything on the unit and how it works. I could understand paying a fee for the tech showing me how everything works but shouldn't it be cleaned and inspected regardless? But yet they charge the customer. There was a damaged piece above refrigerator that I noted to Jamie & Zachary. I was promised they would order the trim. They never told Toby or Brook about it, it never got ordered. Service Department: I was told I needed a brake controller. They didn't explain to me the charges all they did was say it was $443.43 they folded the receipt and put it in my folder. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they overcharged me for the part, they charged me $97.50 to plug in the Bluetooth controller, the tech had me download the app and didn't even show me how it worked or would help me set it up because he said they can't be liable for any issues if he did it wrong. So what did I pay for? I also was charged shop supplies and environmental fees. Neither Toby nor the service department could tell me what was used or why they said that's charged on every service ticket. Toby promised a refund with no labor and the difference of the online price of the brake controller. It took Toby & Brook almost a month to give me a partial refund. They finally sent a check because they couldn't refund the credit card used. The check they sent was short by $62.89. I emailed Brook the general manager a week ago explaining they made a mistake. I have not received an email or call. Camping world has communication issues, and they do not follow through on promises. They're so quick to contact you to make a sale but super slow to respond when you have an issue. I have contacted corporate office and will see if they're willing to help me. read more

Left an earlier review on the start of our problems with camping world about 10 months ago. Since that review we have continued to deal with the wrath of the service department. Leaking window seals continue despite the service department saying they have fixed them. Recently we had a major water leak under the kitchen cabinets near water pump and under the bathroom since. Got called multiple times by service saying they fixed it only to arrive at the dealership, plug it up to water with the service rep right next to me and watch it leak. Also the service department, during the "fix", broke the city water connection inlet and didn't realize it. So left the camper there another couple of weeks. Got called saying that the leaks were fixed again only to show up and the new city inlet that they had installed got broke upon install. Nothing was put back together and old parts were left in the underbelly along with all the loose screws. Showed service manager and only got a sorry for inconvenience. They spent a hour replacing it while I stood there. Called the CEO complaint department and they sent me a $250 check and told me to take a year off from visiting the dealership. Hooked the camper up at my house to make sure it didn't leak before taking it out camping and lo and behold the space under the kitchen cabinets flooded with water. Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today so we will see how it goes from here! read more

Making sure we knew what we wanted and still worked with us when we weren't ready to by a trailer. She had the best sales talk and would let us know what was good. She never held anything back and was always up front about what we were looking for. We were literally only staying in Tulsa and only looking at camping world because we knew we wanted to buy from Morgan. So finding out she got fired when we were ready is just ridiculous. This place is already under a microscope for doing sketchy stuff. Your camper will be depreciated by 5k if you have a dog at Camper World In Tulsa..Dustin at Tulsa's Camper World was quite frank on why our site unseen camper was valued 5k less was because of a 20 week old imported European Great Dane that had a dog sitter watching him while I worked..so in no way was our camper compromised by a 20 week old puppy that had been in my camper 12 weeks.. But the original camper they showed us the slides were taped at the top, not repaired correctly, the furniture was gross, and it smelled horrible. So he showed us a new one, and yes we fell in love. I had a video of our trade in and explained we would be bring it into town in a week, and we had an issue with the title but it would be fixed before trade in. But we were curious what our trade in was, our camper is a 2006 Coachman Somerset 341, with a washer/dryer 5 slides..she is a big girl anyway, we were lowballed. Because I am a Good Sams member I inquired the value of our camper and it was valued 7k-14k higher. Then we recieved a call from Rilee at Tulsa Camper world, stating they would offer us 5 k more than when we talked to Dustin with a trade in. When I emailed Dustin in reference to this, his explanation was we wanted to keep our furniture (that was on the old unit we seen because the furniture was gross, and I wanted to switch the mattresses in the new model because I just bought a 3 k dollar mattress and wanted to keep it over the flattened cheap mattress on the new model.) Meanwhile forward on with my story. We were also depreciated because of our DOG!! Our 20 week old imported European Great dane was the reason it was depreciated, no damage to camper. No stains! New leather furniture (not because old furniture was bad but because I like leather furniture). I won't be back. As a Covid ICU traveling ICU RN, I was highly disappointed at the unprofessionalism that was shown to my husband and I. We are farmers, my husband is a engineer at Tulsa airport and I have a Masters degree in Business and in Hospital administration, but I chose to start traveling for our ICU Covid pts due to the overwhelming workload on our Healthcare professionals. My husband and I are separated for months on end, so to hear a dog stood in the way of an appropriate appraisal set us both on our heels. I went to two other RV dealers, on Admiral Place, before heading to Camping World. One had no motorhomes. The second had some motorhomes, but no one in the office wore a mask and the salesman moved toward me even though I was clearly trying to social distance. When I said I was interested in renting before buying he suggested that I could buy one and sell it later as an alternative to renting, a ridiculous alternative. Camping World was entirely different, it had a huge show room of RV supplies, was large and well lit and as soon as I walked in I was welcomed by a sales person wearing a mask, as was every one else working there. Matt was very helpful, gave me some resources for renting Class B&C motorhomes and showed me a couple on their lot, new and used. He wasn't pushy, but clarified my expectations and timeline. We purchased a Quatum Thor in 2020 new took it on one trip and due to a medical issue haven't been able to take another trip til this past month. On the trip a camera quit working, door going into bedroom will not shut or open, valve stem on tire is loose, on the way home the trim came out of the track and scratched the side of the RV. We had purchased the extended warrant, tire coverage and paint coverage what they called bumper to bumper. We picked up today NOTHING was covered and they charged a diagnostic fee on every issue. When we asked again and again what the warranties were for the service manager Jason told my husband end of conversation. I have found most everyone at Tulsa Camping World to be very friendly, helpful and personable. I have a very vintage 1994 Roadtrek for which they have had all the parts in stock for needed repairs. Cierra found some online manuals for my furnace and generator and even printed them for me. Some say their prices are high, but they do match their online prices and competitor's prices and many of their items are actually less than I could find anywhere else. With the Good Sam membership you get better prices and a lot of perks that make it a no brainer to me, and I'm a penny pincher! They also have a new service manager who is working to make sure customers get the kind of service they expect. Tulsa, OK camping world Was needing a fifth wheel hitch installed. Called and spoke with Larry. Told him that I need the fifth wheel hitch, trailer brake control, and a trailer light connector in the bed. I was quoted 1488 and some change installed. Fifth wheel hitch was ordered 7/2/19 and I paid a thousand dollars down. On 7/16/19, I called to check and see when it would be in for the installation. I was informed I would have to call back the next day when Larry was there. I tried to call all day on 7/17/19 and finally got parts around 530 that evening and Larry had already went home. I called on 7/18/19 and was hung twice. I then called back and asked to talk to a manager and was hung up on again. I call again and was told that they were all in a meeting. I drove over from Claremore that morning and had to make a scene to get them to get a manager. Brent came out and took me into his office. He looked at the quote and stated that the hitch was in and they could get me scheduled on the following Tuesday. I asked if the 488 was all that it was going to cost. He informed me that I did not have the trailer light plug in the bed on the quote. He added a 80 dollar part and 60 dollar installation fee which is 140 dollars with 10% tax it would be 154 dollars. The quote went from 1488 to around 1780 which is well over the price he added. I asked for my money back as I could get it installed at another facility for 1550. Brent stated that he would work on the price and get back with me. I went home and he called at 5pm that night and stated that he would split the difference with me and do it for 1680. I told him again that I would take my money back. He said to give him a little bit and he would call me back. He called back and said that he had changed the rails and now he can install it for 1580. I said ok schedule it. I went over on 7/22/19 to drop off the truck for installation the next day. The lady was shielding the quote, and I asked to view it. She handed it to me and it was back to the 1680. I then asked for my money back. The lady stated that I would have to go talk to the front desk. I went to talk to the front desk and was told that the could not refund my money without a manager's consent. I requested to call. She tried to put it off again and i sternly stated. "Do you not have Brent's cell number." She then admitted to having it. I stated, "call him and get the authorization." She finally called and then refunded my money. I would not recommend this place to no one. Wouldn't return calls they knew we was approved for 25 we have 7 down well told us the camper was 28 wouldn't be a issue right?! Well I started looking into it they was charging us about 34.... So duh we won't be approved!!! Told us on Monday they call us by Wednesday that week we called and called no return calls then when called the last was asking when we could move it and stuff off lot like we got it that was Friday morning said they call that day but maybe Monday.... Well Monday evening we called no return call then Tuesday we called they finely called stating we didn't get the camper said hey just found out but that morning at 8am I checked the sight it wasn't pending anymore.... Hmmm but just found out?! Well that day I went to a bank got financed and bought a better camper somewhere else with no hassle!
