I was later called a second time and told that my tires were in and that I could bring my vehicle in. I explained that I had already been contacted and that my vehicle was already at the store. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I found it running unattended in the parking lot. More concerning, the original tires were still on the vehicle and the new tires had not been installed. As I started walking back into the store, Ronni, the sales associate, approached me and asked if everything was okay. I explained that my vehicle had been left running and unattended and that the original tires were still on it. I requested to speak with a manager. Initially, Ronni could not locate a manager. Shortly afterward, a manager approached me and said he remembered me because he was the person who had called to let me know that my tires had arrived. He offered to refund me for the alignment. I questioned how it was possible for a $1,300 set of tires not to have been installed on my vehicle. I also expressed my concern that, had I not personally checked the tires, I would have had no way of knowing whether the new tires had actually been installed. The manager stated that he would have to investigate and said that he would have realized the tires had not been installed when he ran his reports at the end of the day. At this point, I had already been waiting approximately two and a half hours, even though I was originally told the installation would take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I requested that my vehicle be given priority. The store manager was kind and professional and told me that he would reimburse me for the alignment and the certificates associated with the tires. However, he then handed me a set of keys that did not belong to my vehicle. At that point, I had to question how I could have confidence that the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. If the store could not ensure that the correct tires were installed and could not even provide me with the correct keys to my vehicle, I was understandably concerned about whether the installation and any other work had been performed properly. Overall, this experience has been extremely concerning and frustrating. I paid $1,300 for a new set of tires and expected my vehicle to be handled professionally and safely. Instead, my vehicle was left running unattended, the tires were not initially installed, I was given the wrong vehicle keys, and I was left questioning whether the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. I believe these concerns warrant a thorough review and an explanation of what happened.
