We rolled in just as they were about to close, in full panic mode. Our RV desperately needed a new cord adapter so we could power up (most importantly: the A/C) at our campsite. With only 30 minutes to spare, we called ahead, they were super friendly on the phone and confirmed they had exactly what we needed. We rushed over, grabbed the adapter (only $13...score!), and avoided what would've been a very sweaty, very grumpy camping experience. We purchased a new fifth wheel almost 3 weeks ago. We drove all the way from Texas because this dealership had the specific Alliance Avenue model we wanted. During the walk-through, we noticed a "gash" on some of the trim. We were promised it wouldn't be a problem getting it fixed, and they would order the part and get it shipped to a Camping World in Texas and we could drop the trailer off. We called our local Camping World and they are not able to do the repair because of "franchise laws." We have made multiple attempts via phone calls and direct text to Camping World N Little Rock to follow up. We have been met with, "I'll get the service department to call you" to now being ghosted by the dealership. Salesman, Josh...you talked a good talk. Now follow up as you promised. Dropped off my RV for repair caused by a camping world in NMB. Dropped it off in April 24. Due to parts delayed they had until August 2024. They up sold me to do some work on my roof.... They got that done....but... long story short didn't fix the original issue. Eventually DM threatened to file a lien on it. Their corp office had it delivered to the Sherwood branch. They fixed the original issue and got me done in about a week. Nov 24 by the way. Several other things were not addressed and they lost my 300.00 surge protector... but at least I got it back 5k and a lot of trouble later. Don't believe that 1700 quote. read more

We traded our smaller camper for a larger one. The first time we used it the Slide got stuck. Took it back to camping world to get it repaired. We had the warranty so was no cost to us. Having heard the horror stories related to Camping World, I must admit when I went there to purchase a new RV that only they carried (Salem FSX 163RDSK), I did so with a degree of trepidation. Robert Mills was my salesman, he was courteous, informed, and upfront and Kevin Berkheimer (the finance guy) was knowledgeable and straight forward. I paid cash, got close to my asking price and was not berated with up-charges and other underhanded practices that some people claim to have experienced. Remember, Robert and Kevins job is to maximize profit for their business, your job as the buyer is to be as informed as possible and be willing to walk away if your not satisfied with the deal. I was pleased with the deal we made and would return in the future if I decide to upgrade. I cannot comment on thier service department since I havnt had need of thier services but would strongly suggest that you take the negative comments with a grain of salt...you will always run across that 10% that don't act right but all in all I'm very pleased with these folks and recommend both the business and the above mentioned men. We bought our Heartland Camper back in late 2022. We love the camper itself. Heartland Mallard. Nothing big but a lot of money no less. The actual sales process was not too bad. After the sale. Ridiculously bad. They let us take our camper after a brief walkthrough. I got home and was excited to go in and look things over. Found out the Battery was hooked up backwards and blew the main fuses on the way home. Luckily, the camper has the 40-amp fuses and it did not burn it down. The camper did not have the spart tire bracket or tire mounted on it that it was supposed to have. I contacted them and they said they would provide one. Next time I was in Little Rock, I live a little over 2 hours away, I picked up a bracket and spare tire. We took it camping the first time for Labor Day weekend. Sink was leaking from the bottom seal. Shower surround was loose at the bottom. Missing a handle to pull and drain the black tank. Cable TV wire was bad internally and would not work. Trim was all coming loose from section near the bed area. No rubber washers in the water hookups and it leaked everywhere until I went to buy some while camping. Closet door in bathroom would not stay latch screws were stripped. Why would they not check things out prior to letting campers go out the door? I can tell you why. They really do not care the sale was made. So, when I told them all this, they said bring it in we will work on getting it under warranty. We took it in, and it was there for close to 2.5 months. Finally, we got to pick it up. They brought it around and let me go look at the fixes. Trim was not repaired. Surround was not repaired correctly. They told me it was made cheap it just does that. REALLY? WTF. AFTER 2.5 MONTHS! I went to hook up the camper to my truck and the hitch would not work. The battery was missing they had no clue where it would be. Had to give me a new Battery. Then the spare tire. They had it 2.5 months. They had the bracket and spare tire both. The installed the bracket but not the tire. So, I was sick of standing in the pouring rain and waiting I said I would put the spare on myself. I had had it. Now I get home and the spare tire still does not fit the bracket. Why in the world would they not install the spare tire or at a minimum make sure it fit? Now I call and they never call back. I sent pictures of it not fitting and so far no call back. Been another 3 weeks. This is seriously the most ridiculous customer service I have ever experienced. Except for when they want to make a sale. After that they could care less. NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE PERIOD. There are other dealers that have to be better. NONE could be worse. read more

This is going to be a long post but necessary to prevent others from similar experiences with Camping World. Our experience has been with Camping World/Rv's.com in Sherwood and the corporate offices. Our contact with corporate has been Karla. `1. Do not purchase-we experienced so much deceit with no effort to make it right. 2. Check their Better Business Bureau Rating and reviews online. There are facebook groups with horror stories you can join. 3. We were deceived in purchasing a warranty. They only presented 4 options which did not include a "no warranty" option. They finally reimbursed us after multiple attempts to call, drop in, and email. They sent us the wrong form at least 2 times. 4. They lied and said the bank required 3k down. We called the bank today. They denied this and said it was not a part of the deal. They were appalled and basically said we should push the dealership because that was wrong 5. We called the DMV today after we were told that we had to finance the sales tax due to COVID policies-sounds nuts now but we believed it. The DMV was wondering what business and said they did not have this policy and did not require that 6. They split my husband and I up during the process stating they had to hurry because they were closing and corporate no longer allowed them to stay past 7. They refuse to show us this policy in writing. 7. They required us to purchase Good Sam insurance and hovered over my husband while he had them on the phone. This was the night before we got the RV so we could have purchased through someone else 8. We were told when we asked about other financing options we received in the mail that they weren't disclosed to us because they required 3k more down and 3% higher. We asked for this documentation which they refused to give. They said they are not obligated to give us this information. 9. Again there are some discrepancies on the purchase receipt with discounts and MSPR. 10. We called corporate to speak to someone other than the dealership and Karla. Lupe said I could only talk to them. She tried to transfer me to the dealership during open hours. They did not answer. She would not put in writing that I could only talk to those two people. 11. At one point they offered to meet with the dealership and someone in corporate. We said we wanted everything in writing for transparency among both parties. Karla never responded. The lack of transparency and documentation provided is so concerning. We have asked 3 other lawyers who agree they committed fraud, coercion, and bad faith practices. The attorney general even recommended with seek an attorney. They took advantage of our ignorance on the issues. We hope to come to a resolution. Any advice? Please spread the word! We called to set up an appointment and the receptionist would not let my husband set up an appointment. She said, "They would call him back." They never called. I called and asked for the service department and set up and appointment for full service: oil change, tires checked, fluids topped off, RV overhead air conditioner filter, propane check, generator check. Appointment was set for 9:30 the next morning. My husband took it in and was the second RV in. It took them more than two hours to take it back for service and it took nearly four hours for them to do an oil change and charged us $178. They did not do any of the additional checks we asked for them to do at all. 30+ employees walking around not working and not willing to help customers. My family members have also had multiple bad experiences with the company. They will never get any of our business ever again. We would never recommend. They are lazy, take forever and expensive. read more

If there had been just one or two bad experiences, we would have chalked them down to just poor experience for those customers specifically. But, all these poor reviews? Where there's smoke, there is fire. This company is a joke when it comes to good business practices after a customer has purchased such high-priced RVs from them. Once you purchase, your usefulness and consideration are gone. I say this because these people promised to fix some of the things bad in our home and never called. A part we needed was supposed to have been ordered. After two months of waiting, we called them only to be informed it had never been ordered. Our refrigerator failed, our stove was defective, and so on.... Never have we ever had such a post-purchase that was this bad and neglectful. my husband and I just purchased our first camper, a 2022 coleman light. it started as a good experience, however when we came back to pickup the camper the battery on it was completely drained. it took from the time they opened (we were the first there) until past 2 PM for them to fix a brake wire and replace the battery (the batter they drained somehow). they tried to give us the dead battery after it was charged a bit, however we requested a new battery to go with the new camper since it was not our fault that it was drained. it took much convincing for them to give us a new battery. horrible experience that could have been a nice time. read more

I needed a hitch, they didn't have in stock and apparently couldn't get any quicker than I could with etrailer online. The guy said he can call someone he knew and see if they had one. He says it can be in tomorrow, great, how much? Over $1900, after I told him I could have gotten off etrailer for 1385. I am from here and know where to go and fortunately went somewhere else, paid 1500 after tax. Why a $500 mark up on an item you couldn't get Camping World? Buyer beware. My wife and I bought a brand new fifth-wheel RV a month ago. In that time, we've spent exactly 2 days camping. There were several issues that required attention, so we took it back to Camping World for service. That was about 3 weeks ago. I've had to call multiple times to try to find out what the status was for our repairs. Called the service department 3 days in a row and had to leave messages. Asked for someone to please return my call and let me know what was going on. Finally, on the 4th day, we got a call letting us know that our brand new RV, required further service and replacement of parts. Haven't heard a word since. Before we bought, we'd been warned about Camping World. We should have listened and read all the reviews. We'll know better, next time. read more

We were just looking. We've never owned a camper, so we were getting ideas on floor plans, size, hookups, etc. The salesman, who was very attentive and seemed to understand that, lost sight of it pretty quick. We were given a quote, even after I was straight forward about our timeline, since we were at least a good month away from actually making a purchase. We had to other things to think about such as parking and protection on our homeplace. Although the salesman replied several times with "I gotcha" regarding OUR timeline and projected buy date....it really meant nothing to him. And that's a shame, because we were truly impressed on the front end. We were given a price. My husband and I stepped outside to discuss and the salesman came out with the DEAL OF THE CENTURY...The price quoted would now include brake and sway and other small add ons.. "Let's make this happen today" he said. Seemed like something we might consider...until...they brought the paperwork out to us and there it was...almost $4000.00 on top of quoted price. I expected about $1500 over, but not nearly $4000.00. My husband and I discussed our experience all the way home, and the next day we asked them discard the paperwork. So, note to sales department: Please have a little respect for a perspective buyer's time line. Had we not felt pushed and pressured to make a decision 'today' and quite frankly fibbed to on the back end, we might have returned to buy that new camper. I get sales...but what shuts me down quicker than anything is exactly what happened that day. No respect for a person saying "We are a month away...we are not buying today"..that didn't fit their quota. The sales guy was cool, funny, and personable...just so locked in on the sale, that it cost him one. So, we will eventually buy a camper, but it will on our terms, and our timeline, and unfortunately, not from Camping World. Matter of fact, I'm leery of salespersons altogether (once again) and may purchase from a private seller. Tents aren't that bad. read more

I bought a new Winnebago Porto 24P on July 25, 2020 from Camping World, Little Rock, AR. Unfortunately they must have done a very poor final inspection and did not check for the condition of the seals around the skylights. Apparently the seals are severely cracked and the net effect is that I have a good amount of water coming in during today's storm on August 4, 2020. I am pretty upset about this and I am now trying to get this fixed but needless to mention having water once entered the roofing system won't lead to a positive story. I will take the necessary action against Camping World, since this is gross negligence on their side. Update 08/04/2020: Service tells me they inspect the vehicles before delivery and it was not leaking and something must have happened. I have pictures of the seals with wide open gaps and I don't think this happened magically over the last 10 days. This will be a big hassle now especially when we wanted to use the RV this month for some vacation. read more

We recommend this Camping World for repair work on a higher end coach. This is our report in why we make this recommendation. We bought a new Winnebago View in Ohio in 2018 and we take good care of it. During a cross country trip a deer ran into our Winnebago View on December 12 2019 and we drove it to the nearest Winnebago Dealer. The RV was repaired at Camping World of North Little Rock Arkansas. Mark Harmon, the Service Manager, scheduled the work and coordinated the services. Repair work was performed 2 weeks earlier than promised and it was coordinated with our Insurance Company, Progressive. Note that the work was done during Christmas and New Year holiday period. I expected a delay based on Murphy's law but this was not the case. Mark and his service team did an excellent job communicating the work progress with regular updates in writing via email and phone on a weekly basis. We are delighted with the way this work was performed by Camping World and especially how work status reports were communicated to us in a timely fashion. All of the RV repairs and body work was excellent except for item 1 below . Blake who handled the delivery was very attentive to our requests and he made sure item 1 below was corrected promptly. I did not bring up item 2 and I swept up the debris myself. Most important is how delighted we were with the excellent quality of auto body work done in house. (Worth repeating!) However we not completely delighted because of these 2 issues: 1. Electric wire feed to power mirrors and windows was severed during body work on driver door. Workers and/or supervisors should have checked the electric in the driver door before delivery. We didn't check the electric ourselves before departing. So we discovered that power windows and mirrors could not be operated after driving 10 miles and by this time it was after the shop's closing time. We had to return the next morning (a busy work day) so Camping World could fix the severed wire and this was repaired quickly. 2- Crew did not sweep the floor inside the RV before delivery. We recommend this Camping World for service if RVs. read more

From the beginning was horrible and red flags being raised. This started in FEBRUARY. Our sales man didn't care, didn't wanna go above and beyond just wanted everything handed to him didn't want to work. Didn't explain anything to us. Wouldn't talk to me only my husband. Told him what our bottom dollar would be with gap included and extended warranty and came back with a higher number. I said no something doesn't feel right the fiance guy said okay thats fine and hung up. We had already given our trade in title to them so my husband calls back he gets ahold of Steve, Steve tried to make it right and got our payment where we were comfortable. Thinking at this point its gonna get better... NOPE. We go to get our camper and finish paper work I tell my husband to make sure he reads everything and our salesman laughs.... RUDE! Then my mother in law and father in law referred us so she asked our salesman about getting that gift card he said who was referred? Like seriously hello, us!!! He writes her name, number, and address down tells her she's should have it within a week. Okay moving on we get in our camper do the walk through of course there are things that needs to be fixed we knew that would happen going in. We go to lock everything to leave and we have NO KEY!!!! SMH. I had to get the title of the old camper in my name so I was waiting on that and realized I haven't gotten my paper work to get the camper registered so I call and the finance dept was SUPPOSED to call me and tell me they wouldn't send it till they received the title but Noone ever told me that. So I wait to bring it when we get the work done on our camper. I also ask about why mother in law still hasn't received her gift card? Was never turned in... again Finance. STEVE sent it and we received it in 2 days. We get there to pick the camper back up. Noone knows about the key situation. We had to wait an additional hour to have people FIND a key for our camper. 2 weeks later we still haven't received our paper work. We go camping Friday. They over night the paper work again in my head im thinking FINALLY. NOPE. FEDEX requires a signature. Noone told us this we both work! Husband leaves a note on the door with his signature. Lol guess that's good enough we get to the revenue office and we have to pay an additional 84.00 again we were told all we would have to pay is for the tags. This has been a headache, nightmare, and will Never ever ever refer someone to camping world if there looking. I should have stopped before it started and went somewhere else so shame on me. Noone is even trying to make it right or do I feel anyone cares. Other than Steve but he is ONLY ONE PRRSON he can't do it all. It's not fair I wonder who else they are screwing over. Someone needs to say something and get this fixed! I have pictures date and time stamped. There is so much wrong with this camper. We have only used it 2 times. This last time we took it up there there were 30 sticky notes with multiple things on each sticky note. Now they are stating they will not be fixing the "water damage" in the kitchen along the edges of the "baseboards" of the kitchen which was there during our FIRST camping trip. Noticed water damage in the bed room where the hot water heater is. Before we went camping we never had it connected to water, never had the fridge on. So how does water damage just appear? I have pictures date stamped and the screen shot of our first reservation camping receipt. During the first camping trip because of all the issues we had they promised us a slide cover or a $600 gift card just for our trouble. I was like okay cool maybe they do car. NOPE wrong again! I called and talked to Derek he said we can either fix the water damgae OR give you that slide topper. I told him that was already promised to us from the June trip. He said well thats what I have to offer you. Even though again I have pictures of the water damage the 1st time we went Camping. We had another trip planned in July 4th week so Steve told us not to bring it in to get everything fixed till the day we leave the campsite and instead of going home just take it straight to camping world and drop it off. So camping world sent pictures of the fridge and freezer that had defrosted because that is what we were told to do since we work full time and didn't have another time or day to take it up there. So there fore they made it look like it was our fault warranty denied it, I reached out it was denied again even though I have pictures of what it looked like before hand with the date on it. So now we're paying for a brand new 2022 heartland mallard that is falling apart and won't be fixed properly when it wasn't my fault instead of camping world taking responsibility and making it right. read more

Yet another unhappy service department customer. Called and made an appointment to have several minor repairs, oil change, etc. Knowing that it would take more than a day we left the Class A Motor-home for as long as they needed it (within reason). After a day I was called and told it was done. I asked about the items that needed to be completed and it became obvious they had only changed the oil. A few days later I received another call telling me that parts were on order and they would update me when they received the parts. Two week later I called and asked about the progress. Amazingly the parts had just arrived that morning and they would have the work done by the next day. This was Wednesday. I said fine, I could pick up on Saturday. No problem he said, it will be waiting on you Saturday morning. After arriving Saturday morning, oops, for some reason the work had not been completed he said. Come back Monday and we'll have it done. This was not acceptable to me so after many discussions between the huge management staff, they decided it would be finish that day. Very long day and they finally finished 2 hours of work at 5:30PM. Frustrated, tired and after paying a large service bill, I find out on the way home that two of the problems had not been fixed (even though reported as fixed). NEVER AGAIN will Camping World get my business. read more

My brother came down to buy a Mercedes Motor Coach from this place yesterday and I said "HELL NO!!" I suggest all avoid this place.. I called service several times to ask about changing the bulb on my stove vent.. never got a call back.. I recently became totally disabled and am on fixed income now.. I called.. several times to find out about selling my camper on consignment.. It is a 2017 and I can't use it and cant afford it..have set it up once and have paid on it two years.. they finally called and said they could sell it going from $10,000 and I owe $16,000.. guess this will be a voluntary repo and see if they can collect from my disability pay.. the only time I set it up the gray and brown water valves leaked bad behind them .. it was cracked all the way around and fell off on the way to take it to them to fix it!!! I picked it up off the hwy! I was asked if I had insurance and was treated like a liar and very rudely dealt with.. thank God I set my brother straight before he went there and ..hope all avoid this place like a plague.. again.. they say contact customer service..NO CONTACT!! The worst post customer relationship I have ever seen. I have called on problems with a new Mallard camper eight times only to receive one return call from them. That call was from the front desk, letting me know that they had found me A key to fit storage area locks on camper. I also canceled my service agreements within the first week, online, following the guidelines in my contract. Only to find out you have submit them at the dealership which I did 30 days ago, two weeks after purchase. I have not received a credit back from my bank because Camping World has not processed it yet, this is costing me a daily interest fee. I called Camping World and was told that they would check on this and call me right back, and once again no return call. I would not recommend them for business. read more

We are incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication, childish excuses, and shoddy workmanship in the service department. We travel for work and utilize a 2019 Keystone Cougar travel trailer much of the year to keep hotel costs down. We dropped off the trailer in February and were told in the beginning of May the work was done. Two days before pick up we received a call reporting the slide had not been extended during the work on the floor and there was an extensive amount of damage requiring an additional $8,000 (none of this is covered by insurance). After over six weeks of being told "Your camper will be ready on Friday" , multiple unreturned phone calls and significant frustration we were finally told the camper would be ready to go at the end of June. We drove over six hours one way to find a filthy trailer with low tires, dust covered inside with chunks of mud and insulation on the floor, dirty handprints on the bed, greasy streaked floors, trim work that had already fallen off and was full of finish nail holes, a loose underbelly panel, and missing over stove fan switch (there was never an issue with the switch or reason to remove it). The service department was kind enough to wash the outside of the trailer "again" (we also payed over $1,100 for all maintenance which included a complimentary wash) and were given yet another excuse that is was probably washed in February. They also replaced the fan switch which we were told "was probably pulled for another trailer for some reason". We appreciate the wash and replacement of parts of our property which should not have been removed. This is an awesome place to buy your next recreational vehicle the service is of exceptional quality. My husband and I were just looking around at the wonderful campers there at camping world , we had some financial challenges and did not think it was possible for us to purchase ,but there is an awesome sales agent there by the name ofJason Martinez he spent a lot of time showing us different units ,when we found one that we loved, He encouraged us to apply he worked very hard getting us our home away from home and he did just that, so when you go in to buy a new RV ask for Jason Martinez , camping world actually closes at 6 o'clock we were in a rainstorm and coming in from a different state to pick up our travel trailer Jason and some of the other staff were there with us until 9 o'clock getting everything done for our purchase, these people go above and beyond , thanks to all the staff at the North little rock camping world store for making it happen for us you are definitely number one in our book. read more

recently done business with Camping World N. Little Rock and was cheated and lied to. I started the process looking for a new trailer and spent a few days back and forth with the sales manager and a sales lady, found out that my credit would not allow the new trailer my wife and I wanted. They offered a used trailer and sent pictures to me, after looking at the pictures and talking to the sales manager and going over the details of the trailer and my trade we came to an agreement and I agreed to travel up from my home in central Louisiana and have the 5th wheel hitch installed in my truck, now this was discussed and agreed before I left my house and it was fully disclosed what type of hitch was being installed and it was included in my financing, I was having the B&W slider hitch and the turnover receiver installed, this was discussed for three days prior to me leaving my house and it was agreed upon. Once I arrived at the store after traveling for 5 hours to be there when they opened the General Manager informed me he could not put this hitch in my truck for the agreed upon price that it was going to cost me 4400.00 for the hitch and installation and he needed an additional 2500.00 cash down to put it in or I could put in a less expensive hitch. I explained to him that this was already agreed upon prior to me arriving there and I did not want a cheap stationary hitch installed in my truck I was very insistent on what I wanted before the deal was even made and financing obtained. He still didn't understand and insisted that I pay more otherwise he had done his part and got me financing and the trailer and a hitch and if I backed out he would charge my credit card 500.00 for the amount of work that went into getting me into another trailer. Unfortunately after thinking about the time I had invested and the travel I forked out the money and they spent an entire day putting the hitch in my truck (should have been about a 4 hour job with 1 person) and I was told I could pick up the new trailer in 2 days. My wife and I hooked to our trailer and started to pull out for Arkansas to find out that the lights were not working (I have pulled this trailer for 4 years with no issues) as I trouble shot the problem I found that the service department had left some bare wires touching under my truck when they installed the hitch this in turn blew a relay and a couple of fuses that I had to replace in order to get my trade to the store. Once I got there my new trailer was not ready for pickup they had not cleaned the inside, outside, or even emptied the holding tanks from the previous owners. When I purchased the trailer I also was sold a protection plan that was to have a chemical put on the outside for oxidation prevention, as well as on the inside for stains on the carpet and upholstery. The theater sofa was supposed to be repaired before I picked up due to the fabric being worn through on the head of one of the recliners, it was not. I was told that the roof was cleaned and inspected and resealed and free of leaks it was not, I picked it up during inclement weather and when I got home found that the roof was leaking in one of the bedroom cabinets as well as the back wall was leaking which in turn I found that the back wall is delaminating (I was told there was no issues). After getting home and the weather cleared and the trailer dried you could also see heavy oxidation all over the trailer when I first looked at the trailer on the lot it showed no sign of oxidation, not sure if the had sprayed a wax on or what but after traveling 5.5 hours in the rain the next day it was very visible. Well needless to say I was told I bought a used trailer as is no warranties except the Good Sam ESP I purchased which does not cover oxidation. The chemical that was supposed to be applied to prevent oxidation is only honored at this location which is 5.5 hours from where I live, I was told it would be honored at any camping world or Good Sam affiliate, it is not. So long story short I was lied to and takin advantage of. The sales manager and General Manager are stealing from the public with every false claim and sell they make. I have since read reviews and social media about this store all saying the same type of situation. Something should be done to correct the wrong that these individuals are doing, they are running the business away from this store. I am one that has said unless something is done to rectify this situation I will not return or do business with them again and will not recommend anyone going to them. Camping World has always been my go to RV place rather it be service or shopping and I have always been treated fair until now and I am very disappointed in this outcome. read more

We stopped in (without an appointment) as we were traveling home into extremely cold weather and this Camping World got our travel trailer in for winterization and we were back on the road in less than 90 minutes. Everyone was most helpful and we can't thank them enough!! read more

We took our class A in for service, complete with a written check list of items to repair or replace. As we left our less than satisfactory experience I gave it a three star rating. Now that we have had a few months to see what was done I'm dropping it to one star. Absolutely no quality control, no pride in job quality, and items supposedly fixed were only jerry rigged and soon were not working again. They were three weeks late in completing the work and tried to overcharge by 200% over their first estimate. They sent us out with one tire thirty pounds less pressure than required even though checking tire pressure was on our list. I have heard many CW horror stories from fellow RVers and will never use them again. read more

We were RVing thru Arkansas in June when we developed a water leak in our hot water heater plumbing, so we stopped in this Camping World location in Little Rock as having purchased our RV from a CW in Colorado, we thought we'd get some special service. And we did! Knowing that scheduling RV repairs can often times be months out, we were so happy/relieved/thankful that this location agreed to look at our rig immediately. Jerry Hall was the service associate who assisted us and he was not only friendly, courteous, knowledgeable but also understanding of our plight. He and his service techs fixed our issue in just over an hour and got us back on the road! Of course we used that hour to complete a large shop of needed items from their in-house store, so everybody won! This experience with the Little Rock CW renewed our confidence in CW as a whole following horribly frustrating experiences with the CW in Colorado where we bought our camper. We had an appointment scheduled with a salesman who wasn't even there when we showed up. We ended up with another salesman who had no clue about the unit we were there to see. Turns out the camper we were there to see wasn't even on the lot and the 3/4 mile walk around the lot in the pouring rain was all for nothing and a complete waste of our time. I guess if you're not there to spend $50K or more, you're not exactly on their priority list. I would never recommend this place. These people need to get their crap together!!! read more

This is my second post about camping world and their fine service! Recap: my brand new $55k camper was used on one trip in July immediately after purchase. So many things were wrong with it. It has been in service since the first week of August. I received a call last week the rig was ready. Drove my hour up there. had to wait another 30 minutes for them to pull the camper out even though I confirmed the day before I was coming at a certain time. Everything was fixed!!! Yeah right! New door with frame and shower drain. Shower drain wasn't touched. Instead they resealed the shower door. The tape they mark with was still there too! They don't even comprehend their own system. Finally, lets talk about this new door. It doesn't open unless you put your whole body into it and it don't close unless you slam it as hard as you can. The service advisor says it's because the camper isn't sitting level. Now I know I'm not a camper service advisor or tech but outside door frames are metal and don't bend or budge like that! Also, someone drilled out the door deadbolt slot into the wood and metal frame of the camper to "make the door close better" but when the service manager was asked about it he said they didn't do that and it came from the factory that way! Pull up the pictures from when I dropped it off buddy. That is a lie! This place is absolutely horrible. Needless to say, my camper is still there! 5months later!!!! Avoid this place! read more

We are going on a 9+ hour roadtrip with my grandparents and each of us are traveling with our fifth wheels. My grandfather had a problem with his dc power, and tried to repair it before we hit the road but after we'd driven a few hours it was persisting to be a problem. We called camping world to ask if we could stop by and talk to their service department for a repair. As soon as we got there the service people were very accommodating and came out to the rig to see if they could figure out a problem. Mark & Jody both worked diligently and quickly to asses the problem, and repair it getting us back on the road within 20 minutes of stopping!! We appreciate their help so much!!! read more
