If you see on Yelp a business that has 15 one star ratings out of 19 reviews - you really need to avoid that business. In school - that is an F! That is an astounding 78% of the reviews believe this company is doing an "F" job! Here is my reason for giving a one star review. We found a trailer we were really interested in buying. We called on Wed to see if it was available and we were told it was. Then, we texted Friday that we were going to drive 2 hours and be there on Saturday morning to see it we asked if it was still available. We were assured it was and it would be ready for us to see. We make the trek and it is in the shop and the sales rep shows it to us and we go over it for about an hour. We tell the rep we want it and will be paying cash. He said it needs to be prepped first and then it is a "first come first serve" basis - which is odd when someone is paying cash. I don't know any business that would not try closing the deal. On our 2 hour drive home, we get a text and the sales manager said congratulations. Monday we get a call and told, "sorry it is sold." I rarely say someone or a business is a liar and a business is unethical, but I will make an exception for Camping World - Cocoa. Monday, we are told it had already been sold on Friday. How about telling us it is sold before we waste a whole day? I have lost all kinds of respect for Camping World and the executive team needs to pay attention to the negative feedback from its customers. The CEO of this company needs to pay attention to the reviews of his company on social media and take note of all the negatives it is receiving from customers and potential customers. Camping World does not have a monopoly on the RV business and with this current business practice is an easy target for the competition. The CEO sees how much the company is making, but does he know how much it is losing? I mean 78% of your reviews are an F? Totally unacceptable in any business. read more

Made an appointment on line too have work done on our32ft Class C . The online system said, a person from the Cocoa service center would contact us to confirm the apt. They never did. Before unhooking and rolling out, an hour before the scheduled apt, we had the forethought to call them and confirm the apt. Good thing that we did, because they informed us AN HOUR BEFORE THE APT that they can't actually do the service we made the appointment for. Had we not called them, we would have waisted the entire morning. Seriously bad customer service. Any right minded person would have contacted us to inform us that the service is not available at that location, but that would have meant that someone was actually going though the online appointments that were booked and confirming them. This location also pulled my credit then didn't give me any info except the finance person would get back in touch with me. So I talked to a sales person, a manager, and neither of them had any knowledge on the pull but kept asking me if I was going to buy the RV. Not sure why so many negative reviews, we had a phenomenal experience here. Sales team was informative, not pushy at all, and found us a unit that has been serving us very well. We're relatively new to camping and I feel like I can pick up the phone and call them with any question even if it's basic. Wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. We drove down from Indiana to buy our fifth wheel. Tried several dealers along the way. Half treated us poorly and the other half wasn't allowed to carry the brand we wanted. We ended up in Cocoa FL. At first they treated us great. Went down hill over a week. Spent 6 days there, for a cash deal. Some things were out of our control, most weren't. Our unit was handed off to us dirty. Had staples and saw dust all over the floor. The door to the bunkhouse was broken, having holes in one side. They took our door and put it in another unit. Then they remounted the broken one in our unit. Backwards no less. The mirror in the front was bad as were all the shades. Most of the shades wouldn't stay up. The bedroom needed to be completely replaced. The propane tanks were half full. We paid $499 to have the unit prepped. Why? They didnt do anything. They also destroyed our bathroom door. It was out of adjustment. Simple fix. Took 3 mechanics to try and fix it, they destroyed it. Bent the mechanism and broke several pieces of the trim. They threw the pieces onto our bed and told us that we might try the manufacturer when we get home. Who does that? We had no choice but to spend 2 nights parked in there lot, one of which was after we no longer owned our old unit. They held the unit long enough that we had no choice but to leave. Had to get back to work. Called them about it. They made a point to say they work hard to take care of issues before the sale and didnt understand why we had issues. Reminded them that they didn't. After getting home I discovered that the gas lines leaked. Every water connection in the unit was loose. Found a hugh hole under the unit. Probably a repair we knew nothing about. They did nothing to fix the hole they made in protective layer of the frame. And my favorite. The unit had been used. The valve to the black tank was open. Nasty surprise when I took the cap off the first time. It was a new unit, I didnt buy a used unit. Again, what did I pay $499 for. They checked nothing. And that deal where the company president says "If your not happy, I'm not happy". Yea, that's a joke. Spent two weeks documenting everything. Sent it all to them and waited. 2 weeks later I finally called. My assigned person was out of the office. Family thing. No issue there. But when she did call she left a message saying she would call back. almost two weeks later I called again. Would'nt take my call. Finally text her directly. Told me there was nothing she could do. She was just a connection to the dealer. No power to do anything. She referred my problems to the dealer. The dealer who created my problems and kicked me to the curb. Now I should add. The bunkhouse door, mirror and the one shade was ordered for us. They were supposed to ship it directly to us in Indiana. They shipped it to the dealer. The dealer refused to ship it back up to us. They insisted we bring the unit back so they could install. That wasnt the deal we had on those 3 items. And I'm not about to pull a 12000 lb trailer 1100 miles to get it worked on. I had to work out a compromise. They agreed to send the items up to Bolling Green and I could pick them up there. Took them a month. Went there today. They still insisted I bring the trailer in so they could do the work. Again, not our agreement. We live in this trailer. We cant bring it in and hope it doesn't take them 6 months to fix it. This us our home. They knew this. They let me have the door but not the other items. Figured out why. I mounted the door, the door opening is totally messed up. Guess I fix that next weekend. Now we have a small leak in the rear of the trailer where the fresh water tank is. Probably why they cut the hole in the bottom. Another thing I get to stress over. Thank you Csmping world. This was a great adventure we went on to get this trailer. You took all the fun out of it and left us with a nightmare. I'm going to fix this unit and sell it. The next family will get a good unit without the bad memories. Then I'll buy another unit elsewhere. I'll never do business here again. This is most poorly organized, downright dumpy Camping World store I've ever been in. And I've been in a lot of them. The staff doesn't know the inventory and isn't super friendly. Most CW stores greet you with a heartfelt "Welcome to camping world! How can we help you today?" They really need to scale down the amount of product offered here to make it a little more easy to move around. This is the very worst CW I have ever visited. The Cocoa Camping World is an embarrassment to all the other decent stores throughout the country. I live close to the Cocoa store and have dealt with this store for several years. After my third incident in a year I am taking the advice of service advisor David and will take my business elsewhere. Danielle the other service advisor is just as bad or worse. These two employees do not need to be around any customers. They care less about any issues you have and both display a don't care rude attitude. UPDATE (dropped from 5 stars to 1 star, if we could go negative stars I would): The review below is my original one, how things change... I guess if you want the short story - their service is absolutely the worst run show I've ever seen... and I've seen a LOT!! I have been working on a warranty claim since June of last year (7-8 months). It's only just now getting finalized (and it was NOT due to parts back ordered or anything). My claim literally got lost and re-initiated 4 times. Always someone else's fault. Absolutely no accountability. It is quite sad. So be warned! I fix a lot of my own stuff, so I'm not sure this would deter me from buying from them (if the price/deal was right) but now since I'm out of warranty, I am VERY confident my RV will NOT be stopping back by there. Just as an example - I needed my rear bumper repainted as rust was showing already. They didn't even take the time to sand off the old rust... just threw a coat of paint on it hoping I wouldn't notice. Really? The bumper is back there now getting redone due to their crappy job the first time. We'll see if it's properly done this time. ----------------Original Post-------------------- Original rating was 5 stars (a mistake). The reviews for CW of Cocoa don't seem so great. Typically it's those that are most dissatisfied that post reviews. So I thought I'd post my experience and things I've learned. I purchased a new 2017 motorhome from CW of Cocoa a couple months ago. In typical fashion (in the RV and Boat world) you will inevitably experience warranty issues. I fixed most of my warranty related issues, but had a couple that CW was going to need to take care of on my Forest River. After they requested the warranty items to Forest River, one was denied. That was unacceptable and I had to get involved and contact Forest River directly. So my lesson I learned is that the RV industry is NOT like the car industry. Things that you'd normally expect to simply get fixed under warranty for an automobile are not quite as simple as the RV industry - so be prepared to get more involved... and if/when you do, it seems the manufacturer (at least for Forest River) will definitely listen. So I got my RV in for the warranty items, while my RV was in their parking lot (small parking lot), another Class A side swiped my RV unfortunately. CW of Cocoa was already assessing my warranty work so they had the body shop guy (Jeff) come on out and estimate the damages from the other RV. They too my motorhome in that day and returned it to me a week and a half later with all warranty items AND the body damage all fixed up. Jeff (body shop guy) is top notch and really takes pride in his work and it shows. He spent a bit of time with me explaining various things I need to keep an eye on (regular maintenance) and even went above and beyond to perform a little "extra" maintenance on my motorhome without even being asked... he just saw the issue and took it upon himself to do the right thing - fix it as he would his own. Cammy (sp?) took great care of us with scheduling our repairs and worked with the other RV owner's insurance for direct payment for the damages caused in the parking lot. I pretty much stayed out of it and it worked out great. So although there are plenty of poor reviews, I would take it upon yourself to give them the opportunity to take care of you. My experience has been great and I'd go back and buy another RV from them for sure. read more

To add to the crappy service I received at this Camping World that is the worst I have ever been to, Marcus Akins and Patricia Crandall their operations directors each sent me an email to ask what can they do to change and rectify the situation. So, I am always willing to work things out. So 2 weeks ago, I asked them when can I bring it in for them to look. Mind you this is a leaking trailer that I paid them to look at and let me know if it needs repair. So 2 weeks later, no response. This is the kind of service level I have come to expect from Camping World now. I have complained, I have written poor reviews, they have "pretended" to show concern. But when I ask them to look at the trailer, crickets!!! No response is a response. It shows you lack decent values and do not really care about customer service. You just don't want people to complain. Shame on you, and shame on Camping World for supporting this facade and fake show of concern. You do not practice the principles you preach, which makes you and your Executive Management hypocrites. Bad management is allowed to continue working at bad companies. read more

Parking lot is too small to accommodate an RV without having to do tricks to get out. The airstream bottomed out on their wonky driveway. The two people in the front of the store could not check us out. Had to wait several minutes for the mysterious cashier to emerge from the back of the store. read more

We were having trouble with the main slide on our Thor. I contacted CW of Cocoa to schedual a repair..except the slide was stuck in the 'out' position. Christine sent some workers to help put the slide back in and then we drove it to their shop. After a few hrs. they let us know the slide track was bad and needed to be replaced. She sent Matt and Harley with us to help pull the slide back out..since we still had about 4 weeks before we left the area. A couple of weeks later Christine called and said the parts were not going to be in until after we were to leave..Her call allowed me time to call my local dealer to get an appointment for just after we get home. At the end of our stay, she then sent Matt and Robert back to our site to help push the slide in for the trip home. It would have been much simpler for her and Camping World to have just said, "Its not our problem" once we contacted them w/our slide stuck 'out'. I beleive they went above and beyond. Even though we couldn't get the slide fixed, through no fault of theirs, I really appreciate all their help and concern. read more

We have purchased 3 campers with the camping world location in cocoa. When you go in to purchase they treat you super nicely. But try and take your camper for service; you will get horrible, horrible service. They don't deliver on their promises, and are very rude. My husband went in to purchase a vent cover for our camper, and didn't know where to look so he asked a salesman who previously helped us to assist in finding the part. He sold my husband the wrong part stating that the covers are all the same, and was extremely rude when my husband questioned the part. My husband took the part as the salesman assured him it would work. When my husband started installing the part he saw it was short for the space we needed. But he had already glued the top part of it. When my husband went back to the store to let this salesman know the part didn't fit; the salesman treated him with so much disrespect, didn't apologize or even acknowledge the mistake. Told my husband he had to order the part and charged my husband for the correct part when my husband had already paid twice the price on the wrong part he assured us was correct. We will not visit this place ever again even though it is closer to us than any other rv parts store. We now just purchase a new motorhome class c from their competitor 1hr and 1/2 away even though they had the unit we wanted at this location 15 min from us. Save yourself from a hassle and go somewhere else for purchase and service. read more

Used the mobile service from Camping World Cocoa & the guy they sent knew absolutely nothing about Grand Designs. I had to call Grand Design and have them walk the tech thru how to fix the issue. This was on Jan 24, 2022, and I'm still waiting on the cc receipt. Traders beware - their Sales Manager Trent will give you the most insulting values for your RVs and vehicles that don't even come close to low book value. He'll let you know "options don't matter" on what you're trading, but won't hesitate to try to sell you on the options of what you're buying. They've only got one sales person left who looks out for the customer (Brad Tug O'Dell). We didn't deal with service but heard great things from patrons about the service department. To add insult to injury, Trent thought talking about me in loud whisper mode was a smart way to get the deal. He has lost another customer for this Camping World and hurt the efforts of another sales rep who did all the work. read more

The absolute worst service in the world. My camper was hit twice while at Camping world. Had to bring it back twice for repairs and it was never done right. Then somebody hit my spare tire and that was twisted so they put on a cheaper model that sticks a foot away from my camper and Is an inferior product. Now it has no brake lights which I told the guy and nobody seems to care. I would never shop at Camping World Of Cocoa, if they were the last Camping place in this country even the sales manager lied. I told him about the brake lights not working and he didn't fix them. I am not surprised that this Camping world has BAD reviews. We looked at a Class A on a Saturday night ,all the batteries were dead. I wanted to take it for a test drive but the salesman and so called Manager said "no" come back on Monday and we will have it all ready for you .So we both rearranged our work schedule to drive from Orlando on Monday . These people have no clue to what they are doing. From the sales department to the service department. Bought a new camper thought we had the paper done had to go 3 times to sign something they forgot. They should a packet with everything they need. The most unorganized company I have ever seen. Had to take the camper back because the AC made a terrible noise and the washing machine didn't work. I had awnings put over the slide outs, called to see if was finished the girl said yes and to call them a hour before we leave so they could have out front to ready to go called the next day so they could have it ready and I found out it wasn't it will be another 10 days. Tried to charge me to fix the AC and the washer and the camper was 2 weeks old. The worst company I have worked with. Sorry I went there should of picked another dealer. read more

My wife and I are in the market for another RV. We have been 4 time owners. Walked in thinking we can look around, at the reception we are told all units are locked, we can fill in a card and when a salesperson is available, not sure when, we could go in the lot to look. Either we look like bad folks, mid 60's, or too many vandals have done damage in the lot. Very cold reception for those who may want to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on a motorhome. I took my RV to these guys for some warranty work. They kept my RV for 2 days. They ordered the parts that was needed. It the parts about 10 weeks to come in. I called them and Kyle asked me to bring my RV in. They kept my RV sitting on the lot for 3 days. I tried calling. I left several voicemails for Kyle after no response I stopped by there. Like told me the manufacturer sent the wrong parts. I asked Kyle why he waited three days to tell me that they had the wrong parts. I asked him how long they had the parts before he called me. He said a couple of weeks. I asked him why he kept my RV for three days knowing he had the wrong parts. He looked at me with the deer in the headlight look and said I don't know I'm sorry. So he had to re-order the parts. I waited another 10 to 11 weeks no one called me. I called the manufacturer to see what the holdup was on the parts. The parts were sent out 2 1/2 weeks after they were ordered. I called camping world spoke with Kyle. He told me to bring in my camper did the repairs would only last three days. After they had my camper for three days I stop by there to check on the repairs. They had not even touched my camper. I spoke with the service manager Steven. He told me they did not have a bay to put my camper in. I complained about them keeping my camper for several days and Steven stated well I did not call you and tell you to bring it in. When I raise my voice and said well Kyle did. Steven got upset and got an attitude. So they kept my camper another two weeks with the exception of whatever days they had off for Christmas.When I picked up my camper I found that they did not seal everything back properly, they left screws out of the sheet metal, they left screws out out of the stairs at the entrance door, they left off molding that was there before they worked on my camper, they left a half inch gap between the door frame and the stud in the wall with a hole in the bottom of the floor where you could see outside, left nail holes not put it where they replace some paneling, left gouge marks in the sheet metal where they had to separate the Seal from the sheet metal. When I called them to let them know what I found they wanted me to bring it back in and keep it for another few days. They also wanted me to take pictures and send it to them. I took the pictures and sent them to the corporate office. The corporate office contacted Steven who is the service manager. He told them that he would not be working on my camper anymore. And after three days I still haven't heard back from the corporate office. I will never ever do business with any camping world anywhere. I recommend that if you value your dollar that you do not do business with camping world ever again. I definitely would not recommend buying an RV from camping world anywhere in the United States. Your customer service is horrible, I've called there and no one wants to help you and are really rude on the phone. I cannot bring the camper to the shop, I am staying in it temporally while my house is being built and they will not send a service guy out to help me. I had a tree branch go through the roof of my RV. We had a few set backs waiting for repair parts, but again Danielle kept me in the loop-- while waiting for those parts/materials, she worked with staff to get it temporarily road ready in time for planned vacation. Beware of Camping World of Coco, Florida My and I had to make a trip to Orlando airport New Years day, so after that we drove on over to Coco Camping World to see a 5th wheel stock # 1394924 High Country for $43,989. We came to terms as far as price down payment and trade pending condition of trade. Papers were signed, and we're happy that we were getting a new RV. We were scheduled to pick up Thrus. morning @ 9:30, no we live about 110 miles from dealership. Wednesday about 3:30 we receive a call from the Sales Manager whom we had worked with that Camping needed twice the amount down that was agreed upon. He then sent me photos and tried to redirect us to a Cougar stock # 1443970 for $46,989 because they couldn't make the numbers work. Hmmm.... if the numbers don't work why try switch us to a lower model that cost more??? How many times would I have to say this isn't a BAIT & SWITCH before I believe that it isn't a bait & switch. Well I called back and spoke with the Business Manager we agreed that we would bring in more money but not twice the amount that sales manager wanted. We were scheduled for pickup Friday at 11:00 got there with our trade and sat. The Business manager walked by a couple of times and didn't even acknowledge us. A while later the sales manager came in and informed us that the tires were trash on our trade, 3 of them were 3 years old and one was 16 months old still have receipt. Also roof was trash and other things were trash, that it would take $7,500 to fix. And that they would have to wholesale it because of the age. And now the would need twice the amount down. Well the sales manager told us when we first met that the trade would have to be wholesaled out because of the age. I really believe that Camping World of Coco had an agenda already set in place to force more money or make us take a lower end unit. We ended walking out even we could have come up with the extra money. Went to Camping World of St. Augustine and have a new High Country 5th wheel with extended warranty and less money that Camping World of Coco wanted also the same amount of money down. read more

They have the worst parts and customer service ever. We dropped our camper off in the beginning of January (it's now April) for a leak and some service (It's the second leak by the way in a brand new camper) from the beginning things went wrong .. they told my husband when he dropped of the camper that he was not supposed to drop it off on the day he did .. when we talked to a guy and were told to bring it in on our way home from Georgia on that day .. After not hearing from them for a while I call to get a update and they tell me the camper is ready. My husband drives there and let's just say it's not right around the corner and the camper was NOT fixed. He left the camper to be fixed and again we heard nothing from them so I called again they said the camper is ready. My husband drives up there for a second time to pick the camper up and guess what?..its NOT fixed. We were told we will make this right. We will fix it and deliver it to your home. After not hearing from them for a while I called up there they told me the camper was ready. My husband called to make sure that the work was really done and to set up a delivery day . They told us they would call us when there guy was on his way after work that Monday to deliver the camper to my driveway . Well Monday came and went and no camper and no phone call ... So again I called up there they said that the guy who told me this no longer works there. Don't you think maybe we should have gotten a phone call letting us know that now our camper is not getting delivered. So now I talk to a manager and find out the work was NOT done. He tells me that there's not even a work order for the water damage inside the camper and after sending him my own pictures of the damage. He said that there shouldn't have even had to be a work order for the work to get done because that should've been seen and fixed by one of his guys regardless so now they were going to make it right for the second time. He was going to have the parts overnight and fixed and have it delivered to our house. So we get a phone call that the camper is ready and we will get a phone call Thursday about delivery because there guy is not working right now but they would get it delivered.. Never got a phone call Thursday so again I call up there ..I'm mad .. I'm pissed .. I get the run around again ... they said they never said that.. they don't like my tone (angry and mad ) and they don't have anyone to deliver it right now. They act like they have done nothing wrong..they can't get their story straight. they always have a excuse .. A phone call that they promised would've been nice and then I wouldn't have to call back again and complain. But instead they make it like they're doing everything right and you don't know what your taking about and you're in the wrong for being mad and angry about there lack of work. Two camping trips canceled ...all the hassle dealing with them which I never will again and advise nobody ever to ..End of story they can't do their job right so we are going to go pick up the camper again for the third time. Let's hope it's really finished this time. Let's just say their parts and customer service isn't very good. Bought a 2020 winnie and on the 1st camp out 3 weeks after the purschase the black and gray valves would not open. Called the dealer to tell them this. I was only an exit away at a campground They said they dont have anyone there to come by and to call roto router and let them come suck out the tanks at my expense That was nice. I cut my arm open pretty good from the wheel flare over the black and gray valve..i made an apt with them that took over 2 months after the 3 months they were closed for covid to get in. I brought it to them and a week goes by and no call. Called them and asked what was going on? They gave me a big run around lie after lie. I call and they tell me they would call right back which they never do. Called the GM (Darin) he said he would call me back in 30 min well 3 days later i had to drive 2 hrs there to see what was going on. He said i told them to modify the valve so it would work... what are they talking about i said to fix it so it works. I told the GM lets go out and you open it. He said he would be right back. I go outside and they were bringing the unit around he said its stiff but works. He would not open it in front of me. He said it stick a little. My wife and i still cannot open the valves. They pretty much refused to do anything. Stay far away from this place they lie to there customers and act like your the best until you buy something then they want nothing to do with you. I will be calling corporate office on monday. I just spoke to a local newspaper who is interested in whats going on. Ill keep you posted. read more

Tried calling to check if they had inventory on shelf before coming in for a sale item. Besides being sent around on loop I was told to leave message because a couple people ahead of me being helped 3 phone calls/messages over 3 hrs still no return call. No one else will help or stay on phone long enough to ask if someone will check. read more
