We made it clear we were not looking to buy one that day but rather a few months from now, and the sales associate Noelle still went above and beyond to answer all our questions and show us an assortment of motorhomes and trailers. She did a great job at tailoring the experience to our needs and getting us connections to RV parks and places to buy a truck for the trailer. She gave us great advice on financing everything as well in a way that would work best for us. We are definitely going back to Miss Noelle whenever we are finally ready to buy! Had purchased a new Forest River Campsite Elite 5th wheel at Tampa RV show. Delivery was made by Cocoa dealership. The unit had a horrible mattress after two weeks had sunken in center to almost flat. This was reported to the service dept. and was replaced, after 2-3 weeks the new mattress did the exact same thing. The service technician was notified again of this defective -worthless bedding. We inquired to get a credit towards another to avoid a third piece of junk. When we returned to Florida, we found out the service person (Rachael) was fired, then we contacted the Dealership manager (Andy) who said his team was right on it. After weeks we received no response, to call back to be advised he was fired. Then contact was made with Sales manager (Samatha) who never returns calls. We would never due business with Camping World again due to the unprofessional customer service. Anyone should think twice about dealing with Cocoa Beach Camping World, unfortunately the Campsite Elite RV is made only for Camping World by Forest River. read more

As an RV enthusiast I certainly am aware of Camping World's capabilities but have never had much interaction with then being there isn't one in close proximity to my home, I am on their email list and get updates and offers frequently. When one of my A/C units began to fail even though it's under warranty I knew I didn't want to deal with the dealership's wait list so I contracted a nationally certified mobile RV technician to assist me with the troubleshooting and replacement process and deal with the warrant company directly. I started the purchasing process online and after reviewing all the specifications to ensure the new unit was an exact match or that any upgrades would be recommended for an exact replacement. Camping World's website is pretty detailed and they offer a very extensive inventory so I knew I'd be able to find what I needed so my only concern would be availability and that it could be available for pick up at the location of my choosing. After making the purchase online and getting a confirmation email I knew a follow up call the following morning before I set out to their Cocoa, Florida location was all that would be required. I called the store in the AM a few minutes after they opened and spoke to Chris, he was attentive and took down my information and the details of my order and told me he would track down the information and get back to me once he knew the details. Fast-forward about 15 minute Chris called me back and confirmed the A/C was in stock and would be ready for pickup when I arrive. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by their friendly receptionist and directed to the right person, after verifying my name he immediately set up the pickup at the side gate where they loaded it in my truck. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I know it may sound like this is a pretty simple process but it took a coordinated effort by a lot of members of the Camping World Team to make this happen and they executed it flawlessly. I know this review isn't about buying an RV or scheduling service but it does show they do have things in place to take care of the customer and if you take the time to explain your needs or issues and have reasonable expectation and exercise some patience these guys are willing to put in the work. It was definitely a 5-Star experience and they have earned my loyalty, this will be the first option I look to in the future... read more

I dealt with Camping world parts dept. in Cocoa Fl. Christine was very helpful in obtaining base moulding to cover water damage at the base of my bath sink cabinets. Keystone sent the moulding but refused to pay for the service call to repair the factory defect which caused the leak. Camping world repaired the factory defect which caused the leak from the outside belt strip detaching (staples!) The service tech did a good job of re-attaching and caulking the strip back in May (my expense) on my 2023 Crossroads Hampton 372FDB made by Keystone. I would not buy a product from Keystone again due to multiple defects which I had to deal with in one year of purchase. read more

Needing to replace a CO LP detector in my camper, I found one online and in the Camping World store located in Cocoa Beach, FL. The in-store on the shelf price was $129.99. The Camping World website had them priced at sale price of $74.99. When I asked about a price match from their own website, I was told doable for Good Sam members only. I would have to join with the $29 membership fee. I was skeptical. Stepping away from the counter, looking at my phone to research required membership (i didn't see it) on their website again, I did notice curbside pickup available. So I told the cashier that I will order the detector on-line while in the store and do curbside pickup. Purchase via the website doesn't require Good Sam membership. I will get the sale price saving me $55,00 The employee replied that she will sell me the unit at the website price without membership. "We don't do this for everyone" she explained. I didn't reply, though legal advertising thoughts went through my mind. I did tell her goodbye with a smile. There policy is sketchy in my opinion. read more

I recently ordered and purchased a custom made mattress for my motor home, Today makes it 2 weeks, still no tracking # or communication from them. When I called Camping Worlds customer service, they informed me, the mfgr tried delivering somewhere to a town 30 miles away from me it was refused and sent back to factory. Although customer service was trying to be helpful, it seemed as if they were blaming the vendor, who they have chose to work with. I requested a refund, let's see how that goes. This has to be the worst Camping World in the entire corporate entity! I've been dealing with Camping World since David Garvin owned the company and have been to many of their stores across the USA. For an example, I went to one location in Tennessee (without an appointment) (I can't recall the city but the repair portion was in a different location then the store. I was looking to have a charge line installed and they took care of me that day and in less than two hours I was back on the road (heading to Chicago area). I tried to make an appointment for service today and after being put on hold (by the operator and after she asked me a bunch of questions) she came back on and said "..no one is available to take your call!". Growing pains are not always good! They have went though Several people that knew how to to fix any issues. To a person that did not know the difference between a satellite system and an internet system. I was told that both were installed and we found the satellite sitting on the floor still in the box. Once they did install it took an additional four trips to actually get it working. The last trip I refused to take the the camper until they could prove it worked 3 hours later. THe kicker was I kept the tires at 63 psi. Had tolled the camper to our preferred service center they had checked the tires and Repacked the bearings. Went to go pick it up drove less than several miles and had a blow out. Checked the tires and they were all over inflated! HMMM. Guess they wanted me to buy the tires which I turned them down. They send it out and uncharge. So lesson Learned I would never recommend them for anything!! Don't purchase the rode side assistance nothing was covered. read more

Came all the way from Tampa for an appointment I waited weeks for. Made it clear that I would be waiting for RV. All I asked was for them to check generator and let me know what the issue was so I could make an appointment at a later date to fix. Dropped off at 10am, appointment was at 11am. They said they would call when they found issue. Come 5:30pm, no call. So I called and they told me sorry!!! Service is closed! Lol!! This place is a total joke. My 'Karen' rant is done. I have been dealing with Camping World for nearly 15 years. We purchased our Viking pop-up around 2007, and a Mini-Winnie 1801FB travel trailer in 2014. 5 years ago we purchased our Class C but not from Camping World. It wasn't that we didn't want to use Camping World, but that they did not have what we wanted in stock. While camping in our Class C around 2020, the power post took a direct lightning strike blowing out our shore power cable. The $600.00 surge protector did what it was supposed to, but our AC managed to get fried. Camping World of Cocoa was able to replace the AC as well as vent covers - all at a reasonable price. Next, we needed a Chassis and generator oil change. Camping World of Cocoa had is in and out in a couple of days. Labor and "shop supplies" were a little steep, but we knew our Class C was in good hands. Recently, the driver's side mirror came apart as I was folding it during a camping trip. Managed to jerry-rig the mirror and drove to Camping World of Cocoa and dropped it off on a Sunday. The service team Leann and Christina took great care of us the following Monday via telephone. A couple of days later Christian called and said the mirror from Thor was on back order of many, many weeks and there is not much they can do. However, she learned that there was a spare driver's side mirror removed from a Class C rebuild that was just laying around. She was able to arrange installation of the surplus mirror as a loaner, and sent us on our way. When the new mirror from Thor is delivered, they will swap out the mirrors. If this isn't customer service, I don't know what is. The team at Camping World Cocoa made a bad situation much better by trusting us with a loaner mirror so that we do not need to cancel an upcoming RV road trip. $145.00 for labor and those "shop supplies" is very reasonable and we appreciate the Cocoa location thinking outside the box. So you can read the other reviews and decide on your own. For us, there is no option for RV service - it is Camping World of Cocoa. We could have selected their Kissimee location or that other mega-dealer in Seffner, Florida (see my review on that dealership) but I doubt they would have been as thoughtful or caring. My husband and I made an appointment for warranty work. When we dropped off our travel trailer we were told it would take approximately 2 weeks to do the work. Two weeks later we started calling for an update. It took 2 more weeks and multiple calls to find out the parts had not even been ordered. (Kyle said he texted once but we never received a text) We are now almost 6 weeks post drop off and once again we are trying to get information and our only option is to leave our number and hope for a call back. We are pretty patient people but the lack of communication and time frame for even ordering the parts is just sub par. I'll update once we have more answers. read more

If I could give a negative 0 rating I would. My wife and I visited this location about 6 months ago. When we walked in the building, the looks and stares we got were as if we were aliens. We toured the RV lot quickly and left. Just didn't feel like we belonged there. Fast forward 6 months later, we flew out to Vegas and purchased a 2024 Motorcoach and decided to drive it back to FL for the test ride. A few things needed repaired, and some things came loose along the way. We decided to take it to Camping World since they're authorized service centers. Coincidentally, this location is the closest to me. Every time I've brung in our RV there's been some type of issue between the staff and myself. No space, can't repair it on time, I show up to an appt and they're over booked.... AND This last time, they tried blaming all of the issues on Luianne (a former employee). We've always had to initiate calls, practically no follow up, no customer service, and this last visit just pushed me over the edge. Right fully so, I requested the service tech to speak to Marcus Akins his manager. Instead of him coming out and handling my very valid concern, he sent his service tech Kyle to do his dirty work. What a great leader he is!!He didn't even come out and speak with me. My conclusion, that location has serious customer service issues. I decided to contact corporate. They called me to discuss my concerns, and within seconds Mr. Marcus Akins quickly called me and left a message. Needless to say, I will never step foot back into this establishment, and I can't recommend anyone else. I'm glad we didn't purchase our RV from this location. read more

Stopped in to eyeball the differences between 2 rv models and we were definitely planning on purchasing 1 of the 2 in about 3 months. They required way too much info for us just to be able to look at the rv. I have diagnosed ptsd and I could tell a episode was comming on. The person at the door said I was not in the camping world system even though The store in Kissimmee Fl has been calling and emailing twice a day for 3 days.I had denied giving my # for opt in txt messages and even told the salesperson why I didnt want them. Well I finally caved in after being asked to opt in so many times. I recieved 6 txt messages in about 5 hrs from the store and thats not even including the automated ones. Thats entirely too much! The finance manager was even pulled in to talk to us after we finally did get to look at some campers and we sure were not prepared to go that deep. I had told them several times already that a purchase was not going to happen today. We told the salesperson that we wanted a new one of what ever we decided but the salesperson is still trying to set us up in a used one. The fees that were added ontop of the advertised price was astonishing. I just spent $50,000 on a new vehicle that didnt have as many fees added as a $14,000 rv would have. The first thing my wife said was "we will NOT buy one here" And I hadn't even told her about all of the emails and calls from the other store. read more

It's getting quite uncomfortable to shop in this store. On multiple occasions I've tried asking Christian (with the ponytail) for help finding things in the store and it seems every time I ask, I find he's hiding somewhere (by the bathroom, in an isle) flirting with the little blonde girl with the dark blue "service" shirt and the short shorts and he just doesn't care if I need help. We had the BEST customer service from Chasity when we visited the Kissimmee store on July 14th. We were about to purchase a 5" RV back up camera with side cameras from Michael but asked what the price is vs. the 7" camera. It was more cost efficient to purchase the 7" that was on sale so Michael went and pulled a 7" from the shelf. When we got in our car we realized he had pulled the wrong 7" from the shelf (one with no side cameras) that he processed for our payment. We immediately walked back in the store and were assisted by Mac who said he could not give us back our 40 Good Sam Member points because we were returning an item (10 minutes after the wrong one had been processed by Michael??!!). Mac asked Chasity, the Manager, to step in and she was so nice, patient and knowledgeable. SHE KEPT CUSTOMERS THAT DAY from being so helpful. We have always gone to this location and will continue to, because of Chasity. She is a GREAT employee. We were a little confused watching Mac walk away in the middle of Chasity teaching him how to properly assist a customer under these circumstances but we were just very happy that Chasity did not hesitate to assist us where she could. Waited 2 months to get our Fifth wheel in for fender repair and replace Black tank amongst a few little detail checks. Got in the shop June 2; just got it out approximately 2 weeks ago. The fender work was good but the black tank work was very poor! Phase 1 pickup after work was "completed", inspection showed the sewer pipe between the toilet and black tank freely moved within the black tank hole that apparently was overcut. The movement was enough to see a gap between the tank hole and the grommet. Returned RV for incorrect installation to get an airtight fit. Phase 2 pickup, Camping World used a panel bond to attempt to seal around the pipe and grommet and tank. Second inspection at home discovered a one inch area around the pipe joint with no panel bond to seal. We then did a water test to check the seal. Water freely flowed from this unsealed area. Black tanks must be airtight! Pictures and video are available. We still do not have a working black tank. read more

Showed up to get my propane filled on my RV at 615pm after a 30-minute drive after being told on the phone to be here before 630p to get it done. Upon arrival I was then told "the guy who fills the propane left for the day...maybe try going to Lowe's". Are you serious? Two days earlier I was told it would be 4 weeks before I could get an oil change! Took it to Kelly Ford and got it done the next day. Unbelievable. So took our coach in to Camping World in Cocoa, Fl. Now I know there are a lot of people that just hate the place, but ..... Made an appointment one week earlier to replace our front ac. Went from a Coleman Mach 13.5 to a 15. Arrived the night before and spent night in parking lot. Day of appointment after being there for half hour was told that the replacement ac came in with the control panel bad and they would have to order another. Yech, would have to come back. Not ten minutes later they came out and said they would just replace the while unit and it would be done in half hour. Best thing in all of this is the ac was on sale on the internet and they matched the price. As much bad as everyone is shooting at this company, I think they did a wonderful job. read more

If you see on Yelp a business that has 15 one star ratings out of 19 reviews - you really need to avoid that business. In school - that is an F! That is an astounding 78% of the reviews believe this company is doing an "F" job! Here is my reason for giving a one star review. We found a trailer we were really interested in buying. We called on Wed to see if it was available and we were told it was. Then, we texted Friday that we were going to drive 2 hours and be there on Saturday morning to see it we asked if it was still available. We were assured it was and it would be ready for us to see. We make the trek and it is in the shop and the sales rep shows it to us and we go over it for about an hour. We tell the rep we want it and will be paying cash. He said it needs to be prepped first and then it is a "first come first serve" basis - which is odd when someone is paying cash. I don't know any business that would not try closing the deal. On our 2 hour drive home, we get a text and the sales manager said congratulations. Monday we get a call and told, "sorry it is sold." I rarely say someone or a business is a liar and a business is unethical, but I will make an exception for Camping World - Cocoa. Monday, we are told it had already been sold on Friday. How about telling us it is sold before we waste a whole day? I have lost all kinds of respect for Camping World and the executive team needs to pay attention to the negative feedback from its customers. The CEO of this company needs to pay attention to the reviews of his company on social media and take note of all the negatives it is receiving from customers and potential customers. Camping World does not have a monopoly on the RV business and with this current business practice is an easy target for the competition. The CEO sees how much the company is making, but does he know how much it is losing? I mean 78% of your reviews are an F? Totally unacceptable in any business. read more
