We weren't familiar with the airport (or it rules/procedures) and were expecting someone to be waiting with a sign and our name (as that's been our experience in other cities). We had a difficult time finding our driver as we were unaware of where to go once out of baggage. That's fine, I just wish it was communicated ahead of time because it caused some stress. The vehicle was very clean, our driver was very friendly and the vehicle provided the level of accessibility and comfort we were seeking. I had actually used Ace Limo in the past with great results, which is exactly why I felt completely confident stepping in as the Best Man and main transportation point of contact for my best friend's wedding. I personally spent weeks coordinating with Samantha at Ace, as well as the couple's wedding planners, to ensure a flawless itinerary. Sadly, what we experienced on the wedding day was a total operational collapse. Without a single phone call, text, or email to me or the planning team, Ace decided to swap our reserved party bus for a generic Greyhound-style coach. They later claimed the original vehicle had an air conditioning issue. Having worked in events, I understand that mechanical failures happen, but the complete failure to communicate a major vehicle change to the designated point of contact is unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, they secretly outsourced the job. The driver who showed up didn't even work for Ace; he was a third-party contractor (we still do not know who or what company it was outsourced to) who clearly hadn't seen a single page of the itinerary Samantha and I had spent hours perfecting. That lack of preparation quickly turned into a disaster on the way to the ceremony. I realized we were heading in completely the wrong direction and literally had to leave my seat on a moving bus, walk up to the front, and physically tap the driver on the shoulder to get his attention because he was driving with his AirPods in. Despite my immediate corrections, his navigation blunders meant we were dropped off at the wrong location. Because of this, the bride was forced to walk the rest of the way to the church, exposing her to arriving guests and completely ruining the private, unseen arrival she had been looking forward to her entire life. You would expect a driver to snap to attention after a massive mistake like that, but the exact same thing happened on the way to the reception. Instead of heading to the venue, he obliviously started driving us back toward the hotel. For the second time that day, I had to play navigator, intervening and redirecting him to get us back on track while he continued to wear his AirPods. It is absolutely absurd that the Best Man had to babysit a hired driver all day just to get the wedding party from point A to point B. A transportation company's job is to alleviate stress on a wedding day, not be the primary cause of it. Ace Limo took our money, completely ignored the careful planning we did with their own staff, outsourced the job to an unprepared contractor, and failed at basic communication. Despite my previous positive history with this company, this experience was entirely unacceptable, and I will never recommend Ace Limo again.

The dispatcher called me back immediately after I left a message with the company, and was friendly and helpful in coordinating travel details for an airport pickup for my parents, who are... not technology friendly. Dispatcher called me back the afternoon of my parent's scheduled arrival with specific info on their driver - name, phone #, etc - in addition to trying to text it to them. (Nice try, my parents don't understand texting.) Their driver called moments after they stepped off the plane, and he was available curbside to them as soon as they'd collected their luggage. I'd warned them that there was quite a bit of luggage, so the driver had even brought an assistant to help him load up. Mom reported that the SUV they sent was clean and well cared for, and still had plenty of room for her, my dad, and their 8 suitcases. Driver was friendly and attentive. Mom could not have been more pleased. She even asked for his card! (Mom NEVER does this, because she finds fault with EVERYTHING.) I think it's safe to say we've found our new transportation service! ETA - this company and 1 Luxury Limousine are the same company. (Reviews are pretty great on both.) Not sure why there are two profiles, but it seemed worth mentioning.

The initial conversation with Mike to set-up the transport was lengthier than it needed to be as he wanted to confirm and re-confirm every small detail. When it was clear he was confused about the pick-up location, I offered to share a pin for the location but it was apparent he does not use a cell phone or a map app. Mike was not very professional on the phone. When he called the day before the transport to confirm everything, I missed the call and his VM was "What the hell is going on?" When I tried to call them on a later date, both lines were busy for 30 minutes in the middle of the day - not a good way to provide customer service. The driver was friendly, but her driving skills were questionable. She is elderly with a bad leg. When turning at one red light, she took the turn very wide and incredibly slow (as if she could not see the road well - it was dark). When traveling on I95, she drove erratically and crossed the lines. She also took the wrong exit for the airport but stayed to the left to get right back onto the highway, so no harm/no foul. The minivan smelled like cigarette smoke. The return trip was just as eventful. The same driver decided to get off the highway due to increased traffic but was unsure of her route and even asked us where she should go. (She had a cell phone but did not use it or any other device to navigate.) When we suggested the route to take, she responded with "I know! I know!' They were willing to modify the pick-up time after we were able to secure standy-by tickets on an earlier flight...so they were flexible. However, I will never use their service again and would not recommend it to anyone. The cost was neglibly less than other services and it is not worth the hassle.
