However with this place I have had the same maintence guy be very rude to me. He will barge into my home without so much as a single knock on several occasions I have been in my bedroom or exiting the bathroom completely nude without hardly any chance to get dressed before he rushed through the home. Today he rushed through and saw my son using the restroom and proceeded to talk to him. This is very inappropriate behavior. I live alone with my children and myself now and I could not ensure our privacy and safety while we remain here. It was a complete invasion of privacy and unprofessional. The only positive note is that Lighthouse will sometimes work with tenants on the rent but prepare for a unfair large fee.

Absolutely ridiculous, considering you still have to clean, replace all the lightbulbs, and do a lot of items on the move-out checklist. Then, the washing machine in my apartment was broken for the better part of the summer and there was a leak from the hot water heater that reocurred several times. They did not offer any kind of discount or anything for this inconvenience. Finally, despite documenting that the walls were in poor condition when I moved in, they charged me $395 for painting. I received less than half of my security deposit back, even though I only lived there for a year and took good care of the place. Rental company options in Lynchburg are limited, but it's best to sign a lease with Priority One with your eyes fully open.
