Anyway when we got there, there are cabins with bump beds. It s the size of twin. I disinfect and OmG IT WAS DIRTY!! The beds are plastic type of cover there are not normal mattresses. Inside the cabin you will think it nice and clean but no it is not. Is like a hotel when they only clean where their in laws sees. That is nasty. The meals comes with the package and the meals are good the staff are nice. Overall experience it was nice and you should try it one time. Do I recommend here? I hope that cleaning the cabins the places also the chairs as well. but really cleaning them like clean the bump beds inside and out, the windows fixing them have good air central and clean the carpet not only vacuum it but also sanitize it as well. I'm saying before someone comes in and takes over. Not cleaning it only the surface and let someone else take over. The showers really deep clean them and sanitize them. Toilet bowls where clean. If they fix all that it will be recommended constantly. Up to you if you want to stay here with your group for few days. It was fun I don't like camping but coming with our group it was fun and worth it.

Camp Cedar Crest is our primary site, with well-developed and maintained infrastructure (especially important for those winter months!), cozy cabins, an excellent kitchen and dining hall, and an attentive and friendly staff that is always available and helpful. Easy to get to (just 10 minutes past Running Springs) but beautifully secluded in the San Bernardino National Forest, easy to work from (the wi-fi is top notch!), and great hosts to work with, to achieve our organization's goals.

This did not happen. My daughter said the other school "ate all the food" and her school was left with undercooked rice, slivers of french toast, no juice for their table, and were told by Koda to fetch their own water. These other schools were able to get seconds whereas her school was denied this same privilege. There wasn't enough silverware, cups were wet leaving kids wondering if they used cups or wet from being freshly washed. A counselor told them "smell it, if it doesn't stink you can use it." In addition, male camp counselors frequently cut the line in front of the kids, ensuring that THEY ate before the children did. My child also stated that the previous school left a huge mess on their tables in which they had to clean up. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars for my child to go hungry during blistering conditions. In speaking with multiple chaperones that I am friends with, they all spoke the same thing: that food was awful and lacking. Frankly speaking, what kind of program are you running where safety standards aren't met, food isn't prepared properly, counselors are putting themselves first before the children, and children are left starting their day hungry? How could so many things go wrong with a well-established camp program that has been in business for many years? Is this the standard you wish to uphold?

She came home absolutely raving about the amazing time she had and how much fun it was! She spoke so highly of her counselors, Natalie and Esmie, and said they were incredibly kind and supportive. It really made a difference in her overall experience. A couple of minor downsides: she mentioned the "Yapatorium" (the sanctuary) had a lot of talking (I'm sure it was educational). Also, one of the bathrooms either didn't have a working lock or the lock was broken, so the girls had to share another bathroom or have someone stand outside for privacy. Food-wise, there were no issues, but my daughter didn't love most of the meals. She said the pizza was the best and the tacos were her least favorite. However, when I spoke with some of her cabin mates, they said the food was good -- so this may just come down to personal preference (she can be a bit picky!). The registration portal was very easy to use, and the website was up to date and helpful throughout the process. Overall, she had a wonderful experience and came home with great memories.

I, too, was genuinely concerned because--for some reason--the reviews for this place seemed negative; however, it turned out that all the children were absolutely delighted. Their teacher sent us photos--the very ones I've included in this review--and the food was very wholesome, delicious, and fresh. The children were allotted four minutes each for showers; however, I don't view this as a negative thing, as there really are a lot of children, and you simply can't allocate a vast amount of time to each individual without causing long delays for everyone else. The kids didn't even have a chance to get bored. My daughter usually spends her days at home glued to her phone or the TV, and she's not easily impressed--yet she really loved this camp.
