Even if it's just a check up there's all those weird…read morenoises, mini vacuum things, scary objects approaching your mouth while you lie there, incapable of stopping the situation. After I had my wisdom teeth out last year I have been avoiding a check up like the plague. When Sparkle Dental near my house offered a deal for a limited time for a check up, clean and x-ray for free if you have private health insurance, I decided it was time to stop procrastinating. When I enquired about an appointment I was told politely that there was nothing available for at least a month, but wanting to get it out of the way as soon as possible I put my name on the waiting list, and sure enough an appointment freed up for me within a week of enquiring. The staff were lovely and quite gentle. Despite a not-so-subtle attempt to up-sell some teeth whitening to me, it was the most pleasant dental experience I have had to date. It calmed my nerves when I saw that the clinic was immaculately clean. I especially liked the TV above the dentist chair that allowed me to fit in a solid half an hour of Absolutely Fabulous whilst getting my teeth scraped and sucked and pulled around. I would definitely go back to Sparkle Dental and will recommend it to all my friends. Given that there was a special deal on and I didn't have to pay a gap for the service, I'm not sure how much they would regularly charge, but with the service I received I would be happy to pay a little bit extra.

I recently thought about changing dentist for better convenience. I'm pretty glad I chose this one…read more Everything in the clinic is very new. They have a toilet and magazines that aren't torn. A fish tank. A TV is on the ceiling of the clinic I was in. But what I mainly noticed was what was done during my scale and clean. It's one of the best ones I've had and i was thankful for the fluoride foam on the tooth tray which was at the end. My old dentist uses a blue gel which is fairly gummy and it's kinda gross seeing as you're not to rinse it out for half an hour. They smear it on with a cotton wad and it gets all over my lips and tongue. X-rays are instant. They show up on a computer monitor also mounted up high so that you, the patient, can it straight away. They also took some photos using a tube camera of the tops of my teeth which were also displayed instantly. I got a care pack on leaving, containing a toothbrush, two mini toothpaste, a stick flosser and magnet. Should you be too early there is also a cafe just two shops away.

I had complete trust in him and he did a terrific job with my root canal. His assistant (also the receptionist) was also very friendly and helpful. I almost looked forward to my follow up visits.

She is gentle, very sweet, listens to you and is very accurate. She did all my procedures, and I was really happy with her work. I highly recommend her! I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. They generally aren't overly booked, so I could always get an appointment within one week. Reception staff is friendly and capable also! Great dental clinic. Highly recommended.

I saw Michelle Yu for a check-up and clean, she was friendly, professional, gentle and best of all I wasn't in there for long! Clean done in 10mins and I was out the door. They gave me a free goodie bag too (few little tid bits in there such as toothbrush, toothpaste, floss etc). As someone who doesn't like the dentist (who reeeeally does) is rate them highly.
