Don't even get me started on the pain they inflict on me and my poor teeth. Which is why I find this review hilarious. Why? Because I love this dentist. They tick all the boxes, healthcare provider rebates, clean, steady hands, state of the art equipment, before and after pictures, you name it. They have it. I've had my teeth scaled, cleaned and filled here. Even pulled. I can confidently say, not once have I felt any pain. Not once... sound impossible? Well that's what I thought. Dr Ha is very good at what he does. He makes all the other dentists I've gone too seem incompetent. He is professional, friendly and takes care of your fears... even fixes your teeth. They are very upfront with the prices as well so you're not caught unawares at the end. Tam cleaned my teeth and scaled them, twice. I didn't feel any pain at all... steady hands, steady efficient hands ensured the job was done without delay or speed. I was suitably very impressed. With the appearance of a house converted into a practice, there is a myriad of magazines in the waiting room with a large screen telly and kids cars and toys to amuse the little ones while you wait. I am definetly a regular here, and I love my teeth again!

The most important aspect is that he makes an impression of a dentist who genuinely wants to do a quality job. For a person like me who above all wants the dental work not only to look good, but also to last for many years, it is very important. The mild downside however are some communication difficulties, a difference between recommendations at different visits, and occasional inconsistency in opinions.

I recently thought about changing dentist for better convenience. I'm pretty glad I chose this one…read more Everything in the clinic is very new. They have a toilet and magazines that aren't torn. A fish tank. A TV is on the ceiling of the clinic I was in. But what I mainly noticed was what was done during my scale and clean. It's one of the best ones I've had and i was thankful for the fluoride foam on the tooth tray which was at the end. My old dentist uses a blue gel which is fairly gummy and it's kinda gross seeing as you're not to rinse it out for half an hour. They smear it on with a cotton wad and it gets all over my lips and tongue. X-rays are instant. They show up on a computer monitor also mounted up high so that you, the patient, can it straight away. They also took some photos using a tube camera of the tops of my teeth which were also displayed instantly. I got a care pack on leaving, containing a toothbrush, two mini toothpaste, a stick flosser and magnet. Should you be too early there is also a cafe just two shops away.

I had complete trust in him and he did a terrific job with my root canal. His assistant (also the receptionist) was also very friendly and helpful. I almost looked forward to my follow up visits.

I was so happy with her service I wanted to do a 5 star review for her as I had a shocking experience at another Dentist that wanted to crown a tooth that absolutely didn't need a crown. (I know as I saw the xray and being an ex dental nurse they didn't expect me to know what the xray "wasn't showing" ) Great service to Dr Flavia Botelho nice to know you can trust her.

There's a spacious brand-new waiting room with a TV (blah) and a lot of magazines, including awesome trashy mags for women (When did Madonna's daughter become that tall? And why do I care? Well, anything to distract me from the upcoming dental drill, surely the most commonly-used torture instrument still in use throughout Australia). Shockingly, my appointment was on time. I was the third patient of the day, so that might be something to do with it - but still you get the feeling of a well-run ship here. There was only one counter staff member, but she can call on her mother if she needs help (her mother is a dental assistant who also works here). I hate the dentist. But if you have to go, here's a good place.

So well, in fact, that I managed to avoid going to the dentist for almost five years. And as anyone who has ever had a long lay off time between dental examinations can attest to - an impending visit is an unpleasant prospect. Although, I am of the opinion that it's more the thought of going to the dentist that's troubling rather than the half an hour actually in the chair. That was certainly the case when I visited Doctor Leanne Leung at Ashgrove Dental. My understanding is that most people base their choice of dentist on recommendations and a long association with a particular practice. I chose Ashgrove Dental based entirely on convenience of location and the fact I am incredibly lazy. But at no stage was I given reason to regret my choice. The receptionist was relaxed and informal which allowed me to relax a bit. I didn't wait long for Doctor Leung to usher me into the chair and it seemed like no time at all before i was bounding out of it. Gentle and professional the whole way through Doctor Leung finished the consultation by explaining exactly what was going on in mouth. The bad news, I would be needing a hole filled. The good, I would be getting it done at Ashgrove Dental.

I've been to heaps of other physios previously and the experience at Heritage Health was the not like the others. Firstly, the physio saw me one on one for the whole time I was there. Second, he gave me harder exercises to do after each visit and he checked to make sure I was doing them correctly. Lastly, to my surprise, he actually gave me a time frame as to when I should expect to get back to normal. Usually other physios just brush off the question but Jason said to expect around 4 weeks depending on how my exercises went and sure enough, 4 weeks later, I was completely pain free and back to sport. I highly recommend these guys and will be telling all my friends.

Despite my slight aversion (read lifelong phobia) of smiling…read morelabcoat wearing/shiny toothed dentists, it was more boredom than fearful curiosity that I accompanied my brother to his orthodontic visit. Having made extensive research into braces my parents decided to head to Centre St orthodontics mainly because of recommendations from friends and the good Dr's reasonable prices. (It's probably the lowest on the northside) The main man here was a bundle of laughs and had more dad jokes in his repertoire than...well...my dad. Aside from the the playful banter, Dr Yap was brimming with advice, tips and recommendations. Any guy that distracts a kid from painfully tightened braces, is more than AOK by my books. (And his assistants were more than friendly as well!) Every case is different so prices will vary, the $1000 braces removal may seem a bit hefty but it does comes with a years worth of appointments and aftercare. If you're longing for that hollywood smile, I recommend a good long chat with Dr Yap.
