Looking across the river. Just to the right of the bridge is Camp Eddy. All within walking distance.

The only reason I am not giving Camp Eddy 5 stars is the water pressure in the shower was really bad the second night I was there. Will I go back, in a heartbeat! This is a new RV site and it also offers tiny homes and Airstream trailers to rent. The vegetation hasn't had to time grow yet! The location is right next to the Colorado River. There is a great walking path plus multiple things for the kids to do like a skate park and a great playground just across the river. The zipline is probably open now! There is a great dog park that even has motion-activated lighting for that just before bedtime doggy time. All the staff that I interacted with were wonderful!

Camp Eddy, walk to the other side of the parked RV's and you can get rent a scooter with your phone.

Loved our trip to Grand Junction and Camp Eddy made it even better!! Easy to make reservations online and wow were we surprised when we arrived how cool this place was! We booked 1 week out (last minute trip) and we didn't care where because of the $50 a night for an RV spot! The camp grounds are beautiful, super clean and spacious. It's a new place, no grown trees yet, they have them! Amenities are a gym, laundry, WiFi, laundry room and a lounge, patio with chairs and fire pit, and it's gorgeous! It's own doggie park too. You can walk downtown and enjoy the restaurants and stores, easy 2 mile walk, one way but you have the option to use the pay scooters parked by the river. Oh and yes you can walk the River its a nice paved area. There is also a building that rents raft boats. The checkin was easy and person working was really nice and helpful. Recommended Colorado Monument park for what we were looking for Razor riding and hiking! What an amazing time we had! Really recommend Pablo's Pizza downtown as well!

Came across Camp Eddy researching places to stay on the west side of CO for a couple nights to hit many towns on this side of the state. I was excited how cute this place looked and it's right on the river! I arrived and check in was swift and easy. They are dog friendly also with a dog park so my little guy could come along! I rented a tiny home and it was adorable and super clean. It was hot, in the 90s, all weekend and the AC kept it nice and cool. I enjoyed coming back after being out and adventuring and chilling along the River. I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back and stay here with friends for a wine tasting weekend since Palisade is only 15ish minutes up the road!

Great place to stay in Grand Junction. Right on the bike path, close (Ish) grocery stores and downtown. Good staffing.

Horizon Drive is the main access to the Grand Junction airport north of I-70 and an almost direct access south to downtown. Rates are always reasonable. This time, I reserved thru Expedia and got my room with a queen bed for $88 each for 2 nights and my 3rd night for $63 + the various taxes. They accept pets, but charge a stiff deposit I have never needed to change rooms. All inside doors to the rooms. The breakfast space is simple, but several local restaurants are nearby.

We were given room 101 which was right on the corner and so there were three doors that constantly slammed right by our room door as people came in and out. The vending and ice machine were right outside our door too so things were loud. I'd ask for a different room next time. There is no carpet on the first floor and our large dog is afraid of hard flooring so we had to keep his shoes on the whole time so he could get around the room and in and out to go to the bathroom. The room looked to be an accessible room. It was spacious. Though if someone uses a wheelchair, I could see some obstacles - The opening between the toilet and the sink is slim so it would be difficult to fit a chair between them. The toilet paper is hard to reach from the toilet for anyone. It's a tub so you'd need a shower chair. There is a railing in the shower. We had a king sized bed that was really very comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. Some things in the room looked updated. Newish paint and floors. We liked the decor on the room walls. (See photos). The room was clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Water leaked out past the shower curtains onto the floor way too easily. The floor was soaked. The bathroom drain made weird noises on and off. Not sure if it was the shower, the sink or the pipes. The air condition worked well and helped to drown out the door slamming sound a bit. Which happened all morning long. We didn't check out the Continental breakfast because there is rarely anything we can eat at hotels. We eat healthy, plant based diets. You'd think it would be easy enough to offer sourdough bread, fresh cut fruit, dairy free oatmeal, potatoes without butter. I'd stay again if we passed through. Love that they are dog friendly.

A Surprisingly Cool Spot in Grand Junction…read more We decided to stay at The Melrose on a quick trip to Grand Junction--and I'm so glad we did. Everything is keyless (no front desk!), and you use your phone for entry and concierge contact. Super modern and smooth from check-in to checkout. The first night felt almost eerie... like I was the only guest! It was that quiet. I wandered around downtown, grabbed dinner, and when I came back, I started seeing a few other people. The outdoor area was a gem--relaxing by the firepit under the glow of the neon rose sign was the perfect way to unwind. Parking is conveniently located in the lot to the left of the building. It's paid, but easy to use through the app--averaging about $10 a day. By the second night, the energy picked up a bit. The bar onsite had opened--but closed before I could make it back out. Thankfully, on my final night, I caught the last 30 minutes and got to enjoy two fantastic cocktails served in these fun, festive ceramic mugs. The drinks felt handmade, and the bartenders were super friendly. Lots of guests and even locals seemed to enjoy the outdoor space with drinks in hand, which gave it a relaxed, social vibe. Inside, I stayed in a double room--huge, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and I appreciated having a fridge and coffee pot. The only tiny hiccup: it took me a bit to locate the outlets, but once I did, all good! We're actually heading back over the 4th of July weekend and booked a smaller room this time to compare. I'm hoping we can make it back in time to enjoy the cocktail bar again--though I do wish their hours were a bit longer. It closes pretty early, and it's definitely a feature worth lingering over. All in all, The Melrose is a fun, stylish stay with a great location and one of the better vibes I've experienced at a boutique spot like this. Would definitely recommend!

The severs and bartenders are also always very nice. Gym is ok and like the hotel a little outdated. They do have an outdoor pool that have seen people enjoy. The only thing holding this back from being great is an update to the rooms and amenities. Won't stop me from staying here and really because of how friendly everyone is.

What I'm about to say does NOT reflect the management or workers in any regard. If you're a light sleeper, don't book here. Other reviews seem to describe this place as pretty quiet but that was not my experience. I really only spent about 7h total in my room but those 7h were louder than a year I spent in a dorm. The walls are SO thin. I heard every text my wall neighbor got at 4am, every suitcase being rolled, every toilet flush, every step above me - and my upstairs neighbors were impressively loud! Consecutive stomping noises for about 2h straight. No idea what they were doing up there but those floors echo like crazy. I had to tiptoe through those hallways in my big ol' boots. And don't get me started on the train that blared a few times an hour LOL. It's this god awful amalgamation of notes that truly don't make any musical sense. I'm a heavy aah sleeper so this all was water off my back, but I couldn't help but think of if my grandma tried to stay: she wouldn't sleep a wink. Frankly, staff couldn't be doing a better job and all of my concerns are just unfortunate parts of the location and building construction. If you're gonna stay here, bring earplugs. TLDR: beautiful but loud!

We arrived late afternoon on August 2nd after driving all the way from L.A. in one day. Strike #1 - When we pull into the driveway it looked like a guy on drugs was playing on one of the parking lot security gates. The ones that raise and lower for you to go past. We told the clerk at the front desk, but we were concerned about my car after that. Strike #2 - Located right next to the Convention Center. If they have big events there it will be really loud if your room is on that side of the hotel. We could hear loud noise until late at night. Strike #3 - The hotel is dingy and really needs to be renovated. It's a step up from the one in Cherry Creek/Denver, but still bad.
