Yes, the one employee that physically committed the acts has been relieved, held accountable and will never be able to work with children or the elderly again, thanks to the justice system. However, the lack of responsibility, remorse and professionalism remains within this center (located in Carthage, NC) as childcare providers and administration who condoned and witnessed this behavior are still employed and have the ultimate responsibility of caring for children that can't defend themselves, and in my son's case, not old enough to communicate when they are being harmed. My son had been attending this Children's Courtyard since he was 8 weeks old and began his enrollment in October 2023. On 30 April 2024 I had the opportunity to go out to my vehicle and open the SproutAbout app they use to live stream the infant room. Upon viewing the live stream, I noticed my son in a Baby Bouncer Infant Seat. This type of seat only has the lap belt, where my son was constantly bending forward touching the floor in front of him and to the side of him. I continued to watch to see if someone was going to address the issue since the lap belt was not restraining him and it did not appear to look safe. As I continued to watch, I saw Ms. ___ grab my son's leg and yanked him down into the seat then proceeded to forcefully push him back into the seat. Upon seeing this, I tried to call the center twice. There was no answer, and it went to a voicemail. I then sent a message via SproutAbout. I went back to the live stream where the same daycare worker (Ms. ___) walk over and sit in the rocking chair that was in front of my son who was still in the Baby Bouncer. Ms___ deliberately and forcefully kicked the entire baby bouncer Infant seat with my son still sitting in it. The bouncer was on top of my son and he was facing head down. He was in the facing down position with the bouncer on top of him for several, several seconds without ANYONE helping him. The same worker that kicked the Baby bouncer Infant seat over finally reached over from the chair she was sitting in to forcefully flip him back over. There were OTHER daycare workers that were facing him that did NOTHING. The other daycare workers said they saw and heard nothing. However, my son was (visibly) crying I jumped in my car and sped to the daycare. When I arrived at the daycare there was no one in the front. I went directly to Infant Rooms 1,2 & 3 where my son was not present. I found a daycare worker in the hall by infant room 1 where I asked her "who is in charge". She pointed to the courtyard in the center of the daycare. I went out there where I found my son and 6 other babies sitting on the ground. When I asked the director who was in charge, she did not acknowledge me at first. That's when I let the director know that "you all are abusing my son". She starts walking away from me, casually walks back inside to the front and I followed where I told her She will Replay the video. After coordinating with the regional director, they agreed to replay the video at the times I let them know I saw him being abused. The police were called (of course). Ms. ___ either left the center or was hiding, as I came in in there obviously concerned / angry / mad / scared / screaming. We took my son to the ER at Moore Regional where he was examined and treated for bruises on his arms, head and clavicle. I am not writing this to hurt the center, I'm informing parents what I wish I knew was going on when I was not "watching". When it came time to hold Ms. ___ accountable through formal proceedings, she made it quite clear this was not only time my son was harmed here.

She cannot get enough and jumps out of the car and rushes inside to get working on her projects and games. She comes home and logs onto her own computer to show us games she has already made and then (and this is just incredible) starts coding right in front of us, letting us choose game options as she does the coding! I can't believe how far she has come, so fast, too! We love the staff -- the director is awesome and Steven, the owner is almost always there too. The hands-on staff are very knowledgeable and engaging with the coders. The building is clean and organized and parents can watch their little coder right through an enormous window. I cannot say enough good things about Code Ninjas!

She was very interactive with every person and kid that came through the door during our tour. She greeted them and asked them questions that I know made every child feel individually special. She talked about each plan in dept and assured me and my mom that our child would absolutely be taken care of and we would get our money's worth. The sensei that helped my son with his coding part of the tour was absolutely amazing and my son has not stopped talking about the experience since. I signed him up at the facility and Tori was more than helpful answering my questions about the App. If you are looking for a SAFE and fun place this is it. Tori even reassured me the safety of my child both during regular hours and during Parent's Night. 10/10 the employees there today need a raise. The classroom was full of students and they were helping my son and still staying interactive with me no problem. 10/10 on the cleanliness as well. Everything was surprisingly very organized and clean despite this being an environment with a lot of children. 10/10 on the Prices and NO CONTRACTS!
