This Y has it all in one place! Including friendly staff & members to greet and help you enjoy your visit. There is a nice lap pool that always has a lane open, even during classes. Lots of variety in pool classes from swimming lessons to some very active water aerobics. Lots of new equipment is being added to the already state of the art weight room. There is plenty of elliptical, rowing machines and treadmills. And a variety of group classes. And there is a place to toss hoops. The YMCA is very COVID minded and provides spray bottles and cloths to wipe down equipment before and after use. It is a great place to bring your family, work out and relax in a hot sauna. Mon-Thurs the hours are 8-12 and 4-8 pm. Friday is 8-12 and 4-7:15 pm. Saturday is 8 - 11:35 and Sunday is 1-4:45 pm. The ladies that work in the daycare area are always so nice and my son loves going to play there while I work out. There is a very nice lap pool and they offer swim lessons for affordable prices. By the pool is a sauna but in the summer, the pool area feels like a sauna itself. They offer all sorts of classes throughout the day including spin, pilates, piloxing, strength train together and TRX. The instructors are really nice and knowledgable. I typically go to the gym between 9 and 11 and though it can be a bit crowded during that time, I never have had any problem getting on the equipment I have wanted.

There was no continuity, no structured workout plan, and no effective system for tracking progress or performance. As a paying customer, I ended up falling behind on at least eight sessions in a single month due entirely to Fit4Life's inability to deliver scheduled services. In November, I met with the manager, who acknowledged these issues and agreed to cancel both my wife's and my memberships so we could attempt to reconcile the missed sessions. I was explicitly told that no further charges would occur. Despite this assurance, both of our accounts were charged again on Christmas Day. At that point, the situation became even more frustrating. My wife is still owed sessions but is now unable to make them up because her membership was canceled -- a decision made by management, not by us. This highlights a broader issue: there appears to be significant internal confusion and a lack of accountability within the organization. After attempting to resolve this matter privately and professionally, I formally requested a refund for the most recent month of training, citing the missed sessions, billing errors, and the satisfaction guarantee advertised on Fit4Life's own website. I also informed them that my family is relocating overseas on military orders, which further limits our ability to continue pursuing resolution in person. Despite all of this, Fit4Life has refused to issue any refund. What is most disappointing is not just the poor service, but the unwillingness of ownership or corporate leadership to step in and resolve an obvious customer service failure. At multiple points, this could have been resolved reasonably and quietly. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on the customer to absorb the cost of services that were never delivered. This review is not written lightly. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve these issues directly before posting publicly. Unfortunately, Fit4Life has chosen not to stand behind its commitments, its satisfaction guarantee, or its responsibility to its clients. I would urge ownership or corporate leadership to review this location's practices, billing controls, and customer resolution processes. Until that happens, I cannot recommend Fit4Life to anyone -- particularly those with demanding schedules or families subject to frequent relocation.

I do like the age ranges and feel that the staff does a good job encouraging each age group to involve others when they can. Our 2.5 year old asks us when she can go to Drop Zone all the time. :) We buy the bigger packages so we get a discount on cost per hour and the punchcard gets you a free hour after every 10! There is a large room for group classes where they teach yoga and Zumba. There are also tanning beds. Both the gym and tanning salon portion offer memberships, but they are really relaxed on the commitments and work with you which is awesome. The prices are great and they offer some discounts. Dianne, the owner, is wonderful and really cares about her customers. There are always festive decorations up, especially at Christmas. The only reason I don't go there anymore is that there isn't a daycare for my son. But I highly recommend it to anyone in the Sanford area that doesn't need that option.

However the level of training you are getting is meant for a big city. The people in this area are really lucky to have Nature Jiu Jitsu located in Sanford.
