Working with management to plan my party was also easy and helpful to choosing options safe for young chefs. I normally don't…read moreleave negative reviews but I was misled because of the reviews so I'll provide our experience so others don't run into our same experience. The positive: they were very accommodating and gave great service over the phone when booking the camp. And it's in a very convenient location for us. The negative: we were given no direction when coming in. We stood there for a min fumbling around trying to figure out what to do and no adult waved my child over or gave us/her any type of 'come join the group' gesture. It was a camper my child recognized from the ymca camp that came to get my child and show her where to go and sit. They had a large table of what looked like older teens. I couldn't figure out if they were helping or in the camp as well. But again no one that works there even gave us a wink. As I was walking out I seen the camper friend was setting her up a chair that was the only chair turned away from the entire class(I was hoping someone would fix her in the group properly. What I heard from my child after picking her up was that the table of older teens was just that. Also campers and they were mean and harassed the younger kids (I had no idea this camp had older teens). And she said they only let her dump a bowl of flour into something, which was the days 'hands on cooking' lesson. My child was very very disappointed with this camp which is hard to do. I love that this is a smaller local business but if you're expecting anything like sur la table camps or anything like that you will be greatly disappointed. Go in with very low expectations. This is the most expensive camp we've done and won't do again.

We came here at a 3pm on a Monday afternoon and there was maybe one or two other guests playing there. It was a quiet start. Even with the uptick in guests later on, the employees were consistently cleaning up after the children and putting toys back to where they had originally been. It's $12 per kid with adult and $4 per additional adult guest. They don't currently offer membership options but they do have discounted Open Play package plans available: 4 play sessions for $44, 8 play sessions for $84, or 16 sessions for $156. They are designed for children aged 6 months up to 6 years. I absolutely loved the music they played which can best be described as low-fi and chill vibes all around. Just as an example, El Michels Affair- C.R.E.A.M. I can honestly say that this is the first time I've heard music sampling Wu-Tang at a kids play place but I ain't mad about it. There are classes on Mondays and Fridays for the "older kids" aged 3-6. The room looked super cool. They start off with a circle time style stories and songs then move off to the (baby) gated area with multiple sensory play experiences set up on tables. They've got a "calm room" complete with sensory sequined pillow and other touch opportunities, puzzles, books, glitter tubes, and noice cancelling headphones for kids feeling overwhelmed or needing to decompress. There is a variety of robots/toy cars/bugs on shelves on the left hand wall for kids to play with in the quiet (calm) room. The 2 bugs are the only ones that are not remote control operated and can be played with in the main play area. Ask an employee for help and they will unlock the cabinet and provide you with the remote control and instructions for how to operate these toys. They've got wi-fi, classes, so much fun stuff everywhere, and a food and drink area that offers kid snacks for purchase as well as complimentary coffee and tea for the adults! Amazing. Everything about the Wonder Lab is so thoughtfully designed. It is such a cozy and fun and welcoming place and you can really see and feel the effort put into the play space. All the spaces are utilized so well and with varying themes throughout (outer space, arctic felt wall, etc). I could go on and on. I love the Wonder Lab!!!

In all three instances, I would give this facility a 5/5 review. What I appreciate most is how much the instructors (aka techs, aka trainers) care and the values they are emphasizing. Obviously they are looking to promote healthy habits through diet and exercise. But more than that, I am seeing them instill values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Seeing my daughter cheer on the kids in her class and then seeing the other kids rooting her on....I just love it. And when I see one child helping another do a skill or obstacle, working together.... I have no words. Competition is not a bad thing. It definitely has its place, but the ability to work as a team is a far more valuable skill and one that may not come as naturally as competitiveness. The techs are passionate about what they are doing and seem genuinely proud when a child gets a little further up the warped wall then they did last time they tried. Or when a child has better form on pushups than he/she did the prior class. I love seeing the pride and confidence my daughter emits when she figures out a new skill and I feel that same pride and genuine positivity from the instructors as well. She has spent a good bit of time at Warrior Tech, but never gets bored. The instructors are so creative in setting up new obstacles, exercises, and games. I will say they can be strict...but only when it comes to safety and never without good reason. This is, obviously, not a bad thing. When these obstacles are potentially dangerous, I want safety emphasized and I'm grateful for a reasonable amount discipline in the pursuit of a safe environment. If my child were doing something that increases risk of injury (to her or someone else), I would rather her receive a few stern words than a broken bone. As far as the birthday party we attended, it was a great time. So much so, that I booked my daughter's party at Warrior Tech as well. If you have really young ones, I don't know that I would recommend Warrior Tech. I would say at least age 5 on up to adulthood. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having my birthday party here and from what I understand, they have hosted parties for adults! The kids were completely engaged in the activities during the party. Again, you felt the teamwork and camaraderie as the kids ran through the obstacle race with their friends chanting their name. The vibes here are just great! Positive energy. Enthusiastic and encouraging employees. Overall, a great place to work out and have some fun for both kids and adults.

He tells me that the instructors were fantastic. He's 12 and typically enjoys obstacle courses, so this camp was right up his alley. If your kid has no interest in playing on workout equipment and completing obstacles all day, please don't sign them up for the camp. It makes it less fun for the others who are there to get better at their skills. But, if your kid loves running, climbing, and all things ninja warrior, then this is definitely the right place!
