Not only is the quality of rentals excellent (better than any kayak/board rental i've ever used) but the staff is extremely friendly and generous! They were able to deliver and pickup our rentals which made things very easy for us. We thoroughly enjoyed going out on the lake several times and were able to take 2 adults and 5 kids out at once with just the tandem and SUP. Would definitely use for future family camping trips!

We were there during the week and it was quiet.  The owner was very helpful in getting us settled, gave us a winery trail brochure and got some of the rust off our tow bar. Nice little fishing pond out front and the kids and adults were all out there catching little blue gills. The park is only a 20 minute car ride to Presque Isle which is an awesome bike ride and there are lots of restaurants and pubs. There are lots of permanent residents but everyone was friendly. We took a day trip to Niagara Falls to do the Maid of the Mist- it's about two hours away. This is not a fancy park but I would highly recommend. We are a big rig hauling a trailer and it was easy in and out.

It was clean and ready for us when we arrived on Thursday.I Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. We cooked, used the fire pit at night, even though the cabins are close it was quite at night to be able to sleep. It's was like staying in one of the tiny house that you see on TV! You have to bring your own linens, towels but I'm OK with that. There are pots, pans, coffee pot, toaster, plates, silverware so it all worked for us. I would stay here again and recommend it to others going to the area. Oh the only thing that was a challenge was the bathroom mirror! If your 6' or taller you'll be able to use it other wise bring a mirror! ; )

Good size lake with canoe, kayak and peddle boat rentals ($15 an hour). Nice trails and rocks to climb. Could use more restrooms near the trails, though. Nice gift shop and restaurant in same bldg as the lodge. Benches around the lake and grassy area and a beach area is close to picnic tables and the boat house. Bike rentals available too. Very well maintained park. Police around also. Great place for camping and beautiful scenery.

Absolutely the worst camping we have ever done, she refused to let kids ride bikes after 8pm even though it was light out! Said kids couldn't be at the playground without adult supervision even though they were ages 7 to 16. On July 4th weekend we lost electricity the owner plugged our camper which is a 30amp to a 50amp and melted our cord! Absolutely worse camping ground around highly suggest looking into Lesiure lake or hemlock lakes. We were paid through end of the season and went to pick up the rest of our items and they were removed from a site we had paid for!
