Excellent daycare and boarding facility. We have been taking our 2 yr pup here for a year. She had severe separation anxiety and Camp Bow Wow has been a godsend. She now has more confidence, can interact with any dog safely when we hike, and is so good around strangers now that she is welcomed at nursing home as a favorite. The staff is very observant and responds to your pups temperament to make sure they have a fun and safe experience. The facilities are cleaned several times a day. Our pup participates in enrichment activities like scent training and agility training. The staff will send you professional grade photos of your pup. They even have a groomer on staff. I have two dogs. a cat, and some fish, and Camp Bow Wow has taken care of all of these pets numerous times for me. Their service is amazing! Texts when the arrive and when they leave, taking care of the house and mail, and of course, taking amazing care of the dogs. Each time I come home the dogs are tired and happy. They are well taken care of, and the house is in perfect order. The personal touch is what makes the difference for me. The detailed reports when we get home, and when I mentioned I'm a chocolate lover there was even chocolate waiting for me as a special treat when I got home! I think this past February and March was about the fourth time our dog Pippa stayed overnight there, but the first time we were going out of the country (Jamaica). We loved it that while in Jamaica we could watch her in the Play area every day, both by phone and in the hotel lobby on the computers they had set up for guests. She always looked like she was having quite a bit of fun playing with the other dogs. She is always so excited when we bring her to Camp Bow Wow and happily goes off with the various staff members when we drop her off. Total peace of mind, the daily communication and obvious affection for the cats was really great, not to mention that somebody with experience and knowledge was giving the meds and everything. Also the other things like bringing in the mail, putting ice melt on the steps... the services are way more than just seeing that the cats eat while we're gone. Rating as one star because zero isn't an option. Clearly, breed discrimination is company policy at Camp Don't Know Much About Dog Behavior. If you have an 8 lb yipper, this is the place for you, but if you have an 80 lb bully breed who barks like a big dog, you should consider somewhere else. I was aggressively lunged at, barking with teeth bared by a hound mix breed waiting for an evaluation in the reception area. How that animal was not immediately asked to leave and was even considered for an eval is beyond comprehension. read more

We've had Skye for about 6 weeks now. She's 2 1/2 years old. She still has some timid tendencies. We want to work on her training and socializing. The first time we brought her to Camp Bow Wow it took two employees quite a while to coax her in. Once she realized it was other doggies she was in HEAVEN. She got a great first day report card. The second time we brought her she RAN for the door and had another great day. We look forward to her coming into her own with the help of the camp and her new friends. read more

Very dog friendly. U thought of all the ways to make the dogs and owners as comfortble as possible during their separation. And all of the staff were very accommodating to the special needs of my blind Swissy. I love that the staff knows that Skye is my dog when I come in to pick him up, they know the owners and make it easy. The employees (The three I most commonly see) have established a relationship with me, communicate well and are trustworthy. I hardly ever post reviews but Camp Bow Wow really did exceeded my expectations. Every worker there seems to actually love animals and my dog i always excited to go.
