Lt me first start by saying, I had a great time with our churches during our visit. But there are some thing's that really need to be looked into. First off, no cell service. While I know that is basically out of there hands, there is also no telephones in the buildings. Second, very difficult to find a camp leader/director when you need one. Those two things together isn't a good combo. Luckily we didn't have an emergency although we did have a scare as someone feel out of one of the top bunks during the night. The other thing is that the beds need brackets, ALL beds. First night + horrible bed = no sleep. I understand I'm not staying in a hotel but, adding brackets wouldn't be very difficult to do. A bed with no brackets means your head and feet are in the air while the rest is sunk in, similar to a taco.
Other than those things, it's an overall beautiful place with many different things to do. It is a very large area that has multiple things spread out from each other. This is why we felt a telephone was needed. No outside contact. read more
