However, it can get packed when events are happening downtown. Nancy is the designer and owner and she is wonderful. So friendly, personable, and gives great customer service. She is a lawyer, turn fashion designer. In her experience, she could never find the perfect, comfortable pencil skirt, dress and professional clothing. So she designed her own! Her clothes are very stylish and comfortable at the same time. The clothes she designs are made in NYC and she picks out the fabric and sources it. She also has a few other brands in her store, for pants and shirts. Let me tell you... I tried on a couple pairs of pants and they fit amazing! So comfortable, the fit was perfect, great material and high quality. I was not expecting to walk in and find two great pairs of pants. I'm sure if I tried on more, I would have found more clothes to buy. They are truly flattering pants. Pricey, yes, but so worth it. These are classic clothes made of high quality that will last! Not much has made me feel that dissatisfied and dismissed. But, this time. I mean, people have their limits. Let's start at the beginning... This was my first and only purchase from At Home. I purchased a $100 gift card weeks ago, on or around November 20th. The only notification I received was an automated email confirming the order. It never arrived and I was never charged - until one morning earlier this week. A charge for $100 was added then canceled a moment later (weeks after the order was placed) according to my card company I still have received no gift card I have also received zero communication from anyone at the company. In fact, they have made it as difficult as possible to communicate with a human customer service representative. Zero interest in assisting customers. Better for us to get busy and give up so they make more money. Total customer care failure I opened a complaint ticket and I received yet another automated email notifying me that my complaint wasn't in the right dept. So I had to file ANOTHER complaint and got ANOTHER auto email saying it had been received. The only human contact I have had is when I finally got someone (after 4 attempts) to pick up the phone. She told me a gift card had shipped on the 11th of December! That's the first I was hearing about it. She did not address any of these issues I've discussed above and brought to her attention. She did not give me a delivery date. She offered no assistance with my dissatisfied feedback. Is this the closure of my ticket? The feedback vacuum AND the overall buying AND customer service experience has been genuinely appalling. I've never experienced anything like it Honestly, I've never had a company treat me so unimportantly or insignificantly before. Especially since I've gone out of my way to show this company patience and extend a little good faith while waiting for some sort of attempt to retain me as a customer. So much for that As things sit currently, I just received a one sentence email from a "Customer Service Specialist" that simply said, "We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience." No sign of a gift card yet, or even a charge, or shipment confirmation notification. We'll see how it goes at Christmas when it's time to give my sister her gift card since... I still have received no gift card Yes, seriously. When asked to try the clothes on, I was handed a wad of dirty, stained, and RANCID smelling clothes. The white dress shirt I was handed to try on was yellow around the neck from sweat stains and probably hasn't been washed in a year. It smelled so bad I had to go home and shower! The pants were ripped to the point I couldn't even latch them to see if they fit correct, and the shoes had YARN being used for the laces. As I was leaving, I told the staff they needed to wash their clothes and let them know on how disgusting they were. I was told the store manager will "not take them home to wash them". Why would they be taken home to be washed anyways? You're a suit shop. Use dry cleaning. It was like they went to the back and grabbed clothes out of the dirty hamper for me to try on. In what world do you not wash clothes for MONTHS for customers to try on??? Get it together. Pathetic and I will not be back. Shame on this store manager.

They do tend to have great value sales where I occasionally find a tool to add to my collection. Even though I continue to have exceptional customer service from Steven in hardware and Paula at self checkout. They are ridiculously under staffed. I dread coming in on the days they're off, and knowing that I won't have someone stay with me untill I find exactly what I need. And not to take anything away from other hard working employees. But there are those super stars who go above and beyond to make sure their customer is happy finding exactly what they need.
