I was expecting it to take a…read morewhile but the procedure was fast, and I barely had any of the pain/swelling that my friends who've had their teeth extracted experienced. If all my friends weren't from Boston, I would've recommended this office first thing to them for any oral surgery. (My sister had her wisdom teeth extracted in Boston and she had to go to the ER from the pain. When she called the dentist who extracted it the staff told her he was out and had to wait a couple days.) Their staff is amazing. I had to change my appt, and they accommodated it right away. I also had to call after office hours regarding my ride (had to make last minute emergency changes because of the storm) and Dr. Kurtz called me back not even 5 minutes later to answer all the questions I had. Their office is also one of the cleanest and friendliest facilities I've ever visited (and I've moved a lot and been to many different dentists). Overall, I'm definitely giving them a 10/10!

Very unpleasant and repeatedly contradicted the explanation of benefits we received from our insurance (confirmed in written and oral form) which the practice is bound to abide by as part of the network agreement. They wanted us to pay the full price tag for our daughter's wisdom teeth extraction and deal directly with Anthem for reimbursement afterwards, even though they are listed as an "in network" provider. Not wanting to pay $1,400 more than the amount the insurance confirmed we should pay (Approved Amount), we had to cancel the procedure.

Their front office support was very understanding and accommodating and Dr. Gujaran did an outstanding job re-fitting my crown. It required meticulous tooling. I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.

I just had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Rissolo and his team. Everything was outstanding from…read morebeginning to end. I called for an emergency consult and they were able to fit me in the same morning. I waited a bit when i got there but was ok with that since i was not on the schedule. Dr. Rissolo came in, took a look and noticed so much swelling, he said he would be able to pull the tooth the same day but i had to go back to work. He rinsed and cleaned the area and prescribed antibiotics so i was comfortable enough for the procedure the next week. Week later (today lol) went back for removal and was extremely nervous, he explained what he was doing every step of the way and made sure i was ok. Explained post procedure care and made sure i was comfortable before i left. I would recommend Dr. Rissolo over and over again!
