It's what I wanted in a cheese pretzel.

I had 3 pieces and was ready to fight my coworkers for my 4th! :) Update - Visited in person and it was ever better! Truly a good place to eat chicken. Great pricing. The only thing I disliked were the cheap round fries. These suck. Lots of places think they're great (aka Marathons) but there are so many better to go with. Definitely recommend.

To be honest with you, I've never had such good Portuguese chicken in a very long time. I mean if you wan't delicious flavour their chicken is amazing and so tender. I totally recommend this place in laval. There salad however was real disappointing!!! It tasted old and rotten. :/ how do you screw up a salad????!! The tomatoes were reall rotten and mush and they served me romaine lettuce during the ecoli scare so theyre not very careful about that. However, if you're into Portuguese chicken alone definitely order just the chicken alone,

If, on the other hand, they're parked nowhere near a burger joint and you're "jonesing" for a sandwich that Jughead Jones himself would love, then go eat their burgers; they're delicious.

Initially drawn in by the bacon and salamis (in hopes that we could sneak something back home to the US), my dining partner and I returned for the outstanding sausage sandwiches. We both ended up getting swiss cheese infused sausages-- positively bubbling with mild, gooey cheese-- with mustard and pickles as a nod to a classic Cuban sandwich. Seeing everyone else order saurkraut we opted for a little of that too... and were stunned. This, friends, is one of the most perfect sandwiches I've ever eaten. The baguette on which the toppings were served was chewy, crunchy, and hot. The saurkraut-- something I'm not normally a fan of-- was crunchy and fresh and provided a nice mildly acidic counter to the rich, fatty sausage. Solid mustard and tasty pickles. My dining partner and I sat in silence just savoring these sandwiches. To note-- if ordering from the food cart, pay inside first and get a number. Kudos to the friendly clerk willing to make us sandwiches even though we hadn't done this formality before stepping in line. Anyhow, I'll be hiding in my kitchen trying to figure out how to recreate these delights.

Located smack dab in the middle of the food court at Place Alexis Nihon is this "muffin" café. I…read moreput the word muffin in quotation marks because this place sells way more than muffins. In fact, when my kid and I visited, we didn't see a lot of muffins here (maybe they had sold out. We were there around 2pm on a weekday). We DID see lots of sandwiches and wraps, a few salads, and there were tons of beverages offered, too. We opted to share a seafood wrap which was perfect for two people, as each half was quite large. And it was good and fresh, too (super important when dealing with seafood!). It was very good (my expectations were low, and I gotta say, this wrap was delicious). My kid had a strawberry banana smoothie which she said was delicious. I ordered the cappuccino smoothie, as I love coffee. It was also great, but for some reason, unlike all their other smoothie varieties, they don't offer the cappuccino smoothie in a small size. So I ordered a medium and was only able to have 1/3 of it (it was rich). I wished they offered this flavor in a small size. Prices are reasonable here and, generally speaking, I like the food court here at Alexis Nihon; it is clean, with ample seating and lots of windows, and many different food/cuisine choices. Oh, and nice touch that the mens' and women's bathrooms are here in the corner of the food court, too.
