No one called me or bothered to answer my calls, texts and emails. We had 57 starving children that we had to scramble to find food for late that evening. The next day, I finally received an email from the owner to tell me that they had been in an accident and were to "shy of the situation" to call us. The pictures they had provided to us as supposed proof of the accident, were of an ice cream truck and not the food truck we had even booked. Never again.

My wedding was on July 27th, 2019. The date and time was confirmed on July 16th. The truck was supposed to arrive at 9pm. David Legault and his food truck DID NOT SHOW UP. Here is what happened next: July 27th: - 9:25pm: They ignored my phone call, and NEVER called back. I left a voicemail. - 9:33pm: Another ignored communication, this time an email. July 28th: - David Legault deleted my facebook comments AND blocked me from being able to comment on his page. - David Legault alleged that he and his team simply got the wrong date (which had been confirmed only 11 days prior!), and that the refund was coming. No date was given for this. July 28th, 29th, 30th: - I email David Legault demanding clarifications and timeline of the refund. No response until: July 30th: - I receive an email stating that the refund will be in my paypal account August 7th. -THE REFUND WAS PARTIAL: $2600 instead of $2650.46. - I informed David Legault of this, and NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I emailed David Legault July 30th, August 1st, August 2nd, August 3rd, August 4th, August 5th and August 6th. STILL NO RESPONSE. Today is August 7th, AND THE REFUND IS NOT IN MY ACCOUNT. We called him this morning, and were given the same runaround answers and NO APOLOGY for his lack of communication. Today we learned that he also SKIPPED OUT ON A SECOND WEDDING reservation for August 3rd. Throughout this process, David Legault and D-Burger Mobile Pincourt have NOT been transparent, have NOT answered communications, and have NOT demonstrated sufficient good faith for  me to have any confidence in them as a business. The refund has now been received (aug. 7 at 12:06pm).

Until I had Mignon's churros today. I noticed the truck parked near the McCord museum as I was heading home from work. The huge letters on the truck intrigued me. Walking closer, I got a whiff of warm, divine, sugary vanilla. Churros!! I had a 10$ in my wallet and decided to give it a try. I was the only one in line, and ordered a cone of churros for 7.75$ (a bit expensive). Fresh churro dough was immediately dropped into a vat of oil and not even two minutes later, golden, crispy churros were rolled in sugar and presented to me. What a smell! What a sight! It was crispy on the outside, yet undescribably soft, moist and chewy on the inside. The dough was actually slightly salty, a perfect match with the sugar coating. In no way were these oily or heavy. Perfectly made, perfectly perfect. This is it, my favorite churros ever!!

The tater tots seem to be something special here that everyone wants to get their hands on. Unfortunately they just ran out at around the 1:00pm when we stepped up to order. I'll be left wondering what was so good since everyone had a look of despair once they realized there was none left. FRIED CHEESECAKE - Probably the savior of our meal. The price-tag was decent, only $6! So I grabbed one and got some lemonade to go with it.... and disappointed would be an understatement after my first bite. Sure it looked appealing with lots of meat but the taste/sauce was pretty plain to me. It lacked character and emotion... ultimately I felt forced to eat so mediocre and once I ended up halfway into the sandwich... look at that... no more meat... just lots of salad leafs though? I've had a lot of pulled pork in my life and this didn't hold its ground at all. And the lemonade? It was pretty watered down. This was shameful.
