The complaint was similar but not involving the composition of the ceramic used as filler. There were X-Rays that clearly showed the root canal was done properly. As I recall there was an implied neurological problem with the patient. It's unfortunate the diagnosis wasn't initially more accurate. I felt for the young lady and hope all turned out well with her. I find Dr. Lawaty most empathetic. After several days of pain she finally gave me a shot of Novocain and I fell asleep exhausted during the root canal. Recommend you ask your dentist to refer you to Dr. Lawaty for and dental surgery. I'm unsure if she implants crowns.

Dr. Riviera is a good oral surgeon but the office manager is grossly incompetent. If you do not want to spend hours waiting there, go to another practice -- there are many qualified oral surgeons in Santa Barbara, whose office managers are effective and competent.
