Horrible business. The following are 3 bad experiences I've had with them. But even worse is how stupid I am to have gone back to them for cleaning after just the first bad experience. #1- they lost a sports coat of mine. #2- I had them sew a button on a pair of pants. I had the button, it was just loose. They charged me $20 just to sew on the button, outrageous. Then I swore I'd never go back. But since I couldn't find another dry cleaner within 100 miles I took in a shirt to be cleaned...#3- They charged my credit card before even picking up the shirt, without asking. Then when calling them on it, I was told since my credit card was on file (only because I previously paid with that card), I was told if that card wasn't on file, I'd have to pay for the cleaning I wanted beforehand. So, if none of these 3 issues don't bother you then go ahead and be taken advantage of. But for me, I'd rather go around wearing dirty cloths than use Camelot Cleaners again!!!! read more

This would be zero stars if that was an option. My daughter's white prom dress had dirt stains all around the bottom of the hem, and we had a buyer interested in purchasing. I had her bring it to Brennans in Osgood to be cleaned, and while there, she called me because the manager wanted her to know the risk of the sequins at the top could come lose. I had her put the manager on the phone with me who said that most prom dresses don't recommend dry cleaning. I asked her if she was suggesting that I take it back home and spot treat myself and she said no, they could clean the dress but wanted me to know the risk involved regarding the sequins. I agreed to take that chance and left the dress to have them clean, but I was terribly disappointed when I picked the dress up. There was a tag attached to spot treat the bottom of the dress, but the dress and stains looked exactly the same as when I brought it in. In fact, no issue with the sequins and the dress was still all in tact. However, the dirt staining around the bottom of the hem wasn't even lighter to give any sign there was an attempt to clean it. I voiced my concern at pick up and was told by the employee that they could try it again, but that I would still need to pay the the bill of $23. Since I had a buyer who had waited 6 days for the dress and was on her way over, I declined and went home and scrubbed the dirt stains out myself. I returned the following week to ask for a refund and was told the manager, Andrea Berg, would need to call me. I received her call this morning who said she would not provide a refund, they don't guarantee stains to come out (yet they all came out for me after I spot cleaned myself), and wouldn't acknowledge the conversation we had on the phone previously when the dress was brought in. As I told her how dissatisfied I was with their customer service, she hung up on me. Sadly, we have had a similar situation a few years ago and gave them another chance. Also, when I was there to pick up the dress, there was another customer in front of me who was dissatisfied with his clothing not being cleaned either. read more

Everyone that I've encountered who works here seems just absolutely miserable. Either they're terrible to their employees or really bad at hiring. The cleaning was good, hence the 3 stars and the proximity to my home. However, if a more friendly cleaner opens in the area I will be switching. read more

During this holiday season, I called 4 other dry cleaning location in Fargo/Moorhead. After explaining the need for expedited service, each place told me it would be a 1 week turnaround for dry cleaning. Finally, I called Brenan's, explained the need for fast service and they said they could have it done in 24 hours. They did just that, were nice and professional. Highly recommended! read more

Always timely and pleasant. They have never lost anything, always are quick, prices are reasonable, open great hours, nice location. They also give coupons every once and a while to the returning customers, which is a great and unexpected bonus. read more

Recently moved to the Fargo area for work and my job requires me to wear a suit everyday. Brenan's is the only place I'll bring my dry cleaning to. They're polite, very understanding, and do an excellent job! Would definitely recommend to anyone with dry cleaning needs. read more

I will never step foot in this place again as they are a complete ripoff and ruin peoples stuff without any concern or remorse. I brought my stuff to Brenan's on two different occasions as I was new in town and saw that it was close to my house. The first visit I dropped off a king down-filled comforter needing dry-cleaned. I went and picked it up two days after I was told it would be ready as my schedule didn't allow me to get there any sooner, brought the comforter home and it felt like it was still wet and had a slight odor. I wasn't sure if it was a wet feeling or if it was just cold from sitting in the dark somewhere. So I let it sit out for the weekend and returned home to find it was in fact wet and now had a horrible smell. I went into Brenan's and the asked the lady if they had just thrown it in the washing machine and didn't dry-clean it as I had requested. She couldn't answer me so I demanded a refund and she told me she wasn't authorized to do that but a "Darcy" would be in contact. I never once received a call from anyone and was out the $30 I wasted on them ruining my blanket and then had to take it to Camelot Cleaners to see if there was anything they can do so another $40 there. Camelot informed me that the feathers inside the blanket were not properly dried and had probably started to grow mold, etc. $300 comforter down the tubes. When I came in to discuss the comforter being ruined and asked exactly what had happened to it, I was so scared to pick up the two mink blankets from overseas, that I had dropped off the week prior to all of this drama. She handed them to me in a clear bag and instantly I could see the fur had been ruined by them putting it in the washing machine as the fur changes textures and gets really coarse and rough. There is no going back and no way to correct there HUGE mistakes. My father brought those blankets back from his military tour in Korea when I was little. Again was told that "Darcy" would be calling me to discuss but had to pay $37 to be allowed to take them with me. I am so deeply disappointed in not only their lack of processes and professionalism but that I am also out my family keepsakes. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I now take all of my stuff to Camelot Cleaners and they are great at telling me what they can process here in Fargo or what needs to be sent to the cities. read more
