There were books worth over $100 used and they were going to give us only .25 per book. This is a ripe off. It might be a good place to buy books but don't sell your books to them.

As I pulled into the parking lot, I didn't have many expectations. However, when I walked through the door, I was quickly proven incorrect! TYB is a cute, quaint bookstore that is filled with a great amount of books by genre and for a variety of readers. The staffer that was there was extremely helpful and happy to share some ideas for the book for me to purchase. I was in need of a book for my work travel, since I'd accidentally read my book too fast and did not bring up a backup book (rookie mistake). I perused the romance section, new releases, sale section, staff picks, and every nook and cranny of the bookstore. I finally settled on a new release, which was actually a signed copy -- bonus for me! I also snagged a really cute book for me (soon to be) nephew, as I've been building out his library as I've been building out mine with my independent book store visits! Overall, this is a great store for Birmingham, as they don't have a huge local bookstore options. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stop by and grab a book...or three! Exactly what you'd want out of a local, quaint independent bookstore.
