This little library is lovely - set in a quaint old building, the library itself is bright with natural light, well laid out, always clean and tidy when I've been there and it has a very pleasant atmosphere.
The librarians are helpful and friendly, always on hand to assist. The books are well maintained and the automated system for taking books out and returning them is easy to use.
I've watched young children being totally engrossed in choosing their books. The librarian at the library I went to as a child, in a then-poor area of London, was the biggest influence in my love of books and reading (second to Enid Blyton, of course). I am sure having this facility in Camelford will do the same for children here. read more
