Amazing living during our time at Camden North End. Very well maintained, well-staffed and very professional staff members. The residents are respectful with may working professionals and responsible retirees. The amenities are top notch and the billing is consistent and transparent. Gotta love the valet trash service- just pop it right outside of your apartment door. The apartments are modern with sleek designs and spacious rooms and walk-in closets. Some are up to three bedrooms. Two great dog parks within the gated community which is conveniently located near so many restaurants, spas, great hotels and a large cinema, Lucky Strike lanes, and fantastic grocery stores. Also super close to freeway access. If you're new to the area, you won't be disappointed with this location. And having been a resident at another Camden property location 25 years ago the last time I moved to Arizona, I can say that their amazing service and upkeep has never wavered. read more

This review is strictly for my experience with Brandon Risinger in the leasing office as he truly went above and beyond in every aspect! I came in without an appointment was greeted by him immediately. I expressed to him what I was looking for and he was SO thorough in explaining all my options and really took time to figure out what my perfect scenario would look like. I had actually toured this community in the past, but wasn't impressed by the staff (attitude, knowledge, professionalism etc.) but gave it another try and Brandon healed by previous poor experience. He was kind, considerate to what I was looking for, super knowledgeable about the community, and really seemed like he cared about helping me. I've toured dozens of apartments in the Scottsdale area, and my time with Brandon was substantially better than the others. Due to finding a better price elsewhere, I did not end up leasing here, but should I ever consider it again in the future it will be because Brandon made such an incredible impression. 2 stars is honestly generous. 1) Little bugs infested our bathroom and we called Camden multiple times about it. The guy they sent out, his first words were "idk what these are" I talked to my neighbors about it and they said "Yeah that's Camden for you" 2) they accept every dog into their dog park, yes even ones that are extremely aggressive. 3) the last month you live there, if you move out on the 3rd you're supposed to pay for the 3 days over right? Wrong. Camden will charge you the full month regardless if your lease ended at the beginning of the month. 4) want your security deposit? Not possible. I am now on my 7 weeks with no deposit back and in AZ state landlords have 14 days to return your deposit. I would never live here again. You might as well find a home you can rent or check out the apartments across the way. Same price, better living. read more

We absolutely fell in love with these apartments when we first moved in over a year ago. But If you are looking for a smoking-free place to live this is absolutely not it. They claim to be, but there is no enforcement so it makes it miserable if you are sensitive to smoke. There are constant reports of theft on the neighborhood board, there was recently a shooting while the gate was broken and propped open for five weeks, etc. This place does not make me feel safe. read more

I'm giving this place two stars because the apartments really are nice, but that's about it. Where to start.... 1. Parking - Horrible! They didn't plan for the proper amount of cars, period. There is no available uncovered parking during certain times of the day and you're pretty much out of luck if you come back later than 11:00pm at night. They provide you with one covered parking space per unit or garage (you need to pay for both) and if you have more than one car as most people do, you're screwed because there are no uncovered parking spots left. People park in the handicap spots, across the street at a new senior citizen apartment community or in between the dumpsters. They've admitted that they have this problem but suggest you buy a covered space. Insane. If you have guest come over, they'll be out of luck as well. Seriously. If you have more than one car, look for a different complex. You've been warned. Side note: I think they have roughly 37 uncovered parking spots for something like 400 apartments in 6850 (the newer complex). Do the math, if half the apartments have another driver, you're short over a hundred spots. 2. Smokers - The hallways are constantly filled up with a strong odor of pot. The good news is that unless you live next to one of these idiots who smoke it, you'll be okay once you get inside your home. The complex is aware of the issues from the community board and they ask that you call them to report the smell, but then they do nothing about it. There are swabs and wipes which can detect pot used in an apartment, but they refuse to buy them. Even now, my daughter came in and noticed that the hallway smells like burnt s*** again. 3. Theft - Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of packages that are stolen. While the complex has some security cameras and gate access control, there's always the low-life's that find a way in by piggy backing when you open the door, or from doors where the locks aren't working properly. Lot's of delivery theft as well. They've had a security patrol come in and walk the area, but not sure if it's every so often or just a quick show up, check the box that they've been here and then leave. 4. Insane prices that rise and fall. First, they charge you for cable if you want it or not and it goes with their internet package for roughly $110 dollars per month. The internet freezes every so often when there's a good amount of traffic so be prepared to have your streaming interrupted. They also charge you for the hallway bill and electric for other parts of the community where everyone chips in. After I pay $2500 for a two bedroom per month, there's always an additional $45, $60, $70, or $90 dollar bill to pay. There's no set amount so it's frustrating. This place could be great, but instead, under this management, it's crap. When they address the parking, the pot smokers, and adding more cameras, then I'll raise my stars. I lived at these apartments for almost 3 years. The apartment themselves are nice. They are quiet for the most part. They did a very good job when building them you very seldom hear your neighbors so they did a good job with soundproofing. The reason I give this place a one is over my entire experience living at this place. They were constant problems such as break ins, theft, garbage everywhere, constant malfunctions with the amenities, chirp access. System, parking is a nightmare, homeless people, living in the stairwells and the list goes on and on. My personal favorite is there quick to charge you for things like trash pick up for example, but then, when your trash doesn't get picked up, some months around a dozen times and you ask for them to refund you for the month you'll get laughed at. The office management staff literally would do nothing about any of this and if you asked for help it always seemed as you were inconveniencing them. If you go into the office with something as simple as getting a new key fob made, it may take you a half a dozen plus times or more to get this accomplished. You'll get excuse after excuse of why they can't help you at that moment in time. Even though when you walked in the vast majority of the time they are doing absolutely nothing on multiple occasions I walked in well employees were FaceTiming personal phone calls and would sit there and continue the conversation and make you wait and keep giving you looks like you're disturbing them when they should be helping you. Generally from my experience when you get somebody who is new in their first few weeks, you can get whatever you need accomplished taken care of immediately. It seems like it takes a few months of them working there before they get the I don't care attitude like the rest of them. On at least a half a dozen or more occasions, I have caught them in lies. I've been told that they don't make keys for the apartments if you happen to lose them, which is a lie because the maintenance man has a whole key set up and the machine to make copies. The maintenance people will happily help you and I have nothing bad to say about the maintenance crews. They are absolutely awesome and amazing and they do a great job if you ever have anything that needs to be fixed in your apartment. On two occasions of my three or stay here, new people would move in and the office would assign them my mailbox and a key to it. So on multiple occasions I've had to track down my mail. That other people have taken and get with the office and see why they did this and you always get. Oh our bad sorry about the mistake. They literally don't care. The old manager that was promoted internally within the company was one of the worst of them. Instead of being promoted, she should've been fired in my opinion. Clearly, it doesn't take much to move up the corporate ladder at Camden. I've met rattlesnakes that have had better personalities, and are friendlier than she was. I see a few people with five star reviews and they talk about how friendly the staff is so on and so forth, and that was exactly what I experienced when I first toured the apartments and was moving in. Everybody was super friendly and very happy and very genuine to deal with. Once you sign that lease and get moved into your apartment they don't care about you at all and I've talked to dozens of the residents that live/lived there, and everybody says the same thing. I'd like to also say that some of these problems on this property aren't the staff's fault like the garbage laying around problems. I'm really surprised considering the amount of money you pay for an establishment, such as this place on how dirty and how terrible people are today. Self entitled, spoiled Snotsdale people once they get here I guess. So renters beware and good luck. There are a few decent people here that I have met over the years. I went to inquire about renting a 2 bedroom apartment there last week with high hopes based upon the description from the manager at Camden Legacy. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted and walked through the common areas to the main apartments. This is where I become disenchanted. I walked inside the air conditioned building and saw a long corridor. On the right hand side the was about 30 doors and on the left probably 1/2 the amount. She told me that the right side were the garages. (holy hell!) At the end of this incredibly long corridor was ONE elevator. An extremely long walk from an assigned garage to the ONE elevator , especially when you're carrying groceries, then to your unit, back down the one elevator all the way to your garage! Idk, doesn't work for me. If I were to give you a visualization of this for you, imagine American Horror Story Hotel (without the horror) Season 5. Now the apartment. Whoever designed them didn't have a clue. First, No linen closet in the master bathroom, why? All the refrigerators are upper/ lower instead of side by side- horrible concept- especially for those who have lower back issues , plus the lower freezer is so tiny!Kitchen cabinets are sparse. Countertops aren't granite, for the price of a 2 bedroom, with a 1 car garage (approximately $2,300) you'd expect more for your buck! This place will be massive (over 800 units). If you're into industrial type settings, I guess you'll like this, otherwise, keep shopping. read more

This is a beautiful apartment community with many different floor plans to choose from (some posts say that they don't have specific apartment amenities and they do in my apartment). I am in a 2 bed 2 bath corner unit. The layout is great and we love the features. It is very modern and you pay for what you get. The reason for my 4 star review is due to construction (which we were aware of so it is not a huge deal) and either my upstairs neighbors have very heavy footfalls or the way they are building the apartments are not allowing for that extra padding under the flooring to prevent excess noise. Overall, everyone seems very nice (including the leasing staff!), the apartment itself and the community amenities are beautiful. Location is great too, they are right off the 101 loop. read more

Resident dumped urine and feces off 4th floor for 7 months. Management did nothing after repeated residents complains with photos and video. A lady and child was hit and that's when they finally evicted the individual. the theft is the highest i have ever seen from packages to breaking in cars and vehicle theft. they have gates that are always open and no security and most cameras are not working. The staff is rude and does nothing to help in any situation. I would not rent there under any circumstance. i had to get my amazon and other packages delivered to friend the package theft is so high. avoid this place at all cost. read more

Is it possible to write a quality one-star review, without sounding too upset? That's my goal here... Camden North End Apartments was, without question, the absolute worst living situation I have ever had. Mismanagement by those working in the leasing office, through their refusal to listen to the concerns of residents, turning a blind eye to crime, and simply not keeping up with the maintenance and "curb appeal" are at the forefront of my experience here. There are a few specific things I want to highlight in my review: 1. The community board, where residents can post meet-ups, pictures, or ask questions, is overrun by complaints on stolen packages, stolen vehicles, lack of any security cameras on and around the property, broken security gates (to which trespassers are commonly reported on property), and general observances of negligence by management. When I gave my notice of vacating my unit, the property manager asked me why. I cited the community board and the crime being reported. Now, I was a resident in "Phase One" (6800), and the head manager responded to me by saying, "That's only in Phase Two" (6850). In saying this she admitted there was an ongoing problem, and did not offer a fix, but stood her ground as my complaints fell on deaf ears. 2. If you call the phone number for the leasing office, you have a 0% chance of talking to someone at the on-site leasing office, and a 100% chance of talking to the national Camden Properties office. I don't know how to explain it; the phone rings, nobody answers from the leasing office (no matter what time of day or day of the week during business hours), and gets transferred along to a general Camden employee. I find it hard to believe every single time I've ever needed to ask a question, nobody has been able to answer me. If you ask to be transferred to the on-site office, the phone will ring indefinitely, with no answer. The only way to talk to someone on site is to physically walk in to the office. 3. Finally, I'll cite the many low quality residents that lived here during my lease. This third point isn't so much the company's fault, but more of just an observation I've never experienced at any other complex. As a new, beautiful property in North Phoenix/Scottsdale, one would expect residents to reflect their surroundings. However, that is far from the truth. During my short six months here, there were two notifications of "domestic disputes with a firearm discharged" where police were called on site, and residents were told to stay in their units. There was also a large car fire that took over 5 months to clean up, and even on my last day, the new car port was not fixed/installed from being melted, displacing an entire row of covered parking. A pool was shut down for a month from broken glass (isn't that the number one rule with pools, no glass?) and the other pool, after being a weird shade of green for weeks, was finally closed for another few weeks for maintenance. Residents leave their dogs to bark all day in their units, which echo down hallways, and won't clean up after them outside on the rocks or in the dog parks, with a "pickup bag station" a mere 3 feet away. I'll end it here by saying, do NOT live here. If the facilities are great but the management isn't, you can sacrifice to live in a great community. In the reversal of that, good management can make a less stellar community worth staying in. At Camden North End, you'll get neither/nor, and you'll pay an astronomical amount of money to do so. read more

I am beyond blown away by how amazing this community is. We just moved in a few days ago and already, I feel like we made the best choice in choosing this place. We narrowed our search down to a few apartments with Camden being at the top of our list (even though it was more than we wanted to spend for an apartment). We came from a nightmare of an apartment in Goodyear, AZ where everything you can imagine went wrong and the management had a defensive attitude with every problem you encounter. The #1 reason we decided to spend more and choose Camden was because of all the raving reviews about the staff and every interaction we had with them was extremely pleasant. I was never made to feel as if I was a hassle or an inconvenience. I will admit, sometimes I tend to be a very particular person and pay close attention to detail, especially when I'm spending more money than I'd want. The staff so far as never let me feel like I was expecting too much or that i was too high Maintanence. Moving in was went very smooth with Abbey handling everything that needed to be done and the Maintanence team, who made our apArtment so perfect for us. On move in day I got the keys and was explained everything. They even left us a cute move in gift of essentials that most people forget when moving, like toilet paper and hand soap. The Maintanence guy, Jeff, came by and asked how everything was and if I needed anything. He even helped me move two boxes that I was unable to lift myself. I have NEVER experienced a staff that went so far above and beyond. The apartment itself is so great too. Smaller than we are used to, but we got a corner unit and there is so much natural light that helps open up the place. So far, I'm blown away and my wife and I wake up every morning feeling so excited to have found such an amazing place to live with a management team that truly cares about their tenants. It I'll update again after I've been here 6 months or so. The only complaint I have is how far I have to walk to my assigned parking spot. Hahaha But that's just me being lazy. read more

I lived here for a year and had the best experience! We moved in summer of 2019 and enjoyed working with the staff to start off our experience picking and apartment that we loved. When we moved in, the entire apartment had been cleaned and looked like no one had lived in it before. There were friendly neighbors and staff that always made me feel welcome and helped us when there were any problems. Brianna and Alexis were always so helpful and made sure anything we needed was done in a timely manner! The amenities are great and we loved using the pool and the fire pits at night. I have a golden retriever and loved how dog friendly the location was. We would go meet up with all of our friendly neighbors at the dog park so he could play with some other pups! Now that I am officially moved out of Camden and have made my final payments, I finally feel comfortable to leave an honest review with no possibility for retaliation (i.e. false charges after move out due to writing a negative review). My husband and I toured Camden in February 2022 and needed to rent somewhere relatively quickly. Well, our mistake, it should have been a red flag when every complex in the area was at or very near capacity and Camden had a plethora of options we could move in to immediately. The leasing office is tidy, welcoming, and the staff does a phenomenal job at selling the community as a luxury, well-kept place. They should receive an award for their acting. Upon moving in, things went downhill. Fast. While the community is largely young working adults, it still has ALL the issues of a college dorm. Loud yelling/talking/music at all hours, nonstop barking dogs, hallways that smell like garbage and pet urine, disgusting stairwells, and crime to top it off! Best of all, the leasing office does NOT answer calls or emails. Your call gets redirected to the general Camden help line. I learned every time I called to ask if it was the North End leasing office like I had dialed, and 0 times was it the leasing office. They would give the generic "their line is busy so it reroutes your call to us." Which is funny, since if you walk into the leasing office, which is the only way to speak to them directly, there will be at least 5 staff members in there walking around and laughing, and they will make you wait in the lobby until they decide they are done with their personal conversation to let you in. Maintenance is a joke, we called for a serious complaint (fridge/freezer not cold), they came in, laughed, and said we didn't know how to properly shut the door. .....ok? I am thankful I lived with my husband and we have similar enough schedules that I never had to walk to my car alone. Safety as a female was a huge concern of mine. There are no cameras and no security patrol. Camden reported a stolen car, trailer, motorcycle, and license plate during our time there, 2 domestic disputes with discharged firearms INSIDE UNITS, a major car fire that took 5+ months to clean up and, of course, stolen packages, mail, etc. The gates to the community (car and pedestrian) are commonly broken or left open, and staff does nothing to address security issues. If you happen to move in (sorry in advance), read the history on the community board of women being harassed by men in cars, being followed around the complex, non-residents' presence in buildings/mail room/gym, and other instances of unhappy residents concerned for their safety in the place they are supposed to call home. I lived at 6800 building 2, be aware that there is dog poop everywhere, but especially all around this building. Residents frequently let their dogs poop everywhere while ignoring the poop bag stations and will let dogs use the restroom inside hallways/stairs/elevators and not clean it up, and clearly face no repercussions as it continues on a near daily basis. I understand it is difficult to catch the culprits, but if management cared at all for the cleanliness of the community and happiness of their residents, they could surely figure something out. Our lease was supposed to be through November but we left at the end of July out of frustration, irritation, concern for our safety, and disgust with the property and its management. I will never recommend a Camden property. Paying the lease break fee was a better option than staying here until the end of our lease, especially with the amount they are charging. read more

My husband and I and our 2 huskies moved into Camden North End in September 2020. Previously we lived in Camden Chandler for 2 years. We love Camden and we love it here! They offer a transfer program where you can 'transfer' your lease from one Camden property to another, and it was a very seamless and easy process! We love the amenities, the staff, the culture, and the location here at North End. The amenities are open 24/7 (pool, bbq, fire pits, gym, dog parks, etc). North End recently opened part of their phase two development, so now all residents have access to even more amenities. 2 pools, 2 gyms, 3 dog parks, etc. With 2 huskies, the dog parks are very important to us! Everything is maintained very well. The pool was closed once due to broken glass, which took a couple days to fix. Other than that, no issues with amenities being closed or anything broken. The maintenance staff is amazing! They are friendly and always say hi or wave when they are driving by, they go above and beyond to be helpful. They address issues quickly-- broken ice machine that needed a new part, new air filters, our dogs locked us out of the apartment by accident (the deadbolt!). They hold open doors and have even helped me bring my groceries upstairs! The leasing office staff is amazing too! They are friendly, professional, approachable, and they go above and beyond as well! They made us feel very welcome here during the move in process-- color coded property maps, welcome gift inside our unit, staff came and checked in with us in person on move-in day. One time my husband left his phone at the golf course, and I was at work and did not have a way to reach him to let him know it was found. I called North End and one of the the ladies I spoke with went out of her way to come to our unit to let him know, and she even wrote a letter to leave at the door in case he didn't answer! So amazing! Especially would like to thank Briana and Alexis! The culture here is great. Everyone is either very friendly or just keeps to themselves. No issues. We have made some great friends here! Mostly young adults, working professionals, young families, retired adults. Not many school aged children though. One issue that I've noticed is that not all dog owners pick up after their dogs...which we have encountered at very apartment complex we've lived in (not just Camden). There are dog waste bags mounted at almost every building entrance/exit, and many pet waste stations throughout the property. I've never witnessed someone not pick up after their dog, but it does seems to happen when no one is looking! I would say this is normal though for apartment living. The maintenance crew is wonderful about helping clean up when needed, even though they shouldn't have to. Location is awesome too. Minutes from shopping and the 101. Beautiful views of McDowell! We love our unit and the upgraded finishes! Plenty of storage space. Compared to Camden Chandler- quieter in general (although buildings facing the pool will have more noise), no children's park, gates always operational and almost always closed, larger garages (still single), more parking (sometimes I park a little further away than I'd like, but it is still near my building and I've never not been able to find a spot), indoor hallways and elevators (4 floors), amenities almost always open and not needing repairs frequently, close to highway so there is highway noise. We love it here and are glad to call Camden North End home! :) read more

I moved to Camden North End towards the end of December, and wanted to wait a little before posting a review. I'm happy to say that it was a superb decision. The experience from the beginning has been amazing. Albert (property manager) has bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Jeff in maintenance has been extremely helpful with my requests, and Moet in the leasing office has always answered my questions in a timely manner. Worst customer service ever. Went there to inquire for myself and clients as I'm a Realtor needing a place for clients. Moët name of front desk person could barely stop talking to a male resident who was there with no shirt on, grey hair just chatting her up. The male resident said for me to go ahead as he was just chatting with Moët. The resident stepped back a few feet so I could ask my questions. However he was hovering just waiting til he could resume chatting her up again. She could not control the resident by saying please wait over there to give a possible new resident the space & privacy that would be professional. Explained situation to Robin who also works with Moët. When I explained what happened Robin replied "residents always come in & talk to us". Great location! Inexperienced, clueless, unprofessional leasing staff. The caliber of the leasing staff lowers the caliber of this complex. read more

I don't want to preface this review with anything kind because it just wouldn't be real. The front office staff is terrible at communicating and have a very entitled attitude. They are deceptive with their sales strategies, so be aware. When renewing my lease, I was never told that I would be charged a "community" electric fee, which is around $50-$70 every month. I believe they are bleeding money due to the construction of additional units, and are using shady tactics to make ends meet. Two weeks ago they sent an email asking tenets to be on the lookout for neighbors that fail to bring their trash can inside their apartment by a certain time, and if they catch them, to take pictures and send it to management so that their neighbors can be fined. After learning about the erroneous "community" electric fee I asked about breaking my lease and they have the audacity to want to charge 4 months of rent to leave. I'm sure someone will reply to my comment with some absurd response like "Our fees are comparable with those of other similar companies," but I would suggest you save it for someone that doesn't know better. If you are thinking of living here, do yourself a favor and don't. read more

Before choosing Camden North End, I toured pretty much every other luxury apartment in Scottsdale. Some lived up to their online pictures, and some did not. Some had nice staff, and some did not. Camden North End was the last location I visited, and I signed the lease on the spot. The staff is amazing, service is top-notch, amenities are beautiful, and the apartment finishes are very high quality and stylish! The residents in the community have been extremely welcoming, and everyone is happy to be here! I would highly recommend this as your future living destination! read more

Absolutely terrible management. They are extremely delayed responding to any communication and then make excuses like their website wasn't working. To top it off, they cop an attitude about it rather than apologize. I had to submit a question via the corporate site to get a response, but strange enough this was the same website that I submitted multiple inquires that they previously "didn't receive." Maybe corporate needs to look at who's running their property. read more
