I think I might have spent a little too long deciding what to include in this post, but as someone who has spent a long time renting and had some pretty miserable experiences, I try to include everything I wish I would have known. Apartment reviews can be TERRIFYING, there are some angry renters out there. Here's what I took from my lovely 10 month stay at Miramonte. 1. This apartment doesn't look like much from the outside, and its nothing fancy for sure, but in my experience the office staff is extremely helpful, the maintenance man is reliable and friendly (eventually I even had no problem giving him permission to enter while I wasn't there) and its very reasonably priced. The interiors are updated with nicer carpet, newer kitchens and they have washer and dryers! big plus for me. 2. The pool is awesome, when it works. They have been having some issues but I do believe its fixed now. The gym is tiny but usually empty. 3. its pretty quiet, most of the time. I lived upstairs and was never bothered by my neighbors noise. But I do believe my downstairs neighbor was slightly annoyed by me (and I am not loud and hardly home.) So Point A--live upstairs. I've found that to be true in EVERY apt complex ive ever lived in. Point B--PLEASE NOTE--THIS IS IMPORTANT--there is an elementary school on the east side of the apartment complex. I lived directly up from the parking lot, facing the school playground, and you could absolutely hear little kids playing in the morning. It didn't ever bother me because I work all week, I only discovered this when I happened to be home sick one Wednesday. If you work a Monday-Fri 9-5 you really wont notice so I would not let that deter you from moving in. However if you sleep in late during the week, choose your location carefully, don't get a unit that faces the school. 4. The office staff will really try to be accommodating. A new office manager took over a couple months after I moved in and you can really tell she wants people to be happy about the complex. I lived here while in the process of buying a house and definitely did my share of calling the office staff with questions about extending my lease, ending my lease, month to month options, etc. When my house closed 2 months before my lease ended, of course I couldn't get out of my legally binding contract (no surprise to me there) but I was surprised that they were very helpful about my options to sublease it myself or find someone to take over my lease completely. They definitely did as much as they could. 5. Parking for visitors isnt the worst I've seen but it can be difficult. There are always tons of spots open on the south end of the complex, but in the evenings most of the other public ones are taken. 6. Bugs- always a big concern of mine and I would have no shame in admitting if I found them. (see my other apt review, ha!). Honestly, I found one big cockroach about a month after I moved in, called the office, they had the sprayer come and I never saw another one again. (I lived there for 10 months) 7. charges. They WILL charge you for damages done to your walls or carpets, for anything that is not top-notch clean, or anything that isnt as it was when you moved in. But they aren't trying to scam you. Use your common sense on this one, you get a form to fill out when you move in that lists every detail of every room, FILL IT OUT. Keep a copy. Be present when they do the final walk through and you will be aware of any discrepancies. Just be a responsible renter and you will only pay the standard $35 carpet cleaning fee. Hope that was helpful to anyone considering an apartment here. Granted all experiences and units are different, so if you move in and hate it, whoops. If you move in and like it, as I did, you're welcome.

I never made a maintenance request to fix it cuz it never really bothered me. Had no idea they would charge me if I didn't get it fixed. I asked them for a refund as I found this highly unethical as they wouldn't have charged me if I had made a request. They told me no! Read the lease agreement carefully as they will scam you further more with bs fees like carpet and cleaning. Even if you cleaned and the carpet is fine. Additionally and probably most importantly, the parking here is a disaster. I'm telling you, you will get towed if you sign a lease here. They hire a tow truck twice a week to just come through and pick residents out of THEIR OWN spots. Emily, please reach out to me if you would like to make things right. Apt 4017. UNETHICAL!! Since the new management took over, this place has gone downhill fast. They increased amenities and trash fees while amenities were closed and trash pickup was inconsistent. They also misrepresented our lease terms and told us a deposit premium would drop off after we renewed our lease. Later they said we would be paying it indefinitely. On top of that, they started charging me $20 a month for renters insurance even though I already had coverage, with no communication about needing to resend documentation. Utility charges for shared amenities have also somehow doubled since new management took over. Parking is poorly managed, gates constantly malfunction, and residents have even been towed from spots they pay for monthly with no accountability. The maintenance team is great, but the front office staff is disorganized and rarely resolves problems. The most concerning issue happened when my husband broke his foot in March of 2025. The elevator in Building B repeatedly broke, forcing him to use crutches down three flights of stairs to get to doctor appointments. For a luxury apartment charging over $2,000 a month, having a working elevator should not be optional. Management also made excuses for themselves and were told they were only then made aware that elevators need routine maintenance and not just maintenance when it broke. We were also displaced for over a week after an upstairs neighbor flooded their apartment and had to fight management just to be reimbursed for the hotel. When we returned, our unit was dirty and damaged, even though we left it spotless. (pictures included) Between the constant fees, poor communication, cleanliness issues, and declining management, this place is not the luxury community it advertises itself to be. It feels more like a money grab. Don't just take my word for it. Look at the reviews from the last few years and you will see the same pattern. I hope management actually addresses these issues instead of continuing to ignore residents' concerns

While other luxury apartments kept delaying my application and making the process longer and more stressful, the team here showed genuine care and understanding. Soltra Kierland was actually the apartment I liked the most from the beginning. However, because of my son's school district, I initially had to prioritize another complex. Unfortunately, that situation became very difficult and left me in a stressful position. In the end, after finally being able to enroll my son in school with special permission, I was welcomed warmly at Soltra. Tracie, in particular, was truly exceptional. When I explained my situation, she didn't just treat it as part of her job. She listened with empathy and understanding to a single mother who simply needed a home for herself and her child. Her kindness, professionalism, and human approach made a huge difference for us. Before and after moving in, she continued to help in every possible way, and we are very grateful. The community itself is wonderful -- residents are respectful, the environment is clean and well maintained, and my son absolutely loves the pool. Everything is always taken care of. I would warmly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place with trustworthy and caring management. The rooftop deck is my favorite place on property - it offers absolutely stunning sunset views! I toured several units before moving in and each one was unique and beautiful. I love how many unit options / variations there are. The layout of my unit literally checked off all my boxes, including a large soaking tub and a balcony with gorgeous view! And in over a year of living here, I have only had to put in one single maintenance request! There is an incredible sense of community in the area and within the building itself! There are plenty of events that give you an opportunity to mingle, network, and get to know your neighbors better. I love how detail oriented the property and management is. From the self-controlled misters by the pool, to the black fixtures throughout, everything on property screams elevated. Many apartment buildings claim to be, "luxury". Scottsdale on Main is the first and only apartment building that I have ever come across that actually embodies the luxury apartment lifestyle.
