And you wait again afterwards for an unacceptable length of time to pay the bill. Pets are anxious enough visiting the vet without them having to wait forever to be seen and wait again until the front desk gets around to processing the bill. They expect the patient to show up on time so they should extend the courtesy of minimizing the waiting once you are at the facility. Something has changed at this place and it is not good.

Nonetheless, my experience remains unchanged - and as I will agree with my wife, the vet here does a great job... ‐-‐--------------------------------------------- Stopped in to pick up, mind you, just pick up medicine for my wife's dog, this little excursion ended up being a 30-minute ordeal of a wait... I'm sure the vets themselves are good, but damn, that front desk staff leaves something to be desired. After getting there and announcing myself, I waited a solid 30-mins to pick up a few pills for my wife's dog. I waited as one staff member took care of another patron - in reverse (so to speak) - while the other talked, and talked, and talked to someone about some inane topic that droned on-and-on. I showed up before another couple but ended up waiting longer as that second staff member took care of that couple and got them out the door before I was even taken care of. Excruciatingly frustrating to say the least. I hope to never have to return here, or at least, let it be a long, long, very long time before I do...

They said salvageable, performed minimal care. Meanwhile the receptionist said that they would keep if salvageable. But Vet said otherwise. Poor communication and care. When I called now, spoke to co-owner who admitted that 1 looked "iffy" then they should have euthanized like I asked. Don't waste your time here. Go to Dr Volk or Latrobe Animal Clinic.
