I appreciate the tv monitors on the ceiling when you lay back to allow the dentist or dental hygienist to work their magic. It is for those who suffer anxiety due to not wanting to see the dentist. They have calming videos of fish and sea life that puts you at ease. I don't love the dentist, but I don't have anxiety when seeing the dentist either, but the idea to put monitors on the ceiling for the patients benefit to reduce anxiety shows you how much they care about their patients. Everyone in the practice is very nice. That is refreshing. I like the fact they take my dental insurance. I had a thorough exam done by Guillermo Pradas Checa, he goes by William because most people can't accurately pronounce Guillermo, but I can because of my Spanish background. Guillermo is also from Spain, it was a nice surprise to have a Spanish dentist. He is very knowledgeable and gentle, I have found myself a new dentist, I will keep coming back to The Terrace Dental Centre. My dentist did identify a new problem that I did not know I had, that I grind my teeth at night, he suggested an intervention, and I will be speaking with my insurance and see if they are willing to cover it. My hygienist was great! I didn't get her name, but I have to assume that they are all fantastic. I got a great teeth cleaning, I feel so much better now knowing I have super clean teeth. My hygienist was very knowledgeable and gentle and very kind. I found myself falling asleep during my teeth cleaning, that is how gentle she is, although I woke myself up because I didn't think she'd appreciate a sleeping patient when trying to clean their teeth. I don't know anyone who actually looks forward going to the dentist, but I am actually looking forward to my next check up and teeth cleaning. I'd suggest The Terrace Dental Centre to anyone needing a dentist or looking to change their dentist.

I have been a regular private patient at Godmanchester dental for over 2 years. I disclosed on my…read moremedical questionnaire my disability of post-traumatic migraine caused by a traumatic brain injury in a hit and run accident. This was diagnosed by a Consultant neurologist and is a matter of record. Migraines are a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995. My migraines have a sudden onset and leave me bed bound and unable to communicate. I missed my first ever appointment last week with them due to a migraine coming on in the middle of the night. Once the migraine was receding around lunchtime the following day and I was able to look at my phone, and I noted an email. I was informed that because I had not cancelled my appointment for that morning with 48hrs notice per their policy, I owed them a £150 cancellation fee, which they were reducing to £75 as it was the first appointment I had ever missed. I wrote back briefly apologising and saying I had a migraine and that perhaps the fee should be waived as due to a disability which cannot be predicted 48hrs in advance. The practice doubled down and refused to make any accommodation for my disability in regards to their cancellation policy. So, today I left the practice because they are not disability friendly and I believe my treatment was a violation of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Part III, Section 21 para (1) which states: '´Where a provider of services has a practice, policy or procedure which makes it impossible or unreasonably difficult for disabled persons to make use of a service which he provides, or is prepared to provide, to other members of the public, it is his duty to take such steps as it is reasonable, in all the circumstances of the case, for him to have to take in order to change that practice, policy or procedure so that it no longer has that effect.´' read less
