Now that my vehicles are nearing the end fo their warranties, I have started using them too. They are honest to the end - even where it may cost them (like sending you to a dealer for something that may be under warranty instead of legitimately doing the work that you asked them to do). They are FRIENDLY, they're FAIR and quite honestly, I have never been to an Auto service shop here OR in new Zealand (where I'm from) that I feel more comfortable with and would trust more than these guys. They have no idea what they are doing and the owner is a complete prick and absolutely useless. All he could do was get angry back at me and tell me "You can't be pleased" They ruined my car for the time being as it was fine before I took it to them. I finally took it back to Volkswagen dealer where the alignment was performed PROPERLY and my car has never run better. I am doing my best to tell everyone I know to never go to this place, they should be shut down and thrown in jail.

"Curly," the service manager from this shop, happened to be driving by in his tow truck, stopped, and helped her out free of charge. I got his card from my friend and have been using them EVER since. Curly and his staff are knowledgable, fair, understanding and most of all, HONEST. I have never heard a bad thing about them and from personal experience can say I have never met a more honest mechanic shop. You can search around for pricing on different repairs, and Curly's always comes in the lowest, the service is fast, and you know you are being treated fairly which is ALWAYS a good feeling when getting work done on your vehicle. I couldn't possibly recommend this shop more for auto repairs.

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS unless you want misdiagnosis of vehicle problems, verbal abuse and…read morephysical threats by the owner Mik, and lies about reimbursing the "audio diagnostic test" that he charged $150 for, only for me to take my vehicle to a transmission shop, and they checked the entire transmission, no codes whatsoever, and diagnosed the ACTUAL issue which was a tire arm on both sides needing replacement. Mik then agreed to reimburse the $150 diagnostic charge and do a wheel alignment (which I was actually willing to pay for, with him reimbursing the diagnostic test that completely misdiagnosed my issue. But once alignment was complete, he just wanted payment, and refused to issue the refund. When I said that was not what we agreed to prior to you doing the alignment, he said, I don't give a fu*k. Get the fuck out of my shop and I am going to put a lien on your car. Refusing to return my car key. So I suggested paying what he wanted, and coming back tomorrow to discuss the reimbursement. He continued to refuse to accept my payment, and kept yelling with other customers in the shop, get the fuck out of my shop. I'm not returning your key. Leave. I said I am not leaving without my car, just put the charge through and we can discuss the reimbursement tomorrow. He refused and threatened to physically drag me out of the shop if I didn't leave. I called the police as he was unlawfully refusing to return my key as I was standing waiting and willing to pay the bill (without the reimbursement), and he literally made me wait (after the shop closed) for 40 minutes before finally agreeing to accept payment, and follows that up with threats to "have me arrested" if I returned tomorrow for my promised reimbursement. The cops suggested reporting him to the BBB, share my experience online on various review forums... and funny enough, after scrolling other reviews on here, it seems I not the only victim to this arrogant, aggressive and threatening man who thinks a good way to run his business is through lies, intimidation and very poor mechanical service. I strongly encourage anyone thinking about using this shop to go elsewhere. Oh, and I have a voicemail from his employer stating they look forward to issuing me a reimbursement for the work that they misdiagnosed. Hats off to the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life.

In the middle of our conversation the phone rings and he picks it up and starts talking. No "excuse me", or "sorry, I have to get this". Just picked it up and ignored me. Really professional right? Told him I got a flat and asked if it could be fixed today. He said they are busy today but I could leave the car here but there's no guarantee that it would be done today. I needed the car for the night so asked if they could just pop on the spare tire and repair the damaged tire and they said it then might take a couple days?? Not sure why but it would take longer doing that but seemed like they didn't want my business so I called a different place to get it done there. The place was a few km away and I didn't want to drive on the flat. So I started to put on the spare tire myself. I'm thinking this might have been a bad look for them "a guy changing his own tire in front of a tire shop" cause the guy comes out and starts saying I can't do that in their parking lot because of liability problems. Was I supposed to drive back on the road and do it there? I told them I would be 15 minutes and he literally yelled at me, "Just be quick and don't damage the other cars, Jesus!" And went back into the store. I don't know what I could've done differently here. I felt like I was patient with them given how rude they were when they first met with me. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll definitely be taking my future business elsewhere and would never recommend this place to anyone.
