There were few people there and it was just comfortable. (You know how sometimes you wine taste and you're the only ones there and you feel like you're being stared at and it's awkward? This was the exact opposite feeling. Really a lovely experience!) Lynda was THE best at sharing about the grapes and the process and the wines, as she gave us VERY generous pours. She created a warm atmosphere and strangers standing around tasting began talking with each other. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised with the Merlot and did not expect to love it so much. We ended up buying a bottle of the Pinot noir that I am very excited to share. It was light and really easy to drink. I'm not a wine connoisseur, so my language for wines is not professional. But what I can tell you is that you will not be disappointed if you come. Their pallet of wine profiles is extensive and you will find something that you will be so glad you tried. I will definitely be back!

This is the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant anywhere. Speaking as a decade Yelper I don't like this type of review. But it's clear they need to work on customer service. At the time of this review we have been at the table 50 minutes with no table service response whatsoever. Staff walks past us. By contrast at the bar two staff members were helpful and pleasant and they were a sharp contrast to the other staff members we had seen. There was also a nice gentleman in a purple shirt that spoke to me when I had gone to get a menu, he appeared to be hosting but wasn't available when we arrived. I do not recommend this Willamette valley vineyards location *update, Jared did show up to the table 1 1/2 hours after we arrived. Maybe he was busy, but sadly he walked past us more than 7 times ( I stopped counting). He offered to bring me more water, I declined. He asked if we wanted anything but since we are leaving in ten minutes there's no point. Disappointed at least I'm confident that Jared was assigned to our table. Maybe he was having an off day. We had the prosciutto flatbread and the whipped goat cheese with fig jam. Both were delicious! I love that many items on the menu can be made gluten free. It is the same gluten free pizza crust for the flat bread and for dipping in the cheese. But having AN option is great. Our wine tasting was also lovely. I enjoyed the range of the tasting and saw several appealing varietals on the menu that I would definitely come back for. Overall, a great experience. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's a small venue, but they have a good amount to offer. Highly recommend.

Same can be said of shopping and making purchases at the gift shop, ordering food from one of the dozen or so food carts on site, and even finding a table or cozy spot on the lawn to enjoy a meal, or just relax in the warm spring weather. Exploring the fields is a treat and a feast for the eyes, and one doesn't feel rushed or crowded in doing so. Photo opportunities abound here, so you'll frequently encounter young families, annoying influencers, and young couples in love taking advantage of this gorgeous, evanescent landscape, and you should too. To me, tulip season in the west is a lot like hanabi (cherry blossom season) in Japan: a fleeting season when nature, wreathed in radiant raiment, comes into her full floral glory, reminds us that although our time here on Earth is brief, and through our beauty will eventually fade, a new season is perennially on the horizon.
