Wow, this place is wonderful & HUGE! I had no idea from the outside just how big it is inside. Every time I got to an end of an aisle or corner, there was another nook, room or whole aisle, and there's even a full basement with so much more down below! It's a nice mix of both vintage & antique items, along with new items that are vintage-inspired or gift type things. It's a mix of home decor, kitchen, serving/dining pieces, bathroom, clothing, toys, and even some old tools and vintage signs, along with new gift-giving items, cards & some gift wrap, too. The whole place is well-lit and clean. The prices seemed reasonable, for the most part. They were really busy on the Saturday we were there because it was the Camas Vintage & Art Fair day, so we didn't really have any interaction with the staff. read more

This is a great place to shop for beanie babies they get restocked every three weeks by this one girl named Callie there is so much cool things to look at if you're going there to buy a beanie baby or more of them I would recommend going downstairs and looking in the places that there's glass and you can see through it or look when you come in the store go right and then forward then right again and then go down the aisle until you see a basket you will find tennis babies there or if you're lucky enough there will be one or two beanie babies on top of them I'm a collector I have like 100 of them including teeny babies which I have like 12 of there's a very low chance they have rare ones but it's possible read more

It is a pleasant environment to browse and shop as all of the vendors nice looking and well curated spaces. In general many of the prices seem quite fair. There is a decent selection of vintage and modern stuff, but only the occasional antique (more than 100 years old). Really disgusting, racist dolls. I brought this up with the person at the register and they were very understanding and assured me they'd bring this up with the owner but truly it is 2024 and there is absolutely no excuse to be stocking racist, mammy stereotype dolls with dirty aprons and a tag that says "primitive", mind you the tag also says est 2019, so these are not vintage. Really disappointed and completely ruined my shopping experience, left immediately after seeing this and could not bring myself to buy anything as I will not support this business until they discontinue buying from this vendor. read more

Not family friendly. I came in multiple times this week with my newborn and toddler. My toddler is a remarkably polite and doesn't touch things without asking first - which is amazing and why I am able to take her places. Each time we visited we had no issue and we bought many items. Then today when I came back with my husband to buy a table the woman working was extremely rude and really hurt my daughter's feelings. My daughter was walking down the stairs where there was no railing and she accidentally bumped into a shelf and a single bar of precariously placed soap fell. I placed it back and apologized many times. The woman said it was fine and was kind about it. I then told her there was a table I wanted to purchase and asked if she could help me remove the items that were placed on top. As I was about to lead her to the table she asked me to stay with my daughter who was with my husband. I told her she was with my husband and was fine. My daughter had picked up two pink balls of yarn after she asked my husband and he said yes. She said she's "picking up stuff" and I said "it is yarn, is she not allowed to hold it?" and the woman said "no". I was honestly shocked. My daughter was so confused why I made her put the yarn back - as I had no reason. She felt she'd something wrong and it broke my heart. We left the store immediately and my daughter kept saying she was sorry to me and her dad because she felt she'd done something wrong. I asked if she wanted the yarn and went back in, I let her grab it herself, and we bought them. The rude woman did not deserve our business but more importantly my daughter did not deserve to made to feel as if she'd done something wrong. I'd understand if she was running around touching items and being disruptive. She was not. It's just yarn, yes. However, I won't be coming back because how you make your customers (of any age) feel matters!!!!! Update: Upon reading other reviews on yelp and Google, I see there are many written about this place being extremely rude to customers - especially to families with children. Unacceptable. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Used to frequent this antique shop a lot and bring friends and family. I will definitely not coming back. The owners or the woman and man that was working were extremely rude. We said hi and they weren't very welcoming. When we asked to see something in a cabinet the man was annoyed. I came in with my family including my baby (10 months old) my baby was walking around and happy making baby noises. We made sure our baby didn't touch anything. When we were checking out the woman and man were complaining how they "couldn't think with the baby screaming" our baby wasn't screaming at all and when she did get a little loud we took her outside to play. I have frequented this place many times. I have also spent a pretty good amount of money in the past. My daughter, her husband and my young granddaughter, 10 months old, was being a baby. She found her voice, yes high pitch. They took the baby outside. As I was paying for some items, the woman and man working there literally complained about how they couldn't think when the baby was screaming. They had horrible attitudes when we walked in and gave a racist vibe. They were put out and not family-friendly at all. I have never noticed this place to be busy. They have some cool stuff, very little, slightly overpriced for second-hand stuff. We will not return. These so-called antique store ,really overpriced junk type of place. Unfortunately folks, people still have children, babies are unpredictable. Adults have become miserable, angry people who hate life. You should apologize publicly for insulting grandparents, next time shut up and put a sign in your window that says, " we are mean, racists, miserable people who do not like families especially young children!" I really liked this store. They have a ton of cute stuff. Things are pretty expensive though. I found a cute ceramic pumpkin that had 2 stickers on it that said $2. Stuck on really good, perfectly right side up, one sticker on each side of the pumpkin. They were very intentionally placed. When I got to the register, the lady working pulled another tag from inside of the pumpkin that said, $12, and said the $2 sticker must have came off something else. I was just like, both of them? The owner refused to honor the price. It felt like bait and switch, and it left me with a bad feeling. I did not purchase the item. I come in 2-3 times per week, and spend $50 or more dollars each time. Seems like a stupid reason to lose a good customer. The owner just said, "I do understand it's frustrating, but I can't sell it to you for that price." I said ok. She just kept saying "I understand, I understand". As I was leaving I said "do you?" She proceeded to follow me out of the store to tell me again that she couldn't sell it to me for $2. I said ok, that's fine. I don't even want it anymore. It just rubs me the wrong way. I was in Camas Antiques this week (like most weeks) and am always so impressed by that store as well as the others on the same block! Great selections, friendly staffs and amazing shopping environments. It is sad that all businesses have been impacted this decade by the pandemic, break-ins, increased thefts and vandalism. Yes - even our quaint, safe little town of Camas is not immune to the societal problems that plague the larger cities in our region. Kuddos to the small businesses that have stayed open and to the owners + employees who faithfully serve our communities day in and day out. These businesses are not Wal-Mart or the mall and deserve our respect while shopping in their stores. read more

I've frequented this store a couple times and usually get the feeling like I'm being watched. Well this weekend, it was much more obvious. There were two women working, one was friendly and the other was obviously bothered by my family's presence. My son and daughter love this store and were excited to find something from here. But as we walked throughout the store, this woman kept looking at me and sighed when my kids would walk by. She was wearing a mask but I could still see her eye rolling when we were near. We left the store without buying anything out of pure frustration and disappointment. She is an older white woman, with blond/white shoulder length hair. Adorable antique store! My sister's mother-in-law took us here last week when we were visiting for Thanksgiving break. I love how they had a lot of New World Christmas decor for sale. There's a lot of unique items you will find here. I scored on some adorable costume jewelry. The also have some vintage designer bags and a few clothing items. Oh man! I'm all thumbs writing this review. In my time in the PNW I have traversed many antique/curio stores. By far and away, Camas Antiques takes the first place ribbon. The vendors do such an amazing job in hunting and displaying their wares. Many and various finds to get lost in as you look. There is this fugue that takes over as you shop and time seems to stop. One booth takes you from the 1920's and the next to industrial finds from the 40's. My favorite part of the store was the abundance of Christmas treasures. It cannot be understated, come with time to spend. Two floors are packed wall to wall. Do not be in a hurry. read more

Today was a sad day at Camas Antiques. I have been a patron at this store at least once a week before COVID and in fact have purchased many, many things for not only my home but two other clients of mine and usually am there more often during Christmas. Today I was REALLY happy to see them open. Something pretty disturbing happened at the entrance today though that I feel other patrons should take note of. The store entrance had been set up with restrictions in mind. All still looked inviting so, I proceeded to open the door. I couldn't so I backed up and started reading sidewalk signs first. Not even a full minute went by when a woman came to the door and opened it but the look on her face was a bit sarcastic and I immediately realized I "pushed" instead of "pulled" at the door to open. My reaction was a comical "oh.... silly me" type of reaction to which she replied...."yeh, they just don't have the door instructions understandable enough do they"? And started laughing. At that point the two clerks as well as this woman and her friend laughed but continued to be snarky and demeaning. That went on for quite awhile as I proceeded to walk to the back. Now, If I didn't have self-esteem and confidence about me, I would have felt pretty foolish but sillier things have happened and life goes on. What was disturbing was the continuation of laughter and from the two clerks who were there as well. About 10 minutes went by as I was waiting for the two shoppers to leave before approaching the clerks. I believe in the premise of discussing in private when one is upset. I didn't see anyone else in the store so I approached them. I said how concerned I was that such public show of attempting to humiliate a patron was allowed by them. I then told her what they didn't know was that just seconds before coming to the store I had been on a phone call from a loved one who was just taken to the hospital. I was not paying attention to signs on the door and what was more disturbing than the patrons attempt to shame me was the clerks going along with it even remarking how she "fit right in". If I had my things there to sell and this kind of behavior kept people from buying like it did me today and I have spent quite a lot of money at that store. I would be a bit concerned. read more

I've been going here during the summer for years with my friends. it's like tradition. but every time we go we notice how incredibly rude the staff is. they follow us around and even once opened the bathroom door while we were in there. they accused us of stealing because of the nickel bag i had bought the day before whilst with my mother. this would not be the first time the staff has been rude. read more

Firstly, not so much an antique store, but more of a cutesy boutique place with mass produced items catering to the current season (eg: pumpkins and harvest themed items for Halloween/autumn, ornaments for Christmas, etc). Which may make it a misnomer, but whatever - semantics, right? My issue is the sketchy business practices. I stopped in while driving through the area, perused and selected about 10 items and proceeded to the register. There were two people behind the counter; one of them sifted through my items and read off prices to the person manning the register, while they carried on a conversation between themselves, barely saying a word to me. But again, whatever - be rude, it reflects solely on your character, I don't take it personally. The woman was still packaging my things while I was completing payment with the man at the card reader and receiving my receipt. I turned back to the woman to accept my bag of purchases and then left the store, again with them barely uttering a word to me. I then went on way and drove about an hour down the road. When I stopped to fill up at a gas station, I decided to pull out the lip balm I had purchased (because, as I said - more boutique-y than antique-y) and rummaged through the bag. While doing so, I noticed that a pair of earrings I bought was not in the bag; I pulled out the receipt to check I had actually paid for them and confirmed they were listed (at $18.95). So I decided to call the store and see if they had fallen on the floor or something. It took three calls over a period of time before I could get anyone to answer. When someone did finally answer, he confirmed that he found the earrings sitting on the counter by the register. Apparently the woman packaging my items was too absorbed in their conversation to make sure she gave the customer what they had paid for. The man who answered the phone said they would hold them at the counter for me, but I stated I was too far away and wanted a refund instead; he then acted extremely put out and said, "well I have a line of customers, so I'll have to call you back". Like, excuse me? I was also a customer and you guys effed up, so why do I have to wait for a call back for you to fix this? Still, I gave him my number and went on my way. I missed a call from the store number while I was in a meeting and couldn't answer; no voice mail though. I tried calling back multiple times over the next couple days and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Nor did I ever receive another call from them in attempt to refund me. I finally gave up. I considered contacting my credit card company for a partial chargeback, but the time I'd have to be on hold seemed like a waste for the amount of money they ripped me off for. The only reason I took the time to write this up was so others would hopefully keep a better eye on their sales transactions than I did. Be wary. read more

I just shopped this store today and I'm looking back on the comments made about how awful the staff are to customers. I completely agree. Very disappointing. No greeting. No thanks for the business. They could care or less about you being in the store. This is my 3rd time shopping there since we moved to Camas and today is my last. Woman checking me out even snapped at me when my 4-year old walked up the steps into the window area. How unnecessary. He was well-mannered the whole time we shopped and was simply exploring. Shame on her. I normally love supporting small business, but will find another one other than this one to shop at now. Consistently rude staff is how I would label this store. read more
