I recently purchased a truck from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The truck was supposedly subjected to a "full 180-point inspection," covering critical components like the engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed significant transmission issues, including harsh shifting, which should have been caught during this inspection. I was later advised that the issue stems from engine oil leaks caused by the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that's well-known with this model. These issues should have been identified before selling me the truck. To make matters worse, I was never informed about the low tire tread (4/32), and now I've been advised I need new tires soon. The dealership should have flagged this during their supposed "full inspection." Additionally, my husband was double-charged $6,000 for an extended warranty on his truck, and it took us weeks to get a hold of anyone at the dealership to resolve the issue. It was an incredibly stressful process that shouldn't have happened. But the most concerning part? His truck also had a loose steering wheel, a safety hazard that almost caused a serious accident on the highway. This issue was never flagged during the supposed inspection either. After hearing about the truck's "thorough inspection," it's hard to believe no one noticed these major safety issues. To add to my frustration, I took my truck to another dealership for maintenance and was informed that I need to consent to a transmission overhaul just to have techs take pictures of the transmission when it's taken apart and send them to the warranty provider for approval of the repair cost. If the repair cost is not approved, I'll still be left with a $1,900 bill just to put the transmission back together. If the overhaul is not approved, I'll face a $10,000 cost for the transmission repair, despite the issue stemming from the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that should have been caught in the inspection. I feel deceived, especially considering the dealership assured us that the trucks had undergone thorough inspections. These problems, especially the safety hazard in my husband's truck and the transmission issue in mine, should have been identified and addressed before selling us these vehicles. We trusted this dealership to be upfront and transparent, but instead, we've been left dealing with costly repairs and severe safety concerns. For a dealership that claims to provide quality inspections, the oversight of such major issues is inexcusable.

Be weary of this dealer the workmanship of their mechanic is pretty shoddy. They are leaving wiring…read moreplugs between the cab and frame so they get pinched instead of putting the connector back in its bracket. The lock clips were removed and never reinstalled. They are also leaving wiring laying against the exhaust pipe so it melts. The mechanic broke parts and never replaced them, I asked gor the cover that was supposed to be installed covering the exposed wires that plug into the module, after some time they gave me one that was broken. I talked to the service manager about the way the wires ect was done and he told me pretty much to F Off it seams like they are making sure you are a repeat customer. As a result I called Airdrie Dodge to get a new part as I wanted to support my local businesses In Airdrie and the guy in the parts department told me that there was no part like I described and to take my business elsewhere. After calling around to different dealers I was able to locate the part at Varsity Chrysler and had the guys at the lube centre to go pick it up. Every time I goto this dealership I am told they don't have the parts and to go elsewhere. I will never buy anything from them again. So much for supporting local business.

Well Scenic View Motors got me in right away for to take a look. After hours drop off was simple and secure. As promised they called me to explain & quote the repair. I was extremely impressed by the service and honesty all the way through the process. The repair was under $200 for the custom exhaust repair that too care of the noises. They also recommended a tune up & had it completed as promised. The entire repair was under $400. I highly recommendation this amazing family run local business!!

I took a car in because of starting problems. I assumed it was the remote starter causing the issues but was told the neutral safety switch went. And, the price is $448 plus an hour to install. Gasp! How much??!! I can buy the part online for about $150. The car has now been in the shop for 6 days but since they DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS, it has only been looked at a few times. I found out that they have not dedicated a tech to it, but have rather used the tech sparingly between other jobs. Not cool guys. Not cool at all. That's a poor business model. I won't be going back there once (or maybe i should use the word IF) they ever get my car done.

Claimed that her steering rack was "the worst I have ever seen" and "I would not let my family or anyone I know ride in this car". When she declined work and wanted remove her car from their shop, she was forced to sign a waiver as the car was "unsafe to be driven" A subsequent inspection of the car at an AMVIC approved inspection station found no evidence of any such problem and declare vehicle roadworthy. I have all documentation and a complaint will be filed with AMVIC, and BBB. BEWARE!

When OBVIOUSLY I'M BEING AFFECTED by the problem that they are supposed to fix because my windshield wipers are broken in the exact way that is listed. Also when I came in to get another recall done a couple of months ago they found a problem and quoted me $2500 - $4000 to fix it. When I took it to a different mechanic to get the problem fixed it ended up costing me $600. I will never give them another penny.

I had the worst experience buying a car from this dealership…read more First of all, they tried to sell me the GMC extended warranty for $4500, I declined this warranty because I knew I could get a cheaper third party extended warranty elsewhere. However, the finance guy wouldn't let me leave and later said he could offer me that same warranty (which he should have offered in the first place as a cheaper option). Then the day after I drove it off the lot there was an issue with the power steering pump and struts (This car was supposed to be used certified). As I live in Mahogany S.E Calgary (45m-1h to an hour away) I decided to take it to my friend at South Trail Chrysler (5 min away) to have it fixed and use my warranty as I wasn't going to be able to get out to Airdrie for at least a month. I told my sales rep at Davis this and he freaked out and said I need to have it serviced at their shop and that they would come pick up the car from me and drop it back off once fixed (so they didn't get in trouble as I could have invoiced Davis for the work as it should have been inspected properly at Davis). So to do them a solid I payed South Trail Chrysler the $90 to take my car off their lift. Then I book a service appointment with Davis who now repeatedly say I have to drop the car off myself. I then phone my Davis sales rep who says oops, sorry "it's just a policy for the service guys" and refuses to send someone to pick up the car and drop it off, even though he said they would. Then the sales rep starts to accuse me repeatedly of not being smart because I took it to a non-GMC dealership. He didn't read my file and apparently had no idea I got the third party warranty not the GMC one. It took calling the GM of the dealership to make this happen and it was about a 3 week ordeal. Not fun. Never dealing with these guys again. My opinion is that, especially the sales folks, will say anything to get you to do what they want then go back on their word without even apologizing. I still haven't received the $90 dollars Davis said they would pay me to take my car off of South Trail Chryslers lift.
