After 5 days of being under the empression by the salesperson that I would be approved for a 2020 vehicle, This dealership spent an afternoon trying to whittle me down to a 5 year old vehicle with dents, scrapes, and rusty looking tire rims, with no heater block, no back camera, no spare tire and filthy interior AND the carfax showed it has been in an accident! Those guys had the contract for this crappy vehicle right at the edge of the desk with one signature on it already for me to sign (high pressure)!! I ended up leaving in tears, was so humiliated, embarrassed that this all transpired in front of whole staff. I gave them my credit story and what I wanted for a monthly payment at the beginning, made it clear!! It took them over 5 days to admit they could not assist me, a complete waste of time. I bought a used kia from this dealership. My experience with Eric was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I think he did a great job. My issues had nothing to do with Eric himself, so I want to make it clear that I am satisfied with the job he did. I had serious issues with the dealership itself and my interactions with Mike. I found Mike to be arrogant and had no interest in customer service and satisfaction. Mike was very difficult to work with and had no concern over my experience as customer. He made threats that if I took my concerns to Kia Canada, that he would no longer help me and promises he made in person were not followed through with. Mike was difficult to reach. At one point we were told he was "too busy" to speak to us. When I pointed out that the dealership was empty, I was told that he had paperwork to do and we would need to wait 3 hours to speak to him. Since when was paperwork more important than the customer? Overall, I was highly disappointed with the experience, especially after seeing the large banner advertising the award that this dealership received from DealerRater. I was informed that the award criteria was for customer service and satisfaction. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone and will advise others against using this dealership if I hear they are in need of a new vehicle. read more

The worst car buying experience I have ever dealt with in my life. The sales staff had absolutely no time for me or my concerns, managers and other sales people made my wife and I feel extremely uncomfortable. Take your business else where! Such a terrible service received today, but that doesn't surprise me. My first experience with this car dealer was bad, at the time they were called Kia CIty. Back in 2017 I leased a Kia Sportage, on the day I was signed the contract I was told the price would be higher than agreed. Afterwards I reached the management, they asked for clarification so I forwarded all conversations I had by email with the salesperson, but I was never responded. Anyway, Today , March 1st 2021, I am writing this review because this place is still terrible. For some reason I am not sure why, I received such a poor service, in fact It was ridiculously bad. Long story short, I had an appointment with Jas Singh at 6 PM, I arrived in time for our appointment but it took him about 20 minutes to talk to me because he was helping someone else. That`s ok, I understand, that happens sometimes. What made me frustated was the service I received. When I finally talked to him, he was extremely rude responding about the cost for buying out the vehicle on lease. Since my lease finishes in April, and because we are considering keeping the vehicle, my wife had a question about the cost of this SUV. Even if the question is considered silly we`d expect a good treatment because we are not acquainted with terms in this business. We thought that we could renegotiate the price for buying out since we drove over 20000 k less that what we paid for. His attitude was so negative, he was so rude to respond that made us feel humiliated. Even for stupid questions, a respectful salesperson should be polite and courteous. He compared the cost for buying out with Mortgage, he said "How come you would renegotiate your mortgage? That`s exactly how it is, how come you can do it?" and his attitude was so bad for someone who could offer us another car instead. Probably I would consider buying a brand new car, but his tone made us so angry that we preferred to leave immediately.. read more

Once again Straightline KIA went above and beyond. I purchased a Kia Optima from Strainghtline KIA in the spring and when trying to get winter tires on, through another place of purchase, I ran into some difficulty with getting the wheels off. I went to KIA and in the moment they resolved the tire concern. Not only did they resolve the KIA tire concern, they offered free service to put winter tires on and excellent and friendly shuttle service to and from work. When I arrived to pick up my car they even washed it so I was even more impressed at the end of the day.
