We showed up without a reservation but we were still warmly greeted and waited just 10 minutes for a table. The inside is beautifully decorated. We ordered a variety of dishes to try. My favorites were Chicken Tikka-delicious and tender chicken served with a tasty green sauce Beef Pepper Fry-intensely flavored and tender beef served with flaky roti. This was my favorite dish. Very different and unique tasting. Fish Curry-tender fish in a spicy slightly sweet curry Chicken Chettinad-this spicy chicken curry was thick and savory We ordered plain rice and the bread basket to have with our meal. We enjoyed everything and highly recommend Colonel Saab!

It is the type of place that you have to tell them your address 5 times and describe in minute detail how to get there and then the delivery driver still calls you up saying he cant find you. They also say 45mins delivery time but the quickest they have ever been is 1hr 5mins, I'm only a mile from them but you'd think I was on the other side of London for all the hassle. The food is certainly not authentic but then again its not too bad either. Good size portions at a very reasonable price are the only reason I occasionally still find myself prepared to put up with their abysmal service. In short if you cant be bothered to cook and you cant scrape enough cash together for your usual place then give them a ring, just dont expect to get a quick efficient service.

I opted for the Japanese bowl with chicken (about £10) and the flavors were absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy and I loved the vegetables in the bowl. They prepared it fairly quickly but if you're in a hurry I would order ahead as they were rather busy when I was in there at lunch time. The portion was a little smaller than I would have liked, I was hungry a couple of hours after lunch. With that said at least I didn't pay a ton of money for it. Would definitely visit again and try another bowl.

The staff in the store seemed pretty friendly, they didn't mind me coming in a couple of minute's before they closed (They do close pretty early which is annoying!), they just reminded me of the time. The selection is good in-store, while it can't compare to Food Halls' in larger stores, they sold essentials plus a little bit more, meaning I could get most of what I needed to take back to my hotel, mainly a Sprite and some milk. The store is also clean and fairly modern, and I do think this is one of the better convenience stores in close proximity, with many rivals nearby, even if the pricing is slightly higher (As expected - Marks and Spencer is a slightly more premium brand). 4*

I had the steak frites two different nights this stay and ordering it medium rare vs medium was perfection. The cafe de Paris sauce is divine and those fries are cooked so well. Around 9pm I was hungry and about to grab a pizza, but they were already wrapped up for the day. Oof, on a weekend too. The brewery was neat too; lots of great beers on tap and self-serve water for those that want a quick refresher. There was a DJ playing when I was here too, but not sure if that's always the case on the weekends. The pizza vendor looked great; and plenty of tables indoor and outdoors to hang out. Definitely recommend it as a meeting spot with lots of options!
