The vet did not put any iodine or disinfectant on the wound post surgery, then after 3 days when we went to have the bandage changed (I now have it from several other vets and lots of internet research that the bandage should have been changed and the wound cleaned daily) she still did not clean it IN SPITE OF THE FACT IT SMELLED, which she blamed on me saying I had got it wet! She also did not give her any antibiotics, I had to insist on them as I was worried, even though Fiona Rawlings said it was "looking alright". I will add that she also told me not to do the very thing that might have saved my dogs life; change the bandage! She then left it another 4 days, in spite of me phoning and saying the wound was stinking and by then the wound had, of course gone rotten and she heartlessly told me that my dog would now have to be put to sleep. She even told me that cleaning it wouldn't make a difference....either she thinks I am stupid or she is completely inept- what kind of idiot believes that cleaning a wound will not make any difference to it's healing?! Now, it did take me a while to be able to afford to take her to the vet, I had to raise a gofundme but my dog was happy and otherwise healthy, eating, sleeping and playing before I took her into that vet and now she is dead, I had a different vet come to my home to do it and he said the bandage should have been changed and the wound cleaned daily, which confirmed what I had already found out online and have since found out from other vets. If I had taken her to the vet in St Austell who came to put her to sleep she would be alive and on her way to healing now. FIONA ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY AND IF SHE THINKS YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT (EVEN THOUGH I WOULD HAVE PAID EXTRA FOR DAILY BANDAGING AND CLEANING- SHE NEVER GAVE ME THE OPTION) SHE WON'T EVEN BOTHER TO USE ANTI SEPTIC AFTER SURGERY. THIS WOMAN KILLED MY DOG, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE FOR SURGERY AS THEY DO NOT EVEN CLEAN WOUNDS. I am devastated, my dog was no where near ready to go. There are no words because I carry the guilt of taking my baby here in the first place.

Friends dog was paralyzed during an operation and they wont accept liability - he couldn't walk after the op and is now paralyzed (had a Luxating patella). Can't even see the same vet who broke his spine... There's no human element. Our new vets are amazing and talk to the animals, make them feel comfortable and call us every chance they can. They even offered us a cup of coffee! (Southmore for reference). Greenbay is nothing like this. They don't like small animals (so i've heard through the great vine). Horrible to cats and small dogs. I also know someone who works here and how on earth they still get business. They're a disgusting, money grabbing vets.

They are always interested and supportive and when the sad day comes they really do care. They are the best vets I have ever come across. They are situated in a quiet road, away from the town centre and on street parking is available immediately in front of their building. I have never had a problem parking there. Some operations are done at their Torquay premises where they have more facilities. They look after the owners as well as the animals.

The vets themselves you can see genuinly care about the animals welfare but also realise that treatments can be costly. They go out of their way to ensure that they can give your pet the treatment they need at a lower price and without breaking the bank. I found this particularly true when my cat was ill for about 3 weeks, i had to make several trips with her to the vets and they did their best to make her feel as comfortable as possible. They didnt even bat an eyelid when she tried to bite him!!!

To be blunt, I don't know how they sleep at night. Additionally their Knightsbridge practice is really filthy and dated, there are always bits of dog sick or faeces to navigate past in the waiting room. We are convinced taking our pet for a minor complaint actually made him seriously ill in the first place. Took our dog back to our old vet in another location (they don't have fancy shill reviews online or swanky websites, but they have always done well by our pets). We have talked to several other pet owners who share the same opinions and experiences as us using this group. Will not set foot in any of their practices again.
