I trust Walter and his team for any repairs I need and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable handyman!

I hired Montesino Services to do a number of odd jobs while trying to get a rental house put on the…read moremarket for selling. This included: replacing all burnt out light bulbs, painting all walls, removing temporary backsplash, replacing damaged floor boards + glue and fixing the toilet paper rods to the wall Positives: - Quick to respond + complete work - Come back out to address any issues that were seen after the work was completed - Great price - Trustworthy contractors - They did a large range of work, which prevented the need to reach out to multiple contractors. This was the best part about them. For any work that seems at first glance unsatisfactory (paint needing second coat, glue remaining on tile), I let the contact know and he got someone out to remedy the situation within 2-3 day. It's worth noting that I did not mention the paint splatters because I didn't want to mess with it, and I was fine removing them personally. Negatives: - After painting, the floors were covered in small paint splatter, which required manual effort using a razor blade to go through the house and remove. That said, the price for paint was substantially (thousands of dollars) cheaper than competing offers. If you are looking for a quick and affordable house painting, this is great. But if you are looking for a detailed and totally mess free job, I would recommend paying more in order to get that service. I would hire them again to do small tasks around the house anytime, or paint a small section of a home, or a home where the floors would be replaced.

I HATE to change my reviews to a lower star but this was a disappointment given my previous…read moreexperience with Hugo. I texted him in September as I had several things lined up that needed installed and repaired. It was a few days before he responded but he did and explained that he had been working on a big project. He came out on 9/20 to do the work. One of the projects was to remove a light fixture and install two mini pendant lights. These are two separate fixtures with chain links from the ceiling to the actual light encasing. This was the last project of the day and he did a great job of changing out my old light to this updated look. With one exception. He called me in to look at them and I noticed one was hanging shorter than the other. When I mentioned it he said "No, it's correct." I didn't want to be rude and go get a tape measure to ensure that it was correct (I will in the future). After he left I measured and it was 1/4" shorter. To some this might not seem like much but it is noticeable. When he was leaving he commented that my house could use quite a bit of work (he was tactful) and I agreed. I could tell he was soft selling me for future larger projects. That was fine as I would like to hire a small business to do the work when I'm ready. We discussed a few more projects for his next visit and he left. Fast forward to 10/19. I sent a text that the needed to fix the light and why. He responded and asked if the light fell. I reiterated that the light on the right was shorter. It's now 11/14. I have yet to hear back from him. I'm in sales, if I did something incorrectly I own it and do the best I can to fix the problem. Especially if I want future work and bigger projects. When you fail to even respond it is highly unprofessional. I will have to pay a different handyman to fix the issue now.
