I got my doors done in January by Lee and his crew, he did an amazing job!! (They did not do paint…read morejob/so pics are prior to paint job) Since we had just moved in, we were on a budget, he helped turn our dining room into a functional office. This room is right off the front entryway so it was super important to get it right, as well as not take away from the entry and it still has a feeling of being a part of the home originally. They install the doors in one day as well as all the glass inserts. The doors I chose were not brand new they were unused from a prior job (Lee has a HUGE inventory of new, refurbished, and used windows and doors- he is also able to cut doors to size on site). Lee and his team were timely, respectful and listen to all of my wants and needs to make this new office an optimal use of space and functionality. The Doors I chose were 24 inches wide, with a transom on either side as well as above. The original opening was 84 inches wide and 104 inches high. The doors both swing open(inward)and the left door can lock in place, the right door is fully functional and can be locked from the inside. Very pleased with the finished product and I will be going back for any other home remodels

When I first looked at Yelp for my…read morewood flooring project, I contacted 3 local vendors. 5tar was the very first to call me back, but not the one I really wanted. I told Mitch (5tar flooring) that after comparing with the other two vendors, he had basically no chance to do the work. The reason? He did not have any reviews. Reviews are very important to me. He apologized and told me he understood and will be available if I ever needed him in the future. After two days, only one of the other two vendors called me back, but the other guy was busy and unable to start right away. So I took a big risk and called Mitch back. Only reason I did was because he made a good impression, a true gentleman, never trying to close a sale. I am so glad I did. I am an engineer and I am proud to say I have worked with factories all over the world. I have audited plenty of places, basically I am an expert in quality with more than 40 years of field experience. I am good at spotting a work well done. The people that Mitch sent me were top notch (Carlos and a helper). I have several cameras installed in my home. So I was able to follow step by step what they were doing. Not only they worked professionally, they are some of the hardest working people I have seen in a long time. The first day they started at 10AM and left my home at 7:30PM, only resting for a 30 min lunch. Then they knocked at my door at 8:00AM as agreed on a Sunday the following day to finish the job. (Believe it or not, they also worked on a Sunday. Frankly speaking I never expected them to arrive early that day, but they did). Very impressed with their work! In summar, you can not go wrong with this team of people!
