The carpet has a large ripple in one of the main rooms when you walk into it. its 3-4 inches high which is a tripping hazard my nephew and daughter in law (while carrying my grandson) tripped. We had to go into their garage and use the lift for coffins. Talk about scary. They did not have enough seating for friends and family. We had to supply water, sandwiches and other items for our visitors. The next day at the church the funeral home did not even provide tissues on the pews for family and friends. They had issues with the obituary posting on their website, spelling of Uncles name and many other things.

He gave me a real estate analogy, which didn't make any sense as real estate prices are dependent on supply and demand. The funeral industry is not. Point is, he was condescending. $2,000 is the average rate in Niles? National average is half that. Here, it's a third. Turns out she was already cremated when we talked, he neglected to tell me that. I had questions regarding timeline and paperwork. Over the phone, he did not seem happy to answer questions. He kept interrupting. He accused me of being "nasty," and then asked, "when was the last time you came to see your relative." Wow. He has no idea any of the circumstances. Then he stated, "The nursing home told me she had no visitors for a year and a half." The fact is she was in the nursing home 6 weeks. He said, "Well, who put her there?" She did, that's who. Again, wow. The insinuation was "nasty," to use his words. He's in sales with grieving people for customers. They were quick about mailing the remains. He also had all the information about her bank account and why she didn't qualify for Medicaid. Wow. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of experience with funerals and cremations lately, but never one this horrible, or this expensive. If you have a choice I'd recommend you chose somewhere else.

I went to a visitation 03/14/2018 and asked why they didn't move the register (the book you sign)…read morefurther away from the front door as there was 20-30 people waiting outside to get in (my wait time to get in the front door was 15 minutes). I was told it has always been in that location and nothing could be done. The temperature was upper 30's and people came dressed and no coats, I also found many places the register could have been moved to allow all the people to get inside. I asked to talk to the director (I think was the owner) and when I suggested moving the register I was told "If I didn't like it go some other place!" Then he walked toward me and said "Get out of my way!" and when I asked if he was serious he said "Yes (continued to walk toward me) get out of my way, get out of the funeral home!" There was no respect for me or the other people that had to wait outside, he didn't care. I would never recommend this business for anything!

In the past 8 years, we have always received a letter in the mail, or it was printed in the news paper and then there were signage put up on McKinley Highway as well as Jefferson stating cemetery cleanup and when it is... This year there was no letter and no signage and to our amazement the cemetery has been cleaned... The dumpster is full of everybody's flowers and decorations... No notice given... going into the cemetery, in very small print, it gives the clean up days....but for someone with poor eyesight, they'd never see it... We lost a $100 solar light from Eternal Lighting Company, a couple other statues and figurines, and then five other solar lights that we had on some other family members graves as well... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CEMETERY!!! They are crooks!!

They made everything so easy during this rough time. The facilities were nice and they added included many services to make the entire process stress free. We were really surprised to find out they were going to deliver the remaining plants and photos from the visitation.
