The indoor pool was heated and the decking provided a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding acreage. Drew recently renovated a cabin right on the lake and we were not able to stay since the renovations were not complete. But we did tour the cabin and it is stunning. The deck is 15 feet off the lake and you will not be disappointed .

We took the extra, separate small alcove bedroom for one of the kids and had an air mattress brought in for the second one. The BB is set on a southwest bay of Flathead Lake. It is a gorgeous house with an indoor swimming pool, two large decks, and down the hill is a dock. They have kayaks and a paddleboat that is available to guests. We swam and boated and hung out on the dock amid the surrounding mountains. Heavenly. The breakfasts were all large, delicious, and varied. We enjoyed chatting with all the other guests around the shared table. I would definitely return to Flathead Lake and to Swan Hill BB.

Family and bridesmaids of the bride stayed with us and it just made the whole experience like a huge fun slumber party leading up to the wedding. The location was right off the main areas giving us just the touch of isolation and natural wonder. The view from the windows suggested paradise - corny but so true -snow capped mountains and snowing (tho the wedding day was 65 degrees and sunny!) The rooms each were perfect and lovely in their own way. The general living areas felt like home. It's a long twisty gravel road drive up but that is the cost for the beauty and part of the fun. We used a second floor recreational area (great views, wide open, pool table) to prep as a group the day of the wedding making a perfect, fun, and happy all around experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. A bit of paradise which help make an incredible wedding experience more lovely, intimate and memorable!

It was very clean. Our room had two sinks (one in the bathroom and one out) which was great for us and so much quicker getting ready in the AM. Our bed was very comfy. The feather pillows were just about flat and need to be replaced. We slept with our balcony door open (there was a screen) and another small window open. It was wonderful. The shower is in the jacuzzi bath so you have a pretty high side to step over. The shower was hot and had good pressure. My BF said he ran out of hot water. ‍. We scheduled breakfast for 9a and came down about 8:50 and sat and watched the hummingbirds at the 3 feeders, (they also have a koi pond), while Issac finished preparing our breakfast. It was delicious and had home chutney for our English muffins. I would stay here again and recommend you do too.

And then you have the kitchen area and outside patio. We had great views of the train and mountains facing the back/parking lot and we had views of the river as well. The house is maybe a 10 min walk from popular eateries. It's right next to the doubletree that has a riverfront restaurant FINN, which I recommend going for haply hour. It's also near the library which is brand new and has amazing facilities. We even reserved a meeting room on the too floor! There aren't any cons, except for lots of stairs and creaky floors. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. There was a shania twain concert when we were there, held at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium. We could hear it pretty well from our room! The room was thoughtfully prepared. We were provided toiletries, extra blankets, cooking utensils, etc.

She even surprised us with beautiful plates of fruit, lemon bunt cake, and cheese when we came back from a walk in the mountains. The lodge is in a truly magical setting in the Mission Mountains and is very clean and comfortable. We were able to to take a relaxing soak in the hot tub and enjoy the crisp, clean mountain air. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning with local sausage, eggs, blueberry pancakes with homemade huckleberry syrup and fruit. The best part was the conversation we had with Ann and a fellow visitor from Germany about the region. It was everything I had hoped for and more in a visit to a bed and breakfast. The next day, we were able to explore Ninepipes and the National Bison Range which are both a short drive from the Lodge. We plan to make Bear Spirit Lodge a regular destination point.

The view of Flathead lake from our room was incredible. The Inn, grounds and setting up on a hill overlooking the lake were gorgeous. The room was spotless. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. The hosts Michelle, Todd, Nancy and Tom were so hospitable and friendly. If this was not enough to convince you, the next morning we had a gourmet breakfast cooked and served to us on the outside deck overlooking the lake included in the price of the room.
