I have been to several neurologists and a neuro-opthamologist along with a neurosurgeon who did not understand how the upper cervical spine could be causing my symptoms and that I did not have intracranial hypertension, but none of them did an upright MRI with flex/ext or imaging that looked in this area. I was made to feel like it was all in my head and that I just needed an antidepressant. I am tired of being dismissed by doctors who don't understand this complex area of the body and how it relates to your brain/body function. I don't feel the neurology group is serving their patients since they cannot find or explain their symptoms they are put into a catch all diagnosis of function neurological disorder.
