I'm not a car guy but I did use a code reader and did some research on the P0126 code causing the check engine light trigger. The shop's diagnosis of a faulty thermostat matched what I found. I appreciated that Justin took me through the troubleshooting process he used to verify that it wasn't a bad sensor instead and also showed me the old and new part where I could see the obvious wear of the thermostat spring that was causing the thermostat to stay stuck in the open position, causing the P0126 code. My vehicle was done in less than 2 hours which was great considering how many other drop-ins they had that afternoon. I would highly recommend this shop and will be bringing my vehicle back if I ever have any other vehicle issues in the future!

A few examples of their exemplary services - Our daughters car broke down leaking fluid all over the Carlisle Pike and Calvin came in clutch with the rollback and towed her car immediately to their shop. What we were expecting to hear was that the transmission was done, but after careful review it was actually a connecting piece that rusted out. Within 2 business days her car was fixed and back on the road. Our other daughters car kept throwing the service engine soon light. Calvin completed his research and quickly determined the root cause. The fix was completed the next business day and the car runs beautifully. With my nonexistent mechanical…read morebackground (thank you, Google and YouTube), I diagnosed the issue as bad wheel sensors, which would have cost me around $500 to replace. Before I could even start, the clutch went out. Using my "expert investigative skills," I assumed it was the master or slave cylinder. After a sleepless night trying to figure it out, I decided it was time to leave the repairs to an expert. My son's wrestling coach recommended Wiltech, which is only about 15 minutes from my house. I called a few other shops first, but they all said they couldn't even look at the Jeep for 4-5 days. Wiltech, however, told me to tow it in the same day. I wasn't expecting them to get to it immediately, but later that Monday they called to let me know that both of my diagnoses were wrong (heartbreaking, LOL). They also told me they could have it done by midweek, or at the latest by the end of the week. By Friday, everything was completed and ready to go. The customer service was excellent, the price was more than fair, they kept me informed, and they finished the repairs exactly when they said they would. Moving forward, I'll be taking all of my vehicles to Wiltech Automotive. Thank you for the outstanding service!

I checked with the person at the counter that all those services were on the reservation and would get done. This was confirmed. I called at 2:30pm and it was just then getting an oil change. And this person on the phone says the inspection and emissions are not on the order. And even if it was they "didnt have an inspector there today". Went to pickup and the person at the desk was the same that confirmed with me in the morning the services. I asked why I could not get the inspection and emissions. He gave some reason with almost no detail that their "system was messed up across the company" and then said "thats the government for you". So blamed a technical error on their end but then the government. Then to top it off the oil change cost more for the suv than it costs for my Ram with a Hemi. The communication was bad to nonexistent. Why was I not contacted when an error "with the system" was apparent? Why was I not contacted when our vehicle was done with the oil change/tire rotation? Why did it take 6 1/2 hours to get around to an 8am appointment? They had our vehicle for their entire business day and did not communicate or apologize for the inconvenience. They deflected blame and charged a high oil change price.

I had requested a state inspection here for the first time…read more Unfortunately, the techs doing the inspections failed my car for a brake pad but passed emissions, however, they didn't add the sticker to the car. Instead, they went home for the day, without calling me & left my car in the garage. I called at 6:20pm to figure out the status of my car & was told they didn't finish it up & asked if they could call me in the morning. I said ok, then realized they were trying to keep my car overnight, and walked over to retrieve it. The man at the front desk was kind & actually informed me of the things wrong on my car, added some oil to it & checked me out. Unfortunately, I had to bring the car back to get the emission sticker which I was told would only be a few minutes. Well, i once again was waiting for an hour before they let me leave. The tech parked my car right in front of the door & i sat there waiting for them to call me over for what must've been 5-10 minutes. After they called me over they informed me that I need a brake pad, explained the state requirement & then said id need brakes & rotors in the future. They also said I have an exhaust leak, which is just a flange on the rear pipe. I informed them we already ordered brakes & rotors and that we were repairing the leak ourselves & they still sent me a work up of how much it would be for them to do this, $2000. Insane pricing! Thankfully, we can do it ourselves. Then because of the bad experience I had, they offered me a free oil change but I informed them we do those ourselves too. Nothing else was offered. If the retest wasn't free, id avoid going back here.
