It's fun without feeling gimmicky, and the food holds up just as well. The smash burger is excellent, the wings are crispy and perfectly seasoned, and there's nothing wrong with washing it all down with an ice-cold beer. If you're there for weekend brunch, things get even more interesting. Grab a mimosa or sangria and, if you're feeling ambitious, take on the 17-inch monster breakfast burrito "Bases Loaded Burrito". Finish it in 20 minutes and your picture lands in their virtual Hall of Fame. I was smart enough not to try. For sports, this place is hard to beat. TVs are everywhere, and there's a huge outdoor watch-party setup. Big shoutout to Nacho behind the bar, Paul, the mastermind in the kitchen, and Roger for keeping the games covered. If it's game time and you're in Wynwood, Grails is the place.

I've tried the nachos before, and this time I ordered the Beef on Weck burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was exactly what I was craving, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The sweet potato fries were the perfect side. I've also been here several times to watch Florida Panthers games and World Cup matches, and it's always a fun atmosphere. The ambiance is lively without feeling overwhelming, making it the perfect place to catch a game while enjoying good food and drinks with friends or coworkers. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure you have everything you need. Overall, it's a great neighborhood spot with great service, a welcoming vibe, and food that keeps me coming back.

The menu is simple, basic American menu items (burgers, wings, nachos etc.). Nothing special about the food, along with the beverages. No special Marlins cocktails or a fully stoked bar. The service at Recess needs improvement. We arrived after the game started, and chose to sit at the high tops. We were told there is a minimum $75/person fee. Our server then told me for the three of us (2 adults and a child) that we'd have to meet $50. No problem, let's be honest we normally spend more than $150 at a Marlins game on any given day. We were seated right next to the bullpen and my son enjoyed that! We were not aware of the 10% stadium service fee or the 20% auto gratuity charge (see our receipt). We weren't given silverware, plates, or napkins when our anchors arrived. The employee that dropped off the food didn't speak English either. We had to lookout for our server for assistance. The Lounge didn't get crowded til the end of the game so not sure why VIP service wasn't provided with a lot of servers around. I would return to Recess (without a child) for the vibrant game experience and ground level outer field experience. Marlins won the game and the post party that they allowed us to go on the field after was really fun!

Biscayne Bay Brewing nails the balance between laid-back charm and elevated flavors. I started with a margarita that was surprisingly delightful--bright, balanced, and not overly sweet. It set the tone perfectly. I also sampled one of their signature beers, and it was everything you'd want from a local brew: crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. For bites, we shared the fish dip and hummus--both winners. The fish dip had that smoky, briny depth that pairs beautifully with a cold drink, and the hummus was smooth, fresh, and generously portioned. The location itself is a vibe: welcoming, stylish, and perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a long day. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Biscayne Bay Brewing is worth the stop.
