After some searching I found Kathy's address and phone number, and told Pierrette to use her artistic judgement as to the flowers and design. Tonight our couples book group met via Zoom. Kathy had the floral arrangement behind her so we could see it and it was indeed gorgeous. She was pleased w/ it and so were we. From the start, she was really easy to communicate with, took in all the photo examples I sent her, and she completely incorporated what I was picturing for our wedding day. I didn't see a lot of examples of Anna's work in the style I wanted beforehand so I wasn't totally sure how the arrangements would look, but the flowers were even more beautiful than I had hoped. She really nailed the loose & romantic look that we'd talked about, and since we didn't really have "wedding colors" she incorporated the fall tones that we wanted perfectly. She was at the venue to set up right on time, made sure all the arrangements were placed in the right spots, and came back at the end of the night to pick up the larger vases and trees we'd rented from her. The more I look at photos, the more I realize just how much Anna did for us that day, from the fairy lights strung around the manzanita trees, to the 6-foot leaf garland at our head table, to the aisle arrangements in galvanized buckets. The flowers at our wedding were probably the one thing I had the highest expectations for, and Anna gave us something so beautiful and memorable.

We told her the vague vision we had and loved the inspiration photos she sent us back. We specified what colors and general feel we wanted ("fall" but without pumpkins or maple leaves) and went back and forth a bit on the ceremony centerpiece, but beyond that we left a lot in her hands. I'm so glad we did because she got to do what she does best, which is create incredible floral art. I think Gina is also a bit magical because she did something pretty special and extraordinary with our flowers... A few weeks before the wedding she texted and asked me what jewelry I was going to wear on the big day. I sent back a picture of the earrings I planned to wear, red coral drops that my now-spouse had gotten me on a special vacation to Italy. He bought them for me in Napoli, a city that is very dear to my heart, and I chose them because they remind me of the "cornicello" a Neapolitan good-luck symbol that looks a bit like a red chili pepper. I didn't tell Gina any of that -- but on our wedding day she had red chili peppers scattered throughout our floral arrangements, including in bouquet. It absolutely blew me away! It felt like I was surrounded by little bursts of good luck everywhere I looked that day, and just meant the world to me. It also struck me as incredibly creative -- I'd never thought about including peppers in floral arrangements, and so many guests asked us about them. Finally, not only is Gina deeply creative but she's also a true professional. We had to move our entire ceremony from a redwood forest to our indoor reception venue on short notice due to rain. Gina pivoted on a dime without complaint, and really busted her butt to bring inside the forest feel we'd spent a year dreaming about. Furthermore, she and her team, with the help of our caterer and coordinator, flipped the ceremony space from an altar, aisle, and chairs, to a sit-down dinner for 140 in about 90 minutes. It took my breath away to see how she transformed the space and to experience how different it felt, and it was not lost on us how incredibly hard she and her team worked on our wedding day. And in one final very thoughtful surprise, she had purchased beautiful wooden cutouts of our and our wedding party's names for our plates at the head table. We had no idea she'd done that and were so touched by the gesture. To top it off, Gina was incredibly easy to work with, start to finish. She was a clear communicator, had easy online booking and payment, and was willing to work with our firm budget. I can also vouch for her special occasion arrangements; I hired her to send a bouquet to a friend for her birthday, and the arrangement was gorgeous. I'll be coming back to her for all my flower needs, whether everyday or special occasion, from here on out, and recommend her to everyone!

I needed a tropical bouquet for our jet quickly and to make the situation more complex, I needed this to be delivered to a private airport on a weekend morning and my over the top request was coming in to Dawsha LATE after hours! I had gotten a referral from a friend of a friend because I grew up near here in Northern California and she had done amazing things for events and it was, IMO, a long stretch! I reached out figuring , 'what do I have to lose?' Those of us who work in these types of arenas are met with ALL sorts of situations ALL the time.. IF I get told 'no' or ghosted.. I will move on! Dawsha totally surprised me and responded to me on my work phone IN MINUTES of my request!!! MOREOVER, her florals to my tropical need was beyond my expectation and GORGEOUS!!! EVEN under my budget! I was blown away! To have these types of florals available to me for this pop up trip on a weekend, after hours, and delivered to a private terminal on the 'fly' was mind blowing and it truly alleviated a LOT of stress and worry for me. They lasted while we flew to the Hawaiian islands and popped around between them at altitude which is pretty rare. I changed out the water every day and treated them kindly. I have now added Seibel's Unique Florals to my preferred florist and advised the private terminal(s) within the area to please use Dawsha and her brother for the gorgeous florals and seriously amazing customer service!!!
